UPDATE: As of hotfix #5, specifically Rune Ring's now work!... Kind of. When I tested my damage, it went from 180 > 192 with 32% increased rune damage, so not sure what's going on there. Someone has reported that Fire Throw is giving the full effect. It seems to be giving me the full effect with magic. UPDATE 2: Hotfix #6 has made it so Fierce Rings' damage bonus now applies! Also, plagued ring and snake ring have been buffed slightly.

@@Botchala Yeah! I'm going to make a video on the things still broken in the game soon, but some of the rings that were broken before this patch weren't mentioned in the patch, so I'm assuming they still are broken!
Total bummer so many rings are broken, but it's early access so stuff like this is to be expected. Hopefully an upcoming patch fixes all the ring issues soon!

@Snapziey i actually found a giga busted build with the snake rings, i literally walk into the echo knight boss arena, put something on my "Control"-key grab a glas of water and by the time im back he's dead PS: didnt test if this still works with hotfix 5
You are right that it does show a red "+1" number. However, +1 is saying that it is healing us (although it IS weird how it is saying only "1") just like it gives you an orange "+" number when you regain focus. If you are telling me that people use this to proc health on damage taken, then I'll believe it. There might be some weird interaction where you aren't actually taking damage, but it still is counting it as taking damage, or you take like 1 damage and the ring just heals over it straight away. Although I was trying to demonstrate that you don't take a chunk of damage and you dont deal extra damage, it's still interesting!
Is there a possibility to have a spreadsheet or a comment on what you tested and what stacks and what does not stack? English is not my main language and sometimes I didn't understand what you were testing.

Can confirm that most of the Rings still dont work as intended and also that most of the Legendaries dont work as well. I put a good 135 hrs into the game and am going to give it a break and see if they listen to some of our feedback and update the game Significantly. The game is overall really good but needs a CRAP TON of work still

wearing 3 rune rings on my mage rn so I'm gonna take those off for the present being... I never questioned it because I was levelling so much just safely killing things stacking int that I didn't bother to check the actual boost x3 rune rings made. turns out zero!
Rune Rings are working fine with certain Rune Skills. The "Throw" skills get the correct +Damage applied. Don't know about things like Fireball because I haven't tested it, but they do work just fine when I lob my Hammer with Ice Throw.
ok tester :) tell me is there a difference betwen having action speed bonus vs having separate movement speed + attack speed bonuses ? (aka i think it was named willow ring vs agility ring) in other words does action speed affect anything else than move/attack speed ?? idk somthiong like knockdown recovery, cast speed, rune attack speed etc ?
would like to know that aswell, and if the action speed , or rather the attack speed, even works. since it doesnt on the agility ring. it doesnt feel like it does.
So overall speed is meant to increase both movement speed and attack speed. I should have put the Willow Ring in the video too, to demonstrate this. The overall speed stat on the Willow Ring does not work at all (not the attack speed, nor the movement speed). I would guess that it also does not work on any other piece of gear.
@@Snapziey well that is fucking depressing. i was almost sure that this is the case with attack speed, but atleast with movement speed it felt like there was.. smoething? like getting 10% and then it just .. caps. but i switched a lot between fast and normal, which cahnges it aswell, so idk. could also just be placebo, sine the differences are kinda small, you jjjust hope it works since it says its htere. thank you for your testing
I'm guessing they rushed out early access a tad too soon and didn't get to finish some items. Many, many weapons only have either 1 attack total, no jump attack or no power attack.
@@Snapziey I'm not sure when the rune ring got broken, but I swear it worked when I played after either hotfix 1 or 2. i stopped using it after since I got better rings so didn't notice that it stopped working apparently
@@Snapziey yeah I just figured out how to dupe xp vials from the potion seller quest lol sold some and found out there's a different currency past silver too
for example my unique 2-handed greatsword should increase my stamina by 29% but it does nothing... so is this all bugged or how is it possible all those stats are a lie ?
so all of the rings i am wearing right now only half work or don't work at all nice, i will just look for 3 thistle rings and leave it at that but do you know if the armor and equip load rings work?

I knew attack speed didn't work and overall speed also doesn't seem to but didn't know how broken other things are.
couldnt kill echo knight until i equipped a thistle ring.. and i straight up just manned up to him and traded instead of trying to avoid mechanics

For Thissle Ring: You do take damage when you attack (You can see red number at 0:40). This ring is essencial for Health on damage taken spec.
I thnik the red number is additional fire dmg. But I can be wrong. You can see that red number later on in the video when testing different rings.

Just a random drop, either from crucible, or once the monsters in your world can drop level 21 items. I've gotten around like 5 now!
As of today runic rings work, I have 51% runic dmg, regular fire throw is 54~ dmg and both rings is 75~
We did get a patch. Maybe I have to re-test everything, haha

I just think they tried to get early access out in time and had to cut some corners on items. I'm sure it will all improve as time goes on!

Armor works, same with equip load... the rings with the armor and + damage dont give you the extra damage but do give the armor
