Appreciate the time you've put in this. This has been one of the best games i've played in a decade and critical feedback like this combined with the open mindset to feedback from the devs keep me hopeful that this game will become one for the books
After the update, honestly, during fights my stamina doesn't recharge, I thought they were my objects but they have nothing negative on stamina, in fact if they are they have the opposite effect and for this reason I also added their version (dagger one-handed [not the double blades] and bow). To recharge my stamina I have to move away from the enemy or enemies and wait 2 or 3 seconds but I don't have to take any damage or anything. And another annoying bug is the disappearance of the dagger skills, they disappear completely and I have to reload the realm, I am only left with the bow skills. I tried changing weapons, taking them off and putting them back on but nothing. THx for the videos 🤩
yes they did fix performance, when released i had average 60fps in quality mode and now i have 120 fps with gtx 1070 ti gpu and i3 cpu. also the game is still in a phase where many things get changed, there will be nerfs, buffs, removed skills, added skills, everything because its still in a early access and it is estimated that it will release 1.0 in end of 2025 like larian studio did with their bg3 game

I was hoping they would fix the damn rings since day one, but it's been 2 weeks and still no fix on them, sad times. That and unique items being caca is sad times too as all their unique bonuses are borked. I am 110% like you when it comes to jumping ledges now, since I've literally walked off ledges and died when I was suppose to jump just because I was a hair off center on the platform. It's terribad.

Nah I worry but I send feedback and bug reports so they can adjust and patch the game. If the players are complacent then it will just not help the game release in a good form. Moon Studios not shitty like Blizzard but can’t be too careful these days with game developers.
The poise break limit looks like a bug, but it would be cool to leave it in as a feature, a sort of alternate win condition that only low damage attacks like fists can get.
so much needed to be clearer for the player to understand how the game works, went for a full "healing increase" build only finding out later that stuff doesn't stack, kind of boring for theorycrafting.
the focus gain is based on the focus stat on the weapon so a weapon with 9 focus will only give you 18 focus with 100% focus gain now the focus on damage dealt stat is based on total focus you have so if you have 600 focus and you have 5% focus gain on damage dealt you will get 30 focus + the focus on you weapon so if its 9 then you will get 39 focus per hit overall i like you video keep it up and hope the devs see this
You can spam channel spell to regain focus with topaz it's more efficient then actually holding the spell in all the way to get 50 focus, you lose less health and it's quicker. I haven't tested with other runes but I imagine if there are other channel type abilities in the game they will also trigger the focus regain.
As someone who only gets 1-2 hours to play every night, I really appreciate the work you put in to this. I was wondering why my midnight blade seemed so weak lol
Not all weapons having charge attacks or dash attacks is intended, actually. It's to promote different playstyles for different weapons. Same reason some weapons have elaborate attack combos and others have just one or two hit combos.
Thanks for highlighting. Moon should employ you before any patch is released lol. Any chance for a 2-hand build guide? Many build guides just highlight what to use but doesn't elaborate on play tips, methods in the lead up to the level cap.
Something I would like to add is that Weapon that scales with two attributes will always be worse than weapons that scale with only one. For example i was using a Scaling picaxe which scales on Strength and Faith, but the damage will only be higher if I have at least one pointy of each atribute, meaning that if I have 42 Strength and 16 Faith the weapons damage will only increse up to the 16 points I have on Faith and not for the 42 I have on Strength. So because of that getting a weapon that scales in two different attributes is not worth it/
It kinda feels even strange that theres no stat showing between other stats to see how much for example attack speed you have,you can put 3 rings with attack speed bonus and you still dont feel any difference with rings or without. For example i really want to play with 2h axes or other weapons,but sometimes its so frustrating to do that,that it feels like games forces you to just stuck shitload of armor,and go any other 1h weapon and just stomp through content and that makes any other builds so limited thats its insane.
i can list a few more, but let give em a time. We dig into it so much the first thing to Fix is de dupe item thing, thats completly gamebraking, rest is basically tunning and bug fixing
Before you enter the Cerim Crucible and keep saving your coins, the game seems balanced. But when farming starts at Cerim Crucible, things go unbalanced. I think they have to plan the game's balance well... it still doesn't seem to have been done well. Ps:. But in fact there are many rings whose effects either don't match, or don't work well. But it doesn't just stop at the rings... there's still a lot to fix.
After the first ea update 1, im feeling like this is not a good time to play since they have change many things and most of the builds dont work anymore and seems to be broken. Not to mention abt refined items which is very hard to find, for me im playing this game for arpg not farming sim but after the first update i need to keep on grinding every 30 mins and need to wait for processing for half an hour. Btw thank you for your vid
Yeah I really love the game. I test these things to: 1. Make players aware, so that they at least know things are broken and 2. To make the game even better by helping the devs! Hopefully it doesn't come across as a negative video trashing the game. It's very early access and the core game is good.
Oh boy, i knew lots of these stats were not working but i didnt know the extent of how bad it was!!! Did you figure out if these things were working before and got bugged after an update, or were they bugged since the beninging?
Most have been broken from the beginning and I've only now just made a video on the whole collection of things I knew about. Apparently rune rings worked at the start, got broken, then they fixed them again, but I'm not too sure on that. Either way they work now! I tested all of these before the patch and then again after the patch releases just in case some got fixed (except the bow focus abuse, as that's new)
They fixed focus regen in the most recent patch! It's actually "okay" now. Not really useful, as it's very easy to get infinite focus anyway, but it's many many times better than it was. I'm not too sure about health regen, right now.
Thistle ring is the most broken of all things in game. 3x of this and you heal half bar of HP per hit lol. I currently heal over 100 HP per hit with 3 of those and some Healing efficiency on equipment...
In all my runs, I haven't actually gotten the bow ever! I would very much expect the damage against beasts to not work, but I'm not sure if the stamina mod would work.
it's kinda shameful to have all so many hotfixes and balance patches since release, and yet, CORE aspects such as making sure stats on items work properly have no been fixed yet. like wtf have they been testing and fixing instead of something that should definitely be a priority like this - make sure items and item effects do as they say.

Performance is a bit better but latest update didnt do much for it it was the patch before, latest update still improved fps in some other areas

This last patch didn't nerfed my heal when taking dps build... Actually i think im more tankier now XD 😂 great video men keep up the good stuff
When they nerft the healing or dmg enemy when hit, it also doesn't seem to work as intended. Including chance to gain health/stam/or focus.
So in a nutshell everything is broken and with the latest patch with nerfs to focus, it's even worse.

Ledge jumping is controlled by if yiu have a one handed or a two handed. I find my jump is more unlikely to make it if im wearing a two hander.
After patch 1 there is so much that's now working right anymore that it's surreal

Need confirmation, but seems like XP gain don't work with XP potions
never has, same with negative xp from cursed items - they only apply to xp from kills
shields armor right now is not adding up.
Not sure if this is what you're referring to, but the shield armour bonus only applies when you raise the shield specifically!

It says on the ring that overall speed is meant to increase both attack speed and movement speed.
