I think it's a natural reaction. Most people would want to hide and be silent to avoid detection, regardless of the monster or "bad guy."

Looks great I like that they are going to explore the events of day one and the movie does have some cast in it. Very great shots of the creatures in too especially the sequence at the end.
Also Mike looks like John Krasinski at the end of the first Quiet Place with the white sweater
I honestly feel that the military actually managed to kill a few of them because in the two movies you see very few of the aliens rather in the trailer you see many of them, so maybe they managed to kill a few
The single advandtage they have from the movie compared to the others is that they have cellphones and most likely wifi which means they'll probably get an "evacuation" notice until they destroy the bridge and try to contain them, but then comes the issue of "what about everyone else,"
I wish they could/would make a practical monster for the close-ups.

I loved the first film so much i bought the 4K! Saw the second film on Streaming (thought it was ok). But at this point i feel like they just re-treading the same formula? This Trailer does nothing to get me into the Theaters.
I saw a Quiet Place in theaters and really enjoyed it, but I haven’t seen the second one yet. I’m all for it though! I just probably won’t see it for the next 7 years or until you post a trailer reaction for the next sequel. 😂 Think about how many people are gonna get killed in a city?! Cities are nothing but noise!

I have always felt that the initial outbreak of these zombie/alien stories are the best parts IMO.
Most infection movies for example usually take place during the aftermath. I would like more movies where the first day of the outbreak is the focus.

I would like to have new variants of the creatures similar to the Alien films with the Xenomorphs. Like imagine a Death Angel with eyes but can’t hear, or a giant Queen one inside a meteorite nest laying eggs. Maybe some of the Death Angels could even evolve to being able to see to raise the stakes. IDK just my opinion. They have endless potential adding onto the alien species.

Interesting thoughts on the cloverfield connection. Monsters look similar and Cloverfield would be the momma. You see multiple scaling buildings in this trailer and the little ones do that in the subway scene of Cloverfield. Totally agree on the awesome “Avengers” shot.

I'd love to see a Cloverfield sequel or even a movie from a different POV that harkens back to the scene where the two camera guys cross lenses on the bridge in the movie. But having this be a surprise sequel? It's a bit too grandiose. Too "Hollywood" where they show too much. It looks and feels overly refined and traditional to be a real Cloverfield entry. I have no idea how I could explain this better. Maybe you, or someone else, can help out with the wording?

Speaking of Cloverfield, the direct sequel to the first one is completely done SO what if they attach the first trailer to this one? I think it would make perfect sense since this has a similar tone! would be pretty fkn rad and both are from paramount too.

I was actually looking to see if the movie was woke or not and came across your Twitter post complaining/virtue signalling. It's a legit question given the change in the cast and the times we are in. I have no problem with a non-white cast, heard good things and am planning on seeing the movie, but I can understand why people might think it's woke just from the previews.

A quite place would have tied perfectly to Cloverfield if they hadn't had released all those awful sequels. I think it's too late for me, my Cloverfield excitement was killed off with 10 Cloverfield lane and the awful Cloverfield Paradox!
