Sounds like the starter.. One loud thump Solenoid moved but starter motor did not turn. There are other weird problems with these cars too like ECM not triggering starter relay, bad ground or start signal from ignition switch to starter relay
Bro it’s the battery I just had it happen today for the first time my battery was just dead because the vehicle don’t move much it does get started every so often but I haven’t started it in a few days and it went from hot to really cold drained the battery so it was doin all that weird stuff wit no power and stuff
My impala wont start when its hot. I mean it wont make a single noise. The dash lights turn off when i turn the key and no noise no clicking. I keep trying for a minute or 2 and it turns on. What could it be?
@@xclusyvesunni thermostat has absolutely nothing to do with your can not starting all it does is either let coolant flow thru or stop it depending on the temperature of the colant

You might need a new thermostat. No mechanic just a suggestion
