For stock class racing, mechanical motor timing is legal but not ESC timing. So that’s the main reason to tweak the motor. ESC timing is better because it can adjust timing for different rpm ranges which is really cool. It’s still a good idea to check your mechanical timing so you know where you are starting from.
@ yeah, im tempted to get one to just play about with 😂 esp as in winter we race indoors, and its 10.5 on blinky. So getting the most out the motor would be good
One thing ive never done is use an analyzer. I just add boost and turbo on the esc. But i guess its all about getting the most out of your motor
