Casey Key in Sarasota County damaged from Hurricane Helene

Helene hit Florida as a Category 4 hurricane late Thursday night, before weakening and downgrading to a tropical storm Friday morning. But where in Florida did it actually land?
The storm first made landfall in the Big Bend region near Perry and made its way directly north to Georgia, radar shows. In that time, it weakened from Category 4.

I used to love going to Casey Key Fish House when I lived in Sarasota. They have/had "great burgers" there. All this is so sad.....😪

Glad I left FL. My car insurance already doubled after Ian. I can't imagine how much insurance claims will be considering nearly the entire west coast of FL had storm surge.
