My vinyl seems way thicker than the stuff I see everyone else using. Very hard to work with. I ordered directly from vvivid too. I ordered about 1.5 to 2 years after this vinyl release so who knows if they changed the composition. Anyone else have this problem?
This camo film is a bit thicker than regular films, I think because it's textured. I haven't ordered or used any in the very recent past, but it can be a bit harder to work with, as it doesn't seem to cold stretch like normal vinyl. Again, I think the texturing of the vinyl has something to do with it. A light application of heat does help a bit, but you have to use heat carefully with this as it could "gloss out" the patterning.
Has it moved any or changed sense being in the heat/sun
No, but I've taken it off and have put on two different wraps since lol!
It will never move lol only possibility is edges lifting or recesses bubbling up from improper instal.
You left out the part that this vinyl in particular can have very little to almost no stretch because you will distort the pattern. Yes with all vinyl you want to avoid overstretching but anything with a pattern or carbon fiber is a biiiittcchhh lolol
You are correct! Because this vinyl has a pattern, overstretching can distort the pattern if you're not careful.
