Longboarding through the woods looks epic!

Thank you! :) Surprisingly New England is full of these converted rail-trails!

@@Rideables btw, that was September. I'm thinking the current fall color would be really cool. Have you thought about that backdrop. We were there from California October 2018 and it was amazing! Just wondering

Yes, indeed, the fall foliage is just starting, I hope I'll capture some of it! Still have a backlog of that Sep ride and October one in Rhode Island along the Blackstone River.

I am thinking of converting my long board with a Waterborne adapter. Looks like a really cool option for cruising and carving.

Absolutely, the cost of experiment is not that big (you can use code RIDEABLES at Waterborne site checkout for 15% off), once I was comfortable with extra height and freedom of motion, it is my go to choice. It pumps moderate uphill even on these relatively big 97 wheels, and overall gives a good core muscle workout, fun to carve.

I really wanna grab an adjustable kahuna stick just for braking on my waterborne setup, they're so high and unstable I wish I had a better way to stop. Have you moved on to other trucks, or are you thinking about trying their FIN setup?

Thank you for your comment, braking was a pain for me too, I figured I could rub my shoe against the rear wheel like this: th-cam.com/video/_7ls8xFR7lk/w-d-xo.html , but on a top-mount I was quickly shaving off an edge of the wheel - these yellow shavings were all around. I was on a lookout for some sort of a peg to rest my foot on around rear wheels, while I could regulate how much force I apply to the wheel to brake.
Lately I'm riding an LDP deck with TTX tail where the wheels are exposed - it's so naturally suited for wheel-sole braking. I haven't published my video of this method but here's someone else's one: th-cam.com/video/ZtWVczorXjA/w-d-xo.html
Stick doesn't seem to be very productive in braking, and also it's an extra object in a hand.
