Thank you for your question - this one is the fastest! Second hand "Sector 9 Blue Wave Lookout dropthrough" on 10" Gullwing Charger trucks, and either these 97mm wheels, or 85mm Caguamas. I did 25km (15.5mi) on it in summer 2020 in mixed terrain up/down 4 degree with avg speed 15.7km/h (~10mph) on Caguama 85mm wheels. I also rode it for 89km / 55mi in one day in 8.5h (with rest stops included) on 80mm orange kegel wheels. I know though that for speed people would use low ride bracket boards and primarily push alternating feet - they are able do 42km (26 mi) in ~ 1h36m! @@Rideables I do love to pumping surf skate as my cardio workout. My set up is 121c aileron deck, independent + waterborne for front truck, riser + independent for rear truck and orangatang 4 president 70mm. I can do my best average speed is 18.2 km/h r. I used to use gullwing double kingpin as a rear truck but I think its too carving for speed set up. I do love to try a bigger wheel if I can find in my country.
@@oatsaksaree3347 Thanks for the details and I've learned a new deck manufacturer - Aileron carbon fiber is very sophisticated and it should be very lightweight. 18.2km/h is very good on 70mm wheels! My wheels are off-brand 97mm which can be found on Aliexpress, they cost around $25 or $35 with bearings included. Bigger wheel diameter smoothens pavement grain roll resistance. Even 80mm would feel much faster, not saying about 85mm. LDP people praise highly Seismic Speed Vents 85mm, but with Waterborne watch out for wheelbite - risers and tightened trucks might mitigate it. I also use it for cardio workout, still I want it to be safe - I don't feel right when the speed is significantly higher than I can mobilize and run out in case I overlook a pebble or a hole in pavement. For faster A to B time the ideal trajectory should be closer to straight, this is achieved by zero rear truck or reversed rear truck. Rewatching my videos rail adapter acts almost like zero angle truck. Which country are you in?
@@Rideables Thanks for your kindly respond, 18.2 Km/hr. its measure by using only bike app in my phone not sure how much accurate it is. I normally skating in a park flat surface so I think I can do more speed. I will find a bigger wheel may be 80 or 85 mm to see how much I can go 😁 Thanks again for your very informative comments. I do appreciate it 👍👍👍 I'm living in Thailand.
@@oatsaksaree3347 oh wow, I've heard surf-skating is very popular in Thailand, Steve Palmer from Surfskate Love channel was also saying that the most of his viewers are from Thailand! 🤙🤙🤙 Cheers!
This looks like a really great path!
Thank you for watching and your comment! Indeed, especially the smooth new pavement and the fountain.
Nice way to rack up the miles! I'm dig'n the greenway man!
Thank you! Indeed miles rack up so easily when riding in a group of like-minded hobbyists, having a pleasant conversation.
Nice ride🤙
Thank you! ✌
What is your fastest set up for surf skate and how much speed you can get?
