OK but how would you transmit the data at 4K bit rates? We need these cams but the transmission system capabilities are from 90's - or very expensive it seems. How would you put hundred cameras worth of 4K data through a transmission on an airplane - is there such tech
The game pacenotes are very simple for the casual players, imo should have advaned pacenotes that sounds like this, for me the game pacenotes are way too simple

I mean yea, F1 is still a good bit faster, but they usually land in some nice padded tirewalls or a big runoff area. If this guy's brakes would fail in one of those hairpins he'd fly straight down a cliff 😬😂

@@Fran-gl4rh I was saying that the screen recording is done at 60fps, as you can see from the video settings in the youtube player, that to me seems a HIGH refresh rate, given the fact that TV is 25 fps (in Europe) or 30 fps (in America). So the sense of speed is given by the high framerate, compared to seeing a race on tv. 144fps is wasted computational power... uman eye is not very capable of seeing over 60fps.
Once you get used to it, it just becomes natural, if you play rally sims enough, it will slowly build up and become easy. It's better to turn off visual help and only listen to audio. I think for me, it started to become natural after 150 hours of playtime. These real life racers also practice a lot in sims and they even have way over than 1000 hours of playtime. It's just like walking, it's actually pretty damn hard, but we learned it and from that point, it's just easy and natural. @@vaughnm0156 I recommend you the Richard Burns Rally with either Czech or Hungarian mods (both are good). They're free to download, has great community and is a true simulator. Graphics isn't so bad either, it does not come close to Dirt Rally of course, but it didn't bother me as the feel of driving is very realistic. Many rally drivers prefer practicing on RBR actually. Don't get confused that it's a 2004 game, it really was made to be realistic with the help of Richard Burns himself.
If only this brightness+sky color was possible in WRC game and on Dirt Rally. Default noon is much dimmer than this and when you correct gamma/exposure sky is blown out and not blue anymore but white, giving the impression of overcast ☹️
@@akkmo1834 I don't know if it has an effect in WRC but if the tarmac is already hot/warm the tyres might overheat, thus cooler tarmac might keep the tires at a good temperature.
@@akkmo1834 Up to a point Cold tarmac is better. But that’s more of a issue with circuit racing because they have lots of rubber down and that’s what is causing negative effects at high temps. Because the rubber basically becomes like a goo and it just slides across the tarmac. It’s just like tires, you don’t want them too hot or too cold, you want it right in the perfect window

If I am correct only Bell helmet offers such possibility. Not Stilo (yet). This at the first come out on F1 last year. The problem is that you can not use attached camera inside of helmet due to safety reasons. In other way there are quite a few manufacturers who are offering to attach cameras inside the helmet. Bell has mounted it inside the helmet pad on a side part at eye level. It is about 5mm in diameter. On tarmac rally it is one picture. On gravel roads like in Fin it would be a bit bumpy 😃 But again, those WRC window corner onboard cameras are very very not entertaining :)
Formula E have been doing it for a couple years now, so it can be done. Heck, I think a lot of series' should look towards FE in terms of fan interaction and content creation. Probably the best of any motorsport series that I know of.

Impressive how sticky are today's tyres even at relatively cold weather, rallying on tarmac changed dramatically over last ten years or so.
Isn't a cold tarmac better for grip ?

From what I know, warmer tarmac makes tyres warmer so the tyres become stickier and hence more grip

Is there a reason why WRC cars don't have the paddle shifters on the steering wheel as apposed to a stick shift?
Some R5 and other cars have a single paddle right of the steering wheel that works the same as this sequential stick
