It’s not worth the emotional and self mental destruction from how the bots treat you on this difficulty. Literally HOURS of grinding to get one were rng doesn’t give me some dirt in my eyes for a chance at S Rank… (there’s an unlock for getting emeralds on master. Not for S rank tho
The emeralds are already giving me a hard enough time just by getting sniped by every character on the map the moment I hit first so going for them on master sounds like it would end me up in a padded cell
Brilliant Gameplay. I'm asking this as I'm looking to improve/understand the game a little bit better. On the first track, how come you hold onto your item boxes for so long? Surely using rings is the best way to maintain speed and keep yourself ahead, right? I find myself at a setback if I'm not taking turns without them more often than not.
That is the only map I can get away with it. Normally yes I like to set up traps for the bots to keep the advantage. But if you get too far ahead the bots will slingshot forward (storm rig is a great example of this) It also depends on your character stats that will determine if you should prioritize level 1 drifts or level 2 drifts The heavier you are the quicker your drift sparks charge up; but you take much wider turns
YES OMG I hate storm rig so much I’m not the only one xD You have no idea how much pain this was; also annoying when the roulette wheel breaks at certain points when you need your item
I also prefer the 2D art my self; you get way more detail in the sprites. but there is a slight advantage to using 3D so you can get a more accurate representation of where your / other karts are aiming at
Man, you really don't truly KNOW just how awful the AI is until you play on this difficulty. It's horrible. This game always does shit to fuck you over at the worst moments I swear to god, especially with how some of these maps are... Jeez...
I have so many clips of me spending anywhere up to 20 seconds tumbling on the final stretch to the finish line I’ll get hit with a random top, then the SPB gets me then I get hit by a bumper. Flown off the map, respawn, get hit by a random orbi knocking me into a mine then dying because of it The SPB Cup was miserable… but no where near as obnoxious as sneaker cup; that one is still legit the worst one
