We are now very close to the 4th quarter of the year and it would be very interesting to see which stocks that if bought right now could give relatively decent dividends 2021.
As you all know dividend investing are for people who want to get cashflow and are just willing to hold on to the stock and collect the dividends to get passive income for life.
I have divided the 12 stocks into two groups, the first group are the ones that based on 2020 dividends are quite attractive but because of the pandemic I think they might have lesser income this year and their dividends might be hit
While the next batch of stocks are the ones that have given good dividends but in the same way are resilient and will thrive in this new normal.
The Dividend paying stocks that we would talk about are as follows: GLO TEL MER AP GMA7 SPC FLI LTG NIKL AREIT DMC
Please do note I made some assumptions along the way as I started to make my list

Dividend Yield = 7.04%
*March and June 2020 income have dropped
*2 special dividends at 0.0259 and 0.0065

Dividends = 0.66
Dividend Yield = 7.99%
*2019 was a record year of earnings for them
*Special dividends of (0.23 + 0.28)

Notable consideration MWC is not part of the list because they have not given any dividends yet as of the time of this recording
CEB and Pilipinas SHELL are not part of the list because they slashed their dividends out as well.

I'm so tempted to buy from mining because it pays well but I can't sleep at night if I get rich for digging up mother nature.
Its either you dig mother nature, or dig you own poverty grave.

How I wish all Filipinos will start investing now , this is one way for our country to bounce back in our ailing economy..
The stock market have crashed & still crashing since march 2020. The maintained price of stocks today are paid by the destruction of Filipino Juan hard earned savings(injection of new debt). You have maintained your stock prices despite the crash will translate to 10 pesos per tomatoes rather than 1 tomatoes previously. Selling your high stock price for tomatoes will require higher number of stocks to sell later. This is the game you are played very well buy in parabolic state and conditioned to accept since birth. Question, what will happen to Juan savings now..

Hi ask ko lang.. okay din kaya yung buy before exdate then sell on record date.. just to take the dividend?
this is not advisable. On most cases stock price goes down on record date which will just offset the gain you got from the dividend. It is better to buy on record date, so your div yield on next payout will be higher.
