I've been using the xt4 with the 16-80mm for the last month and having an amazing time, excellent camera, people always smile when they see it because of the vintage look and nostalgic feeling it gives, makes them feel more comfortable about getting there picture taking I found.

11:13 - 11:29 I think you meant to say it doesn’t have a headphone jack. This camera absolutely has an external mic jack. I have used the mic jack several times for some audio tests on my channel. Unlike the XT3 it doesn’t have a headphone jack, which is weird. Like you said you can use the USB-C to 3.5mm adapter, but it is actually a headphone jack alternative, rather than a mic input alternative. Also, if you buy the battery grip, the grip actually has a headphone jack.

I think you got confused between the microphone input and a headphone output. There is a mic input with great preamps...
Technically APS-C and Super35 are different sensor sizes. And the Fuji X-Trans III/IV is an APS-C sized sensor. Also the Panasonic GH5 launched back in 2017 was the first hybrid consumer camera to do 10-bit 4k internally. That's like 3 years before XT-4 hits the market. Not complaining, just correcting the facts.
Its a great camera! Been making money from using it for a year. Great for creating stock video, and the picture quality is top notch!

Really enjoyed this. Just traded in my beloved Olympus E-M1 Mk II system with 6 MFT lenses and bought an X-T4 as well as an X-E4 and a few primes as well as that little XF18-55 f/2.8-4 R LM OIS “kit lens”. I have to say that I really like this versatile zoom lens for both photography and video. It is small and light, so I can use it on either body. The 27-82 mm range is useful for most video as well as street photography. The lens focuses pretty quickly and is quiet as well. The F/2.8-4 aperture allows it to perform a little better in low light than similar lenses from Sony and Canon.
I do have to correct one point you made. The X-T4 absolutely has a built in 3.5mm jack for a mic input. There is not, however, a dedicated HEADPHONE jack. Instead, that is where you can use Fuji’s adapter dongle which can connect a 3.5mm headphone plug to the camera’s USB-C port. And I’m going to order an extra dongle or two, as that little guy is begging to get lost! Cmon Fuji- put a real 3.5mm headphone Jack on the X-T5!

Can you make a comparison between the Sony ZV-E10 and the Fujifilm XT-4.
I plan on starting a TH-cam channel and have bought the Sony ZV-1 for my second angle camera.
I want to upgrade to a better main camera.
The Sony ZV-E10 is amazing value at 750$ with the great video quality. But it is not weather sealed and there is no 4K 60fps.
The Fujifilm XT-4 is much more expensive.
Is it worth the upgrade in your opinion?

Hi love your videos as thinking of getting my first camera, should I get the X-S10 or X-T4, I live in Scotland and can't decide if the weather sealing is worth it over the ease of use and grip of the X-S10
I love the X-S10 I've had it for over a year. I shot a few videos with it on my channel. I recently just purchased an X-T4 which I'm waiting on. I think if you are new to fujifilm the X-S10 is a great camera to get you into the system. If you are new to photography like myself I think the dials on the X-T4 can be a bit intimidating if you don't know how to perfect them. I am pretty comfortable now to where I feel I can add an XT4 to my arsenal.
I appreciate the video. But why do you seem to skip on the functionality of the GH5 when you talk about how no other camera can do the bitrate or codecs that the xt4 can? Is it because it isn’t the same sensor size?

Perhaps you’ve heard of a company that manufactured the filmstock that MOST feature films were shot on (Kodak not Fuji).
This camera is awesome for pictures, but I can't use a camera where either the tripod mount is not in the centre, or the battery can't be changed without the battery door fouling the tripod mount.
I don't understand why this is STILL an issue with these Fujifilm cameras!!!

I am learning filmmaking and photography and I am looking for a camera, which I can use for photography and for a very Low budget short film. Obviously i can't afford expensive red and all right now but since I am learning, so I hope this camera will fulfil my requirements or if you have any other suggestions my budget is $3000 indian currency around ₹2 lakh

Love Fuji and the XT4 looks super promising. I am seriously looking at making the leap. Keep in mind though, for facts and stats, the Panasonic GH5 had 10bit 4:2:2 (internal) 400Mbps before ANY other manufacturer in this class (not Fuji as you mentioned here). And the IBIS coming from Panasonic is so incredibly fluid it puts all others to shame. The XT4 IBIS is a disappointment, to say the least.
I actually just reviewed the Pansonic s5 aswell. I personally feel split, but i think i prefer the fuji for the colors

The AF is phase-detect but does not perform as good as the Canon's and Sony's. Why? Is it because of the lenses?
combination of lenses, the tech it self, the auto focusing algorithm. The tech is just behind, fuji is much smaller company
