This video is great! Btw, Nioh 2 is basically just a direct improvement over Nioh 1 in every feasible way, so I really hope you plan to do it next! I would also recommend the Ninja Gaiden games, especially Ninja Gaiden Black
So psyched to watch this; please tell me you’re planning to do Nioh 2 as well. These games absolutely deserve more attention, especially the second one, and your particular brand of erudite discourse is always a delightful way to go over any title. As always, thanks for taking the time to make and share your wonderful content with us : )
The thing about Nue, is that it's the true test to whether or not the player has mastered the Ki Pulse ability, and I feel with a lot of early Nioh boss ranking lists, people are still stuck in the Dark Souls mentality, where they don't bother with the mechanics that make Nioh unique. Most of Nue's attacks end up causing Yokai Realms to spawn, slowing player Ki regeneration, and causing Nue to regenerate it's Ki. If the player has mastered the Ki Pulse, combined with taking advantage of Nue's big glowing weak spot in it's stomach, this is barely an issue.
Paralysis can be overcome whilst you're paralysed with the anti-paralysis needle, you don't need to use it before it's fully accumulated. Hino-enma paralyses you, it's one button away from freedom. I also respect the sheer power of elemental stop talismans against their elements, they're incredibly useful. In 2, at least, not sure about 1. Also I don't know if you know or care about Ki Flux, but it's a very powerful tool that really helps your Ki recovery. On a Ki Pulse, perfectly timed *or not, either works*, just roll your thumb through the top, left and bottom buttons, roll up or down depending on what starts with what you're not already on. You can work on the fine movement with time, it's actually just the two buttons, it's not as complicated as it sounds, the idea really being to switch to another stance depending on what you want, or you can just switch back to your current, of course, which would be third if you want that. The Odachi, a weapon from the first DLC and the sequel, has a lot of good stuff for putting you in different stances which is also, you'd think 'why couldn't I just do that myself?' but with the 3 stances and what you wind up on, plus learning Ki Flux, you can switch between stances lovely and fluidly for getting off stylish combos that keep up pressure well and gets you to the precise tool you want.
I still remember my first playthrough when nue and hino enma killed me 8 times, nowadays nue is a joke, hino enma is probably my favorite base game boss
i need a community tier list of DS3 osts and i need to know where you whrite the comments bcs dear lord i could whrite an entire book about sulyvahn ost XD

"Bro just wanted to troll the British one more time before going back to the underworld" has to be one of the funniest lines I have ever heard.
Please give Nioh 2 a try

I like the dlc bosses a bit more butt that’s just because of final boss of the second dlc I can’t express enough how much I love his fight
Keep up the good work 👍
the giant toad boss fight in this game makes me really think of the giant toad from naruto i think it was somewhat inspired by that
Them dlcs are gonna mess up the ranking so much.
First spot with one of the top tracks from soundtrack. ❤

After beating the duo boss fight with yuki and the other dude(whatever his name is) I fear no gank fights anymore lmao
These games have excellent music. I really like 2's OST.
Such an underrated game nioh, with its levels and sub levels it makes for the perfect pallet cleanser to a soulborne game.
The rock was definitely the best strat for that fight! Eff doing it without it for real 😂
