I rarely comment on TH-cam but this is so beautiful and worthy of high praise. I never imagined this transcription would work on solo guitar so well. Absolutely wonderful. Thanks 🙏
Wow. Simply amazingly beautiful. My grandfather loved classical guitar and introduced me to Segovia on vinyl when I was young. Wish I could share this video with him.
Thank you so much for listening and commenting. I was introduced to the classical guitar by my grandfather as well, he showed me albums of Liona Boyd and lent me his guitar, which was the instrument I first learned on. Happy New Year!!
Utterly gorgeous, this is one of those pieces that really works well with the reverb in the hall - unreal that you got it to translate to the guitar so well, that says everything about just how good your playing is!
@@AdamCicchillitti When saw the song I just had to listen to the version, is one of my favourite classic, in fact I gave it a try so many years ago, but in an electric guitar way, with a recorded backing guitar and shortened version, but has nothing to do with yours lol..! And btw I was exploring your channel and again congrats, you have a great career and play several great artists like Tárrega, Albeniz, Piazzolla, Villa-Lobos, Bach and many other great stuff so just wow 👍🎸💪
Wow Adam! vraiment excellent comme rendement. Ça flotte, c'est léger....virtuose et paisible.. j'adore ça! Bravo à toi et René pour l'arrangement, c'est impeccable!
This is a truly stunning performance, so beautiful. Well done, such hard work to make something so complex sing. Sending good vibes from Ireland . John 😀
good afternoon Adam, can I ask where is it possible to buy this manuscript please and my footstool broke and I'm looking to purchase one of those supports to rest on leg etc. is there one you can recommend ? thanks . kind regards, John
Beautiful! Is this solo transcription sheet music or tablature available for purchase? It is blissfully hypnotic and so tenderly and expressively played!
Thank you for your kind words Kris! The transcription isn’t available for purchase as I was working off the piano score using Eduardo Baranzano’s transcription as a reference
@@AdamCicchillitti You are very welcome. Thank you anyway. I'd already found one transcription which is still quite nice but I believe yours is the best one I've heard. But I don't know if I've ever had to integrate so many shifts into any of my repertoire so perhaps it is for the best! 😂
Great question! I use Guitar Nails Kit adhesives. It’s basically 3M double-sided tape. Non-toxic, so it doesn’t ruin the nail-bed, and sticks really well. You have to make sure when you apply the stickers that the real nail is very clean and that the nail you’re applying is perfectly filed down to fit on top of the real nail. I played on my real nails for 20 years so I didn’t want to start using toxic glues www.grandsalondeguitare.com/product/a-175-guitar-nails-kit-refill-adhesives/
Bonjour! Bravo, bellissime version! Mais Eduardo Baranzano non est de Cuba, sinon d’Uruguay, il est la personification de la “guitarre sudamericaine” ;) La culture est un peu différente: gauchos, chevaux, Pampa… et guitare!
Unfortunately it isn’t. I worked with the piano score in E-major and then drop-tuned the sixth string to D. The piano score is freely available on IMSLP. Hope this helps!
@@AdamCicchillitti thanks! I never thought Debussy would work well on the guitar, it is mesmerising. My brother walked pass and stop to ask me if he is really hearing Arabesque being played on the guitar. Does this particular guitar works better or any other type of guitar works just as well?
@@JongChoongShyr Double-tops make a guitar louder in general, they do not assist with playability (making a piece easier). This piece could technically be played on any guitar but is best-suited to a classical guitar. I spent many months preparing for this recording - since the work is originally for piano it is not generally idiomatic for the guitar. There are a lot of really awkward fingerings that make it difficult. I hope this answers your question!
@@AdamCicchillitti thanks for replying! Cause i am sure an accomplished guitarist would have a plethora of guitars and this guitar is used, maybe there was a special reason.
