Thanks for this video. In any case, I wouldn't try this "Arabesque" because technically, it was monstrous (i'am very far from this level). And what a superb interpretation by Josh Moore. It was magical. I've always had trouble working on Debussy's music because every time I listen to a piece, my brain escapes and my concentration goes with him :)
Nice, I'm used with the piano one but this is so good, incredible that this piece has it's space on guitar too! One day I'll try it out not my level skill right now LOL
:28 the space caused by hand repositioning there just destroys the smoothness it should have, imo. Not sure why you are needing to reposition as I've seen many others play it w/o that unnatural pause caused by lifting the entire hand. Could I play it better? No. Besides that gap, I think it was a very nice rendition.
@@MeatPez then that means we like different things. :) I just felt that if the REST OF IT was smooth and connected... why suddenly a disconnect just to reposition the hand? FIND A WAY to keep it flowing. There is a vid of some guy from Indonesia, Malaysia, I don't know but he does a great version. Nylon string guitar in some room and a girl walks by in the background and to some elevator ignoring him. Just seems a quick vid he took of him playing it and it's pretty much perfect, to me. That's why I didn't like the ONE SINGLE disconnect. It makes no sense. oh well....
@@MeatPez I can find it and put the link here... one sec.... not to poop on Josh's video but I just think this other guy had a very good arrangement and pretty smooth. I just didn't like that one pause in Josh's version.
I commend the effort, but Debussy just isn't made for the guitar. And I say this as a classical guitarist. The instrument is too mid-range, there's not enough presence, and the mechanics of playing just don't allow for the fluidity required to make it sound sweet and fully resonant.
It looks hellishly difficult. Exquisite beauty. Such fantastic playing. I applaud you sir...
Debussy would be so pleased to hear this beautiful performance! Thank you, Maestro Moore!!!
I am totally blown away! Incredible!!
WOW!!! Absolutely Stunning‼️❣️‼️🎵🎶🎵😁👍BRAVO‼️‼️‼️
I'm blown away by this

That was really beautiful !!! What an artist . He really got to the spirit of the music !
Great playing Josh!
Congratulations, really outstanding!
An inspiring performance - thank you! Brilliant and beautiful. Warm wishes from Detroit.
Beautiful!!
That guitar looks mint!!! An the sound is charm and warm with a lot of detail!!!
Baranzano's arr. is so good
Beautifully played
The perceived "little beauty" and tenderness of the original translates so well to the intimate sound of the guitar
So beautifully played. Thank you so much. Just sublime beauty.
bellissima interpretazione! Incantevole!
Sublime!
Damn man. Great stuff.

I have it ,Master Baranzano share it to me a few years ago...just share me your email and i share it to you.
Who's arrangment is this?
Master Eduardo Baranzano
He put his whole debussy into this one
😐
The melody was not my style but i really appreciate your technic and nuance.....Thanks for uploading.
Very nice. I'm not sure, but I think part of this composition was used as the theme for Jack Horkheimer's "Star Gazer" on PBS many years ago.
What black magic is this

I personally liked the gap
