she looks so soft and glossy and delicate and absolutely georgeous
she made doing braids look so easy, i wish i could do this
I love how she didn't even try to give some excuse about why she didn't shave...she didn't even address it, because it's not something to be ashamed of ... shows how comfortable she is in her own skin
she's literally amazing, I strive to be someone like her
I love her so much and I think that she so cute ♥️ but I don’t think shaving or not has any thing to do with confidence or being comfortable it’s not a god thing.. I think everyone should take care of themselves and shave because it’s not healthy.. I respect your opinion I just don’t agree with you 😊.
@@yaranumari5844 actually believe it or not shaving isn't healthy, we have hair for a reason. shaving just became a beauty standard
@@yaranumari5844 Also alot of girls have been shamed for not shaving so the fact that she is didn't even bother addressing it shows she's comfortable. I know you didn't mean harm but it just didn't make sense lol
@@yaranumari5844 Not understanding the link between not shaving and health? Most men don't shave and they are okay. We have hair there for a reason and we shave because of societies beauty standards for women.
HOW DID THEY DO THAT ALL BY THEMSELF PERFECTLY?! ITS LIKE THEY HAVE EYES AT THE BACK OF THEYRE HEAD! WOW PEOPLE WHO CAN DO THIS IS REALLY TALENTED! A-M-A-Z-I-N-G!!!!!!!!
she literally said she uses two mirrors
Epifany Hurdle I used 2 mirrors when I did my braids and it was still hard to part😭 she’s talented

Ally actually, if you google it, she goes by she/her AND they/them
Laila A yea haha but most ppl only use she, which kinda sucks since its better to use both pronouns :)
She’s gorgeous and a talented actress

First video on Vogue that I don’t skip through, her humility is everything✨
The true question here is ,”how can I learn how to part my hair like that?” I can barely make one straight part let alone a hexagon. I am shooketh 🧐
Aka confused
Girl, same! I can't part straight for nothing, muchless all this
this is me.
Takes lot of practice
amandla is such a kindred spirit . she has her feet on the ground , she knows who she is , she works so hard to accomplish everything she wants , she is an activist , an amazing actress , an insanely strong woman ... i mean girl ... she deserves all the love in this universe . also thanks amandla for being the best Rue , Ruby and Starr we could have asked for . ilysm

her hair, her skin, her eyes, her smile, her brows. everything beautiful. so down to earth as well. felt like I was a friend she was chilling and talking with.
No way they put the product names in the comments 😳❤️❤️ we did it !!! now bring zendaya

Yass we need queen Z
mia Marleen zendaya and shay Mitchell and I will be happy lolol
i would love to see blake lively do one of these she's honestly so adorable
I love how in "The Hate U Give" She wore box braids the whole movie. That's literally what I would do because I don't have time to be damaging my hair for movie rolls lol
Me: does a 32-step skin care routine, still gets zits
Amandla: washes her face, clear skin

For real I keep trying to tell people the products don't help. Just an easy way to steal your money. If you need more than a simple cleansers and natural oils, then additional products won't help, it may be hormonal or diet-related.
SHES LITERALLY A GODDESS
I never thought the day would come, when Vogue would have a video of someone like me doing box braids or any hair style that I actually wear myself. How cool 👌🏽

the fact that her armpits aren’t shaved is amazing.
How
@@themango9644 because most celebrity’s have their armpits waxed or shaved and she don’t do it’s making people feel comfortable about have hair under their arms

😂it’s true
Actors that she has talked to all wear wigs and weave to preserve their natural hair. Honestly it takes me back to Kat Graham's Vouge routine bc she said Hollywood doesn't usually embrace natural curls. Someone needs to change the industry, it's outdated.
What do you mean by weave to preserve their natural hair?
Yeah they really don’t unless it’s very loose curls but I seen some woman with loose curls and they still make them wear a wig
i cant part for the life of me but she was able to do them standing up without a break😭
Vogue needs to stop acting like they we're all BLM because they were not. However we see your energy the last few weeks with added more people of color. Keep that energy. Not just while it's trending. ✊🏼
Mmmm I don't know I've seen a lot of the African super models over the years like Halima and Adut when they were on covers. I have also seen Tracee Ellis Ross, Doja Cat, Jackie Aina and Nyma Tang Ciara, over the past 2 years. In fact they were the two who got me watching.
