Amandla: *says a lot of interesting and intelligent things with grace and humor*
Whoever uploaded the video: "Let's put Jennifer Lawrence's name first and make it about the pee story."
Alice Dayton right! Seriously.
Alice Dayton very true and she doesn’t deserve that, but on the bright side this way the interesting and intelligent things she said will actually be heard many more times then otherwise would be the case
Because Jennifer’s name gets more clicks
Using Jennifer's name is click bait BUT it is beneficial and I think whoever made that was smart to do so, more views, more exposure.
It's good for her because it attracts attention from a wider range of people and then they can watch and see the interesting things she's saying as well and get to know her :)
She’s so pretty omg
not interestes.. robot puppet peoole arent worth a life of vullshit
They're*
lightskined mixed people tend to be really attractive.
she is not a robot hush can't even spell "people"
Especially when she laughs or smiles. Truly stunning.
I want her and Zendaya be sisters in a movie.
THIS NEEDS TO HAPPEN
They don’t even look that much alike 😅
I want them to be best friends in a movie
Sameeeee
Just letting u know their pronouns are they/them xx
"If you forget to code switch, you might get shot"
Wow
Kinda wish it was a joke...
Real shit
I've only found out about "code switching" recently-- it's basically the White Voice in Sorry To Bother You.
Witness Me no it’s not. It’s an anthropological term used to describe anytime you switch your tone for a social situation. For example the difference between talking to a professor and a friend. It’s not a strictly racial thing
Does code-switching have different meaning in the US? In my country it’s just when we switch languages mid-way in a conversation.
Amandla, Yara Shahidi, Zendaya, these are just incredible actresses
Amandla not Amanda
Sincere Mimi RN Yara Shahidi is my favorite ♥️♥️♥️
porkybelly 1 same shes such a positive person:)
@@waterpenny6907 Yes.Taking NOTHING away from them because all three of them are wonderful, I don't want the only "acceptable" representation of black talent, allure and screen presence to be biracial women. That's just another way of saying that women who are "just" black are lesser than.
Those are just the girls they put in everything to white wash the black community. I don’t agree with this comment

Yara Shahidi too!
All black people know about code switching. Every job interview I've ever had I had to put the code switch on 😂😂😂
Whenever my mom had guest over she would code switch.
@Mengpeng You ain't really black then 🤷🏿♂️
@Mengpeng depends where you live. I think you are lucky not to know. But just for your personal knowledge its basically that you have to act different around non-black people. Its basically saying that acting black is bad/dangerous and that you should "act white" in certain places like work or school.
What is code switching?
@@lenasanz5544 When you have to tone down your blackness around white people so you can get the job, or so the cop doesn't murder you, or to not be harassed by racist
She could play cleopatra
oml she definitely should
@@feena9241 yes because they never take black people and make them white in movies... if you didn't get my sarcasm there it was thick
Woooow you're right
Any of you guys met Cleopatra in person to pinpoint her actual race? Besides who isn't biracial anymore, there's been so many sub-races throughout history that everyone is mixed in one way or another.

at 3:45 does Jimmy say "Let's talk about your boobie?"
Rasmus Sjöberg it sounded like it didn’t it 😂😂
I swear he said it though
Well they were talking about boobs right before that 😂
I LAUGHED AT THIS COMMENT
Omg he absolutely did 😂
So. Basically almost actor and actres from Hunger Games Academy being so success in they're acting career 😂😂
Parameswari Primadita good on the casting director and Gary the director of the first hunger games who truly wanted to make a sophisticated dystopian film that looked like a Oscar friendly film. That’s why so many good young actors who weren’t just young and boy were casted and many of them went on to have successful careers ☺️
I’m sorry, could you repeat that?
3:40 after she talked about Jennifer and Jimmy said "let's talk about your movie, i heard "let's talk about your booby" and i was like what?! 😂
It bothers me they didn’t mention the novel at all, which this film is quite clearly based on. The poem was a nice fun fact, and I haven’t even read the book, but authors seriously don’t get enough credit in general.
Omg
The little girl from Hunger Games

The question is, what is there to learn? Where I am from, I never heard someone "learning" to do it 😀😀 you just do if you have to
I mean as a girl there are logistical problems with that though
@@sarahward4378 i guess, but here I understood that the learning implied the technical staff itself, not the location😀
@@LauraDeFeh not really. A few things, but is is not hard.
When she said code switching I was like I do that allll the time! I mean black people do it all the time. We have to though. I love how humble and intelligent she is. She’s an amazingly talented beautiful girl

6:13 what a mood switch w that cute lil sip at the end
Wow! She's so pretty!
Apparently it's very common for knees to go out of joint for females.. mine have been doing it since I was in elementary I am now 31 and I think I need a knee replacement it sucks rocks
It is common with women. It's not a disease. It's symptomatic of having weak surrounding muscles, aka quads, of the patella (kneecap) that allow it to get off its tract. I had this issue when I was 13 really bad, strengthened the muscles around it and now only get twinges maybe three times since and they're MUCH less severe.
Kelli O'Dwyer wow, thank you for the explanation. I twisted my leg in pe as a kid once and now if I move the wrong way my knee with randomly shoot with pain.
I didn't get it until I was an adult. For me, it is related to me getting unexplained weak ligaments. Throughout my body my ligaments are just weaker after having my last kid. No idea why. If I sleep on my back my leg tends to slightly hang over the bed, then the knee slips. So horrible. Or moving my leg the wrong way also causes it. ugh
I can't sit indian-style run or bend my knee and twist my foot in a certain way ... and the docks would not take an x-ray while it was out of place... when it happens my leg is bent and I am held down and they pull it back straight... I've had a C-section gave birth to twins naturally but knee ..pain that I wish on no one
My knee started that at 12/13
She is so well spoken, so beautiful and soo talented gosh she is perfect!!
'that wasn't funny' - finally someone called jimmy out 👏👏

Wow this is the first time I can actually say ‘I feel so old’ and relate to it because I literally remember when hunger games came out and watching her as this little kid and now she’s grown up and I’m only 16
She’s so pretty
Wow!!! She has a Xhosa (South African language and partially spoken in Black Panther) name.
Its xhosa, ndebele and zulu. Similar bantu languages. But the name isn't Amandla. Its usually Mandla. Her name translates to The power/the strength as opposed to the just strength without the 'the'. Amandla is also the motto of the Anc l think.
Actually Amandla means power particularly, the power or the strength ! However Mandla also means power it depends on the context in which its used. For instance Mandla is usually given as a name to someone which is really short for Amandla . Amandla on the other hand is usually used in a sentence, to make a statement or as a reference to someone or somethings power. For example unamadla - he/she has power or is powerful.
@@patriciazandilencube4597 Amandla... Is "power" in Xhosa, mandla is a man's name
