Hi fellow Marylander! I’m also from Pikesville, this was shot in what’s now Valley Gate where I grew up. The mansion is now a connected series of townhouses and other houses were built up around the manor
Putting the scalpal in a candle flame to sterilize it is really funny, because you'd know if you've ever put anything at all in a candle flame that it burns very dirty and ashy, the scalpal would've been covered in black soot
Also a good rifftrax if you haven't seen it. But I too wanted the Curtains to go with the Windows. We need to decorate this house on sorority row somehow!
I always get excited whenever I see something that was already on RiffTrax. I get doubly excited when I see it’s been on both RiffTrax AND The Last Drive In. Here’s hoping Contamination is coming soon!
I saw the Rifftrax version of this a few months ago. It's better, and more tense, than I expected. I also like that the first thing the final girl hallucinates is a couple ballroom dancing-I was reminded of a similar sequence from "Hush, Hush, Sweet Charlotte."
Is this a new episode, I feel like Brad reviewed this before and I can't imagine anyone else I watch covering this movie. If not this is helluva deja vu.
Well, this is one Slasher Movie that I never heard of before until this review from the Cinema Snob, but I gotta admit that it was quite hilarious to hear Cinema Snob's reactions and opinions to it though, much like his other reviews as well
This low budget 80s slasher movies feeling more authentic than modern slasher movies. My explanation is that the directors think that they movie can be like The Room or Birdemic. But they forget the most important part. This movies at least tried. And this is why so many low budget movies nowadays failed.
LOL, I remember when you did "Don't Go Near The Park" and "Don't Go In The Woods...Alone!" back in the day. Also, "Don't Answer The Phone" and "Don't Go In The House" were two shitty horror flicks I saw back in the late 90s!
I was genuinely expecting the opening spiel about dangerous houses to end with, "...and don't get me started on Hugh Laurie!" But segueing into the topic of the review was a much smarter idea.
What's even funnier about the resemblance between Harley and Eileen is that they both had roles on Santa Barbara as sisters-in-law! Soaps are another place you get your pimp hand, er, I mean face slapping practice.
I sort of liked this one. And i recognized one of the girls as Scott Bakula's love interest in 'Necessary Roughness'. That movie is a guilty pleasure of mine. It might not be 'good' but I enjoy it. Cast go a long way toward that.
It's off topic I know, but I just saw that on Amazon Prime there's a film called 'Arena Wars' - its cover is clearly using the style of the Borderlands' main poster. Wow, that's an... interesting choice. I wonder if it will pay off ;)
I saw school spirit in a double bill with Schwarzeneggers commando in downtown San Diego a block away from Horton Plaza. that block at the time was all peep shows, a porn theater and sex shops. good times.
Don't forget her 4 roles on Days of Our Lives at the same time! But she also took over Robin Wright's role of Kelly Capwell on Santa Barbara as the sister-in-law of Harley Jane Kozak!
5:30 Honestly villains are better with nice sounding voices. Case in point Anthony Ainley as the Master or Rupert Everet in... most of his film roles for his whole career.
The remake is ass, and I watched it without context of this movie. . Then I learned and watched this movie before watching this review. . All I have to say is, watch that obligatory remake! . .
Always happy when the snob talks about 80’s slashers
Just an FYI; the apostrophe goes before the 8, not after the 0. It's in place of the first two digits 19.
One of my favourite 80s slasher movies. Finally glad the Snob is covering it 🎉
Wait ... this was filmed in Pikesville?! As a Marylander, I feel the need to yell "Oy gevalt!!!'
Hi fellow Marylander! I’m also from Pikesville, this was shot in what’s now Valley Gate where I grew up. The mansion is now a connected series of townhouses and other houses were built up around the manor
You're all drinking Pepsi A.M. 😂
One of my favorite underrated 80’s slashers, it’s like “I Know What You Did Last Summer” meets “Black Christmas”
Snob has been blessing us with so many horror reviews over the past it feels great.. cant waot for October
I damn near almost spit out my Coke Zero when the edited headshot came in
Putting the scalpal in a candle flame to sterilize it is really funny, because you'd know if you've ever put anything at all in a candle flame that it burns very dirty and ashy, the scalpal would've been covered in black soot
But that's ok, if that's all you have the scalpel will be sterile, just a little dirty. The soot will be sterile too.
Quite true.
The best time of the year for reviews
I Love the " Slicks older brother" reference , that has to go over a few heads. 😂
this is one of my guilty pleasure movies 👍
Ooo I haven't seen this one in twenty years or more. Thanks for spotlighting it Snob!
Good pick! Loved this movie for years. Especially the scene where they're hanging around the pool eating KFC.
Also a good rifftrax if you haven't seen it.
But I too wanted the Curtains to go with the Windows. We need to decorate this house on sorority row somehow!
Was JUST checkin' on what video to re-watch 'ere!
🎉
I always get excited whenever I see something that was already on RiffTrax.

Here’s hoping Contamination is coming soon!
I'm getting hardcore deja vu and MAYBE Rifftrax is why. I don't remember watching it as a riff but I swear I've seen this episode before!
@@ItsHyomoto Same. First time I saw it, it barely resonated. Took me another two viewings just to let anything from the movie sink in.
Hopefully youll cover Halloween Ends this October. Your series of Halloween reviews is incomplete without it.
Was JUST checkin' on what video to rematch 'ere!
🎉

The RiffTrax for this movie is my favorite. I have such a soft spot for it. Does it make sense? No. Is it fun? Yes.
I somehow feel a coziness listening to reviews of classic horror films lol
What?! No King Frat joke, those guys were masters at hiding a dead body, also I apologize for giving those guys a compliment.
I started yelling "6 times" once the girls started shooting like haywired at the pool scene 😅 "SIX TIMES ..IN THE HEART"
Rifftrax did this one and now so have you, yay!
I love seeing all these middle aged “frat boys” in these old school slasher movies. 🤣
20:15 That might be the funniest quip of the review!
Gotta say, for a slasher film, there's a lot of gunplay in this.
Is this a new episode, I feel like Brad reviewed this before and I can't imagine anyone else I watch covering this movie. If not this is helluva deja vu.
I could swear he did too. I wasn't sure if maybe I was imagining it. There are only 2 people that would: Brad and Horror Geek.
Shoutout 4 out of 5 doctors man modern man is a jam
thanks a bunch. love these videos.
Creepiest youtube thumbnail I've ever seen. Thanks for that, Brad
Your review thumbnail is too sexy. 😍
I never saw Eric's face any time I watched the movie
Well, this is one Slasher Movie that I never heard of before until this review from the Cinema Snob, but I gotta admit that it was quite hilarious to hear Cinema Snob's reactions and opinions to it though, much like his other reviews as well
I had to hold off and see this one for myself before I watched your review. I just got done with it, so here I am!
Loving these cult slasher reviews, but I gotta ask, will we ever have another Musical March in September? Or are those now a thing of the past?
He probably forgot again
@@ryanwillson2751
There something endearing about a TH-camr who......just forgets. 😂😂😂

Great movie. So much fun.

Between this and "Prom Night", Musical March in September seems to be Massacre March in September. I'm not complaining.
best movie bloger. from Russia with ❤
Eileen Davidson, who played Kristen DiMera on DAYS OF OUR LIVES.
The comment I was looking for! 😁👍
I was genuinely expecting the opening spiel about dangerous houses to end with, "...and don't get me started on Hugh Laurie!" But segueing into the topic of the review was a much smarter idea.
She not only a Real House Wife but also A Soap Opera actress Young and Restless
"The Bradley on Sorority Row" 🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣
What's even funnier about the resemblance between Harley and Eileen is that they both had roles on Santa Barbara as sisters-in-law! Soaps are another place you get your pimp hand, er, I mean face slapping practice.
No musical March in September this year?
Can't believe you couldn't fit a reference to the J-Horror classic House in that opening bit
"The gradation party"
Description of this video 9 hours after upload 🧐🐢
Odd how fraternities don't get featured in a film like this.
Please please review the 1988 horror movie "Pin"
That title card is seeeexy.
Do a review of Two-Minute-Warning.
I sort of liked this one. And i recognized one of the girls as Scott Bakula's love interest in 'Necessary Roughness'. That movie is a guilty pleasure of mine. It might not be 'good' but I enjoy it. Cast go a long way toward that.

Are you planning on Musical March in September?
AAAAH, yes, the early 1980s, when a gun on campus didn't automatically came with a complimentary full lockdown and SWAT team.
A girl I went to college with was the model for the cover box. She wasn't in the movie. Good looking girl. She was from Baltimore.
I’ve only seen the Rifftrax version of this movie.
Another good review when you gonna do Girls Nite Out
I saw school spirit in a double bill with Schwarzeneggers commando in downtown San Diego a block away from Horton Plaza. that block at the time was all peep shows, a porn theater and sex shops. good times.
Damn that Tile card!
Is there a possibility I can get a print of that please?
I am watching this in my house and I am so scared.
I like the part in the movie where the old lady finds the young couple doing some hanky-panky and totally flips out on them.
This does look like a legit horror movie. And tbh, the remake isn't that bad neither. That's how I learned about this movie. 😊
4 Out of 5 Doctors, yeah!!!
7:13🤣
Oh come on Eilleen Davidson played Ashley Abbott on the Young and the Restless. The jokes write themselves.
Don't forget her 4 roles on Days of Our Lives at the same time! But she also took over Robin Wright's role of Kelly Capwell on Santa Barbara as the sister-in-law of Harley Jane Kozak!
they say they don't want me in
but i will do it anyway
Are we sure this wasn't meant to be a comedy like Slumber Party Massacre? The pool scenes sound like comedy.
And one of my favorite video games stay out of the house
If I’m going to watch a house movie, I’d rather watch the house on the left thank you very much
Hiiii... Hw r u....???
Have u ever heard about.... Sardar udham... 2021....????
5:30 Honestly villains are better with nice sounding voices. Case in point Anthony Ainley as the Master or Rupert Everet in... most of his film roles for his whole career.
I swear if this is some Skullduggery shit…
Are you going to do Halloween Ends?
You said that you are running out of "House" movies to review, right? Well, have you reviewed the 1977 Toho movie called 'House' yet?
What was it with houses in the 80s, they’re always haunted or full of murderers.
Braddddd🫡🫡🫡🫡🫡🫡
Clint Howard is the killer
Are we getting an "Am I Racist" review?
Honestly, I prefer the 2009 remake
Lol I have been banned from X 3 times since starting using the app 2 months ago..... I think I'll just delete it.
I would say you should review “Am I racist” but apparently that’s a great way to get canceled for some reason.
The remake is ass, and I watched it without context of this movie.

Then I learned and watched this movie before watching this review.

All I have to say is, watch that obligatory remake!
