I noticed many cameras are shown on Waze but not on google maps. I was trying to figure out how to report a speed camera to google. Ocean Ave between Albermarle Rd & Beverly rd has one hidden in the dark behind trees. =(
yeah I started to notice that google shows cameras now but I don't know how to report them. And since tesla has a big community they should allow the community to report cameras and what not to the car nav, that would be fun

No black rides in New York :( and no maintenance. The first thing u will have to do is prob change the tires

How much of what you make do you attribute to driving a model 3 rather than an ICE car? Better tips? Higher ride rate? Do you do uberx drives or only the higher rated rides?
I mean my situation is different. This car doesn’t go for higher rated rides so it’s only uberX and tips are a little better, people get in to ur car with a smile most of the time. If I was able to get the Tlc plates I probably would have bought something cheap like a used Camry.
Aren't superchargers not allowed for commercial use? Have you had anyone call you out about your tlc plates at a supercharger? I heard they disconnect you when they find out your using tesla for uber.
When I was buying the car I asked all the questions... In New York since its so different with Uber then any other state u are allowed to charge at the stations. Plus I have free charging. Even if u did Uber in another state I don't think someone would report u, every tesla owner is pretty nice and friendly

UberX , u can also do pool but that’s mostly trash. I just signed up for limo which took me but Uber black doesn’t... if u going for work then get WAV, but if 50/50 then get a tesla cuz it’s worth it and a plus for being able to use it for work
Say I have my tlc license already. How does one get the tlc plates ..does.the dealer do that.or you do it after getting temp.plates?? Getting the insurance and getting on Uber platform? Can you add a reply for this?
Hey bro, sorry for taking 2 days must of missed ur comment. So you take care of everything because it has nothing to do with the dealer. You need to get the car with temp plates and then you can go to insurance broker or uber office to start the process they will tell you how to do it step by step.

I am from Borough Park, Brooklyn. I am also a college student. Now I’m driving a TlC rental car. How do you charge the tesla? I don’t have any driveway. And is it a good idea to buy a used model 3 or model s?
Hey, Im also a student and I got no driveway either I only use the superchargers. I dont think its a good idea to buy a used model 3 mainly because they are pretty new to the market and will usually cost about the same as the new ones. Model S might be worth it but its up to u. I think if u go the budget route then new Model 3 base will be the best since you get all the nice features including the fastest charging and decent battery size compared to used/old model S

@@shujayethossain6554 standard might be good but I know a guy that said he charges 2-3 times a day. Idk how it is to finance a camry or accord but you basically apply and tesla finds the best rate for you from a bank or u can go and get a quote from a bank by urself.

I cant speak for one day but weekly I get 30-70$.

I do 20-30 rides a week. It’s definitely more than what I was getting on a Camry

Yeah New York is worth it but here u can’t just register and work u need to go to school for the license then get taxi license plate and at this moment they closed the registration for Uber in New York so that’s why it’s more 😉
