So basically if you want to be a ritualist and actually be able to use them, you could pick an ancesty that doesn't sleep and can cast them at night while the rest of the party sleeps.
I have thoughts! 5) The funny part is imagining how this ritual would work for unusual diets. Would a leshy team prepare special mirrors polished with sacred oils to channel enhanced sunlight? Would vampires get a person drunk on the finesh wines to give their blood a perfect flavor? 4) My favorite use for Rune Trap is to put several buff spells on a box and have the safety be "opening the box while NOT making a declaration of violence" so you can get like five buff spells while shouting a cool battlecry. It could even be a new kind of treasure to hand out to martials. 3) I kinda wanna make a character who uses this ritual as "plan A" because their backstory is that they sold their Dignity to a devil for a minor boon (they couldn't sell their soul because of a technicality in their marriage vow means it belongs to their spouse) 2) I like the idea of this ritual being a commonly available service with transpirtation stations each housing a staff of ritualists and guards to protect them. Anyone with the gold can get around easily enough! I am also imagining one such carriage dedicating every ounce of bulk to carring as many goblins as possible because it's funny. 1) Dungeon that's just a mad wizard's tower and like 80% of the objects are animated but the tower itself is the dungeon boss. There is also a mimic that lives in the tower but he actually never attacks the party and behaves like a normal chest because of some EXTREMELY funny inside joke that only makes sense to mimics (his chuckling gives him away.) And it's the origin point of my PC fighter (the PC is a sentient sword that can possess its wielder) 0) My favorite ritual? Gonna be 300% bias here and say its my own homebrew ritual to enter's people's dreams like it was planar travel. I'm pretty sure I showed it to you in Discord chat lol
So cool. Still trying to convince my DM about letting me have an animated Inn (a bit bigger than in the vehicle in the objects table, say ... a real Inn) as our moving base of operations. I would even let it be operated by trusted followers. But making it so that it will try to follow you (within reason, and without harm to others) would be really really cool. It would be so much cooler than my portable portal to my workshop ... which I didn't get either (😥sad face!!! 😥). Guess my DM doesn't have the imagination about how such things can have a whole range of positive and negative influences to the story. Guess I should take over AND PICK UP THE MANTLE OF THE ONE TRUE GOD ... ehhhh ... what just happened?
The main differences between the two are that 1. Reincarnate brings you back into a different body with a random Ancestry and Resurrect brings you back into your own body. 2. Reincarnate is 1/3 the price of Resurrect. 3. Reincarnate is 3rd rank and Resurrect is 5th rank. I'd prefer to only have Reincarnate because it's so much more accessible. I'm fine with coming back in a random body as long as I can come back. :)

(*that historically "pagan" meant "country folk" when spoken by the nobility. akin to being called a redneck, or hick, I guess). 2. high magik: is a serious effort to improve yourself, and had nothing to with vancian game mechanics. some might say to improve yourself spiritually? 3. Low magik: is about immediate results. it is the low down and dirty of using magik for a worldly goal. I haven't read the oto, golden dawn, solomon's key, what have you. serious magik. I have read Bob-the subgenui, principia discordia, and Chaos: the making of a science. all fun stuff worth a laugh. ...hail eris. I avoided the IOT... the chaos magik folks and their books. liber null, et al.
