This is the most beautiful song! We sang it on Sunday and I was on the verge of tears but I would’ve broken apart. I lived for way too long not knowing before I became Catholic. So beautiful. Thank you!
Im here because of today Gospel reading. The disciples couldnt recognised him until the breaking of the bread. Lord Jesus help us worthy to see you in Eucharistic celebration
I just listened to this all the way through with my eyes closed, sat down to post that I had goosebumps, and saw that I've been beaten to the punch. What an incredible vocal. There is no topping this rendition of this song.
I know Michael Philip Ward. Had the distinct pleasure of working with him at St. Theresa's Church in the Bronx, NY. We were all totally devastated when he moved away to another church. His work has never been replicated since then. Sheer genius!
A truly beautiful voice singing a song that brings tears to my eyes when I think what it must have meant to the disciples upon seeing the risen Lord that first time. And then I think of what Christ meant for all of us: to be disciples ourselves. Thank you my Lord.
I have been to Adoration couple of times but each time it is so powerful and movement to know that our Lord puts Himself in a vulnerable position just to sit there with us. It is a blessed and loving thing. God Bless from Vandy+Catholic, Gaius
I'm privileged to conduct a weekly service / study group at a home for for the disabled (South Africa). We recently played Kitty's rendition of "Breaking of the Bread" at a communion service and the group was deeply touched. What a blessing!
This is one of the most beautiful vocals I’ve ever heard, I listened to this js bc I sing it in choir and it was stuck in my head. But this was WONDERFUL, I’ll defo be listening to it more
Soul-stirring testimony in song!! Kitty Cleveland's deep devotion to our Eucharistic Jesus is palpable as she sings this song! Let her beautiful voice echo in your hearts every time you receive Jesus in Holy Communion. In the breaking of the bread YOU WILL SEE HIM! God bless you and your angelic voice, Kitty.
They are many groups in Parishes that will gladly sacrifice time to help you bring you back. I am so happy when I got here in Vanderbilt that Vandy+Catholic was here for me.
Kitty Cleveland's voice is amazing. I am hoping she comes out with more music. Her chants are even more amazing as she is the only woman I have heard do chants.

+Brenda Lee Borrero Alberty here are the lyrics, if you're still looking: 1. In the walking on the road, we saw him. In the telling of our hopes, we saw him. In the burning of our hearts, we saw the Lord. At the meal he took the bread and then he blessed it, broke it, offered it. In the breaking of the bread, we saw him! Suddenly our eyes were opened, and we knew he was alive! 2. We set out to find his friends to tell them. We went to Jerusalem to tell them; and with joy we told them, “We have seen the Lord!” And as we were speaking there, he stood among us, blessed us, said to us, “Now my peace I leave with you.” We saw him! Suddenly our eyes were opened, and we knew he was alive! 3. But then we became afraid without him. In the darkened room we stayed without him, waiting for the One he said that he would send. Then the Spirit of the Lord came down upon us, filling us, changing us, giving us the strength to say: We saw him! Suddenly our eyes were opened, and we knew he was alive! 4. We ran out into the street to tell them, everyone that we could meet, to tell them, “God has raised him up and we have seen the Lord!” We took bread as he had done and then we blessed it, broke it, offered it. In the breaking of the bread, we saw him! Suddenly our eyes were opened. There within our midst was Jesus, and we knew he was alive. In the breaking of the bread, he is here with us again, and we know he is alive. Alleluia! Alleluia, Alleluia! Alleluia, Alleluia! Alleluia, Alleluia!

The best vocal of this song, I've heard, was in the Deerfield IL during the Easter 2019. 30-45 sec of the final hallelujah was hearth thrilling

Hi lol
Who knew you were a softy sukatra? :o)
Nice. I watched this with Hank. I bribed him with Cheetos though, to get him to stay. I hope that's not a sin. If it is, this is my confession.
