I hope you'll be able to help witness to many atheists with your testimony. I often discuss things with them, but I struggle sometimes. At least seeds are planted and I try to do like 1 Corinthians 10 says, "We are destroying speculations and every lofty thing raised up against the knowledge of God, and we are taking every thought captive to the obedience of Christ." any tips?

I often catch myself thinking that I was born in the wrong place, in a wrong time... I am a Brazilian born...but I deeply love Celtic Music. Love it!!!!!!!!! I spent 22 days fighting for my life against Covid. But Praise the Name of Jesus and in His Power, He rose me up again!
I survived Covid God is faithful, never leaves nor forsakes us.

Hello friend! Yes I so agree! I spent 2 weeks in hospital in April 2020 with COVID pneumonia and felt God’s presence in the hospital, in the caregivers, and He helped me to feel peace and to get better enough to go home. I was one of the fortunate ones. And music is such a gift from God! We can feel a kinship from the heart from so many types of music from so many places! Maybe it’s from our origins long ago. We’re all connected and music is such a “connecting” force. God uses music in wonderful ways to reach us. Take care and God bless!

Sure I can share a little more. Since the beginning of this year my life has been a downhill rollercoaster. I’ve had physical, mental and emotional challenges thrown at me all at once, testing me from the moment I wake to the time I sleep. The father of my closest friend passed on, soon after my own father became sick to the point that he wasn’t meant to be alive. He collapsed in my arms, we admitted him to a hospital. The last thing I was looking for at this time was love but it came to me in the form a person that has shown me love and opened my mind which was once closed to accepting these things in life that are greater than myself. But even so, the challenges did not stop. The mother of my father had passed on. Times have been tough with family, times have been harder trying to live with nobody able to make a move and be free during this nationwide lockdown. This is just a small compressed version of everything that’s happened but all of this happened to awaken me again, and so it has been done and now I’m awake. My love for music brought me here during this time, by accident I clicked on this song. I’ve had it on repeat for a few days. And another song called 10 000 reasons. I understood this music, the calm and peace and joy that this music brings me is amazing. I am a musician and so it is a language that spoke to me and said that I am loved.

The base is that you have been saved. So don't let you go in the music. Give your live in the arms of the Father. Your feelings are quicksand (my feelings also). You can only rest with Jesus Christ, the crucified, for his children. You have been saved by grace, it is God's gift.

My boyfriend and absolute best friend went to heaven 5 days ago. Jesus has given me the peace that surpasses all understanding during this very sad time. He was greatly loved and is greatly missed. With God all things are possible!

I'm so sorry for your loss.
I started drinking when I was 16. I would drink at parties, but I also started drinking alone because I was unhappy, and I was in a lot of emotional pain all the time. My mom was very aggressive when I was younger, and my brother hated her and so did I. He started hanging out with shady people, he started failing all his classes, he was never home, and my parents fought all the time. I also ran away several times. I was always trying to figure out a reason as to why I was here or what the purpose of life was. So, I started looking at different philosophies, religions, and beliefs. When I was 18 after I was hungover, I got on my knees and I prayed for the first time. I asked if God was real that he would show me he was real because I couldn’t take it anymore. I was crying when I prayed for this. At that moment I felt a presence come over me like a wind. It was barely noticeable, but it was unlike anything in my life I had experienced up until that point. I was surprised when I felt it and I remember saying “what was that?” after that experience I pretty much forgot what happened and kept partying, until my senior year when I got arrested. After my arrest, my parents lost all their trust in me and I was expelled from high school. I was told never to come back. At that time, I felt afraid and hopeless. That’s when I started looking for God, and I prayed that he would reveal himself in my life and that he would give me signs. My prayers began getting answered so consistently that I couldn’t deny that God was doing something. It was mysterious and compelling. I ended up in Church and started reading the bible hours a day. I stopped hanging out with all my other friends because they were continually getting arrested. I was able to forgive my family and myself and to ask to be forgiven. I noticed how at Church people were judgmental and how they formed cliques but were afraid to be around anyone else different from them. It increased my faith because I realized Jesus was not like that and ever since I was young, I saw people as people regardless of who they were. After a while, it’s like I could see God's presence was in my life and then it felt like he wasn’t, and then he was, and then he wasn’t. One day I woke up and felt more depressed than I ever have in my entire life. I felt like I was dying on the inside. That night I prayed, and I said, God, I don’t see my life five years from now I'm going to die Jesus save me Lord, please save me. I was weeping when I said it and when I asked him to save me, I felt a presence inside of me like a heartbeat, and I felt it once like a pulse, and I said Lord please save me and I felt it again even stronger. It was like radiance. When I woke up the next morning, I had transformed everything felt brand new like I was a kid again. All my fears and all my racing thoughts everything was gone. I looked at my hands, and I said this can’t be real it’s impossible. When I looked at myself in the mirror, I saw a different person. I started praying, and the holy spirit became entirely real to me it was washing over me and inside of me. It was total love and peace, and I heard a voice but not an audible one, it was an inner voice. It said I am with you; I love you, I will never leave you, it’s done it’s finished. That was May 3rd, 2009, and ever since then I’ve followed God, I have seen many things change and many things I know wouldn’t have changed without faith and belief. I know what it’s like to be lost to feel you have no hope. Don’t ever think you’re stuck, or life can’t change because it can. My mom is a Christian now, Its night and day. Some of the things that went away during that period were severe anxiety and my addiction to alcohol. I’ve seen and experienced so many things that are miraculous and seen how God has worked in my life. When we ask God to forgive us for what we’ve done and turn away from our sins and wrongdoings and we believe in Christ's sacrifice everything changes. His word says if we confess with our mouths that Jesus is Lord and believe in our hearts that he died and rose again we will have eternal life but not just life after death but abundant life in the present. Our sins are erased not only past, present, and future but our burdens and fears are lifted also. Our thoughts, our minds, our hearts, our souls are transformed and united with God and we know his spirit lives in us. If you seek, pray, and knock you will know JESUS IS KING!!! HE LIVES!

My son is 35 and living your old life right now. I pray for him every day that he will experience what you did. So much anxiety and then the alcohol... and seeking answers in all the wrong places. God help everyone who needs you to find you. In Jesus name.
After struggling with sin for most of my childhood and adult life, I can say that in Christ alone I stand! A few months ago I have truly given my heart to the lord and he has done such a great work within my heart and mind! Sin has lost its grip on this soul, Praise God for mercy, salvation and forgiveness!

I became a Christian 16 years ago, but I kept escaping from God’s love all these years, for my life is full of sins that kept me away from God. I was a lesbian deeply bandaged by the list of the flesh and the pride of life. But I know God is real, for I have encountered Him for so many times, He has saved me from the edge of cliffs for so many times. He loves me so much that though I am unfaithful He never abandons me. I suffered for several years as a believer trying to overcome sexual sin. What took me years to understand is that the relationships that kept me involved in that lifestyle need to end. Only the Lord can deliver you from those burdens. You, in your own strength, cannot overcome those sins. It took me a long to realize that my life, as a true born again believer, is not about me. It about the Spirit of God who lives in me. Its about my Lord and Saviour Jesus that died to save me. Its about my Heavenly Father that created me. Find a strong biblical teaching church with sound Biblical foundation. God Bless Sister. Jesus loves us more that we can ever imagine. Give your burdens to him.
As a priest I say to you that we are all made in God's image, gay, straight, trans, black, white and all the wonderful diversity of creation. What matters is how you treat others and yourself not the gender of those you love. Any of us who have done it know, that using others as objects of our desire is wrong but loving someone selflessly is never wrong and gender is not a determining factor on whether sin is involved - only how we treat that person and others. NO!!! Never. I will include an appeal, but it will clearly state you leave them behind and surrender to the cross of Christ who died for our sins, so that we repent and trust the Lord Jesus Christ alone and submit to His Lordship, exactly as Romans 10:9 says.

I’ve been struggling with fear and guilt. This song brought me to tears today and reminded me of the love that Christ has for me. I’ve despaired, but I won’t anymore. My family struggled but we not broken still a lot of love in our home despite the present circumstances. My testimony - As a kid, I was brought up at a Penn Hills church called "Penn Hills Missionary Alliance". I attended Sunday Church Service and Wednesday Youth Groups basically every week up until my early teen years. I even read the Bible from front to back at the age of 10 (not an easy read for such a young punk lol). I also often memorized Bible Verses to earn my way into Edinboro Bible Camp. I had a lot of fun with all of those experiences. Anyways, my pap who was a devout Christian and the "rock" that held the family together, passed away when I was only 13 years old. I see now that my parents were going to church to please him, not God. Ironically, after he died, my descent into a life controlled by sin started to get out of control. I got into marijuana, alcohol, pornography, and began to disrespect my parents like it was my job. Into my twenties, things only got much much worse. I was a marijuana dealer for 7 years, slept with about 100 women (thank God I don't have any STD's), disrespected my parents to the point of face to face confrontation, lied to people, was addicted to porn and sex, served 5 months in Westmoreland County Prison, etc. Basically every step I took was an assault against God.
Fast forward to more recent times - I was in a 4 1/2 year relationship with an older woman. I truly thought we were in love, I really did. I now see that that was not the case as she lacked the capacity to forgive which is not love. She would constantly throw my past in my face (as many of you are currently guilty of doing). Anyways, she discovered my porn issue and instead of talking about it in a compassionate and caring manner, she attacked me calling me names and even making false accusations. Then, she said something that really told me she was not a true Christian - She said you could fall too far from God's Grace to receive His mercy, which is NOWHERE in the Bible. (Go Ahead, read it. I dare you lol) Now don't get me wrong, women view watching porn as cheating when you are in a relationship. I get that and I admit that I was wrong for my actions. So anyway, she broke up with me. At first my mourning was for her, but gradually it turned into a mourning of my own soul. I was truly disgusted with the person I was. I no longer wanted to hurt myself or others around me any longer. I cried for several hours on my hands and knees like a little baby asking God to have mercy on me. Then I started watching TH-cam videos about how to get closer to God. Then I fell asleep for about 3 to 4 hours.
When I woke up, I saw on my phone a video which I had not even selected! (I was asleep after all and had not physically touched my phone at all). It was a TH-cam video by Pastor Groeschel about "Spiritual Warrior- Your Porn Battle Plan". I couldn't believe it at first! I knew then that God was listening, God cared, and God loved me! It was at that moment that I started to believe which in turn opened my heart to Jesus. I then got on my knees all over again and wept like a little baby asking Jesus into my heart as my personal Lord and Savior. I made one key promise though...I promised to God that I would surrender it all and put Him first in my life above all, even my own family.
Almost immediately after that, I felt a sudden surge of love and strength flow into my heart like a mighty rushing river! It was purely supernatural....literally knocked the breath out of me several times and gave me goosebumps all over my body. I became a Christian on August 16, 2020 - same day that Elvis died ironically. Now I possess love and strength that I never knew were possible before. I am now literally willing to die for my King Jesus Christ if need be....if it serves to glorify His Almighty Name. I have encountered much spiritual attack in the last 2 weeks or so (Satan is mad that he lost the battle over my heart/soul). In fact, even my own family members and former friends have lashed out at me over my newfound Faith. That's okay though because they also persecuted Jesus about 2,000 years ago so I am in good company. Thank you for reading and God bless you all!

Neil, your story reminds me a little of my nephew's life. He did not have as much Christian influence. His parents divorced when he was 5. That was so hard on him. His brother and sister belonged to his mom and when he was with his dad he was away from siblings too. He also got into some porn, addictions -heroin esp. Did jail time dui, petite theft, domestic. He had gotten into satanism, tattoo on right hand. When he was in jail, read book on budhism. Czme out With that instead of Christianity. STILL PRAYING FOR HIM. HIS NAME IS Jason . Requesting prayer!

God not only hates pride but even a proud look but I get christians all the time trying to justify being proud of someone but prayerfully they’ll learn but it makes me proud to know somebody else thinks this way about pride. And of course I’m being facetious when I say I’m proud but I said that to show how wrong it is to proud in anyway according to the God of creation. Anyway more than enough said.
@@nikao7751 so you're saying to be proud of somebody is the same thing as having pride? Not agreeing with you...imo to be proud of means to be happy or joyful about or to be pleased with something/someone - I don't see where that is wrong?
Whereas pride means to think more about you and yourself than about others and therefore not being loving towards others.
Sure, the line between pride as a sin and being proud in the way I described is blurry and we gotta be careful not too be so proud that we forget to humble ourselves before God.

@@phillipgerecke4299 I understand sometimes people don't mean they are proud when they use the word but rather what you are describing but sometimes they mean exactly what they say and my belief is I think we should be more precise about what we mean when we talk. Like I said why didn't the Father say he was proud of Jesus at the baptism and the transfiguration? It's not okay to be proud according to God's word. It's what got into Lucifer to make him Satan. What exactly does she mean she's proud of Christ and what he's done. I'm not proud of what he's done but in awe of it and humbled by it to say the least. It just doesn't sit right from what I know of God's word and to many Christians are walking around full of people pride and themselves. Whatever happened to calling oneslf a bond slave as the apostles did. No today we walk around putting doctor or professor or pastor or priest or Bishop etc etc in front of our names. I believe the big problem is that nobody is studying the seven letters from Christ to the seven church's which are for all the church's to read and hear in revelation chapters two and three. Anyway if you don't have a problem with using the term proud to describe yourself that's between you and God but if one does not really mean they are proud they should just use another better descriptive word. I've heard pastors telling their congregations that Jesus and God are proud of them. Now do you think that God and Jesus are proud of us for believing in him?

After a little while, the word of the Lord came to her and said "That's just his shell. Tommy is with me now." :') She walked into the wake with a huge smile on her face. People were probably puzzled as to why she was so happy. She knew. :')

Forgiven sinners do! If you led a bad life previously, then that makes your conversion all the more glorious. Look at Paul. He was the "chief of sinners", but ended up writing a huge chunk of our New Testament. You've started the race, now finish it, sister. 👍
