I've actually only recently started watching Victory and it's very, very, VERY anime. Definitely harkens back to a simpler time, but it makes me want updated Dinoforce/Dinoking figures. I'm definitely glad I backed this guy, he's incredibly fun to mess with and has tons of modes to display, probably the most display options of any figure I own. I also backed Deathsaurus because I love his design and really liked his character in the IDW comics (shame about IDW Star Saber, that's one of the few things about that continuity I wasn't crazy about). V! V! VICTORY!
Great review as always Emgo. I am happy to live vicariously with this one, I decided against backing it and this helped reaffirm my decision. Seems like one I would transform once and display it for the rest of it's life.
