A video on how to repair torn cloth seat backs (from people getting in and out of primarily lower vehicles) would be valuable to many people. Look at 6th gen Celica driver seats to see what I mean. Getting in and out of these vehicles usually results in lots of friction on the outward facing side of the seat back. Thanks for the information you share!
You sir are unbelievable!!! Every time I watch one of your videos I just can't believe what I'm seeing you are clearly a magician you are the most talented person I have ever seen..Thank you so very much for allowing us to learn from you..
Just came across this video because I freaking burned my nice couch last night. Subscribed for two reasons: 1. You are funny. 2. You fix things pretty good.
Incredible! Great videos. My old Jeep is going to benefit from your how to vids. From scratched rims (4 wheeling on rocks) to a torn back seat (kids say it was the dog), these are great for keeping old vehicles looking great.
I am SOOOO happy I subscribed to this channel. So many intelligent ways to fix these cosmetic faults in cars. I used Sweet's method to remove a paint scratch (after getting my lazy old fat touche off the chair) in my car's paintwork and you cannot tell where the scratch was now...it was a fantastic method and I am so thankful to these guys putting up these "how to videos"!!! This method of fabric repair could extend to a favourite jacket or pants if you think about it. All you'd need due is to put a piece of iron patch behind a clothing hole and then follow the directions given here and you'd have a decent repair. As far as my cars go I always use sheepskin covers to protect my seats. Then you don't get these nasty holes.
Do you have one for a dashboard? I have the piece for the dash, I guess just some good glue and dye maybe? It's a foxbody mustang with a 2004 cobra dash and the door handle rubbed the dash and took a chunk out... TIA
When you get to the adding fibers stage try spray adhesive, taping or blocking off any area not to have fibers applied. Special care around repair area when removing tape. Spray a couple light coats. It lays down smooth eliminating the lumpiness of the glue.
G'day ...Amazing ..I have a 2008 Ford Falcon XR6 with a discoloured section about the size of a 20 cent piece that catches my eye all the time.. The blending in fibres method is pure genius..The XR seats are very distinctive and black..THANKS...Cheers Rod..
And now I washing my car and my motorcycle and I remember your video about how to wash your car until your car become a clean and look so amazing. I watch your video. And I wash my car and my motorcycle and the result is very amazing. Thankyou.
Great how to video. I used to use carpet shavings to hide cigarette burns on carpet when I was younger, dumber and smoked. Now I'm older and still dumb but at least I don't smoke anymore! Thanks for the video and Thanks I do appreciate it and am very glad you are here with me...lol
Thank you for the reply. Ive worked on cars as a hobby or living most of my life except as a millwright for a while. Your repair is exactly as you say it is. Not expensive and is acceptable. Good thing for us do it ourselvers. Nice to see a video live up to its content.
Thank you for uploading! I have a little hole in my drivers seat I've been wanting to fix for a while and never knew how to go about it. We'll know I know! Once again you saved me money. You guys should make people pay for this advice haha!
I did a similar repair to the felt-like covering in my trunk which had been gouged out by something. I cut a piece of self-adhesive velcro (soft fuzzy side) to match the hole (about the same size as in the seat tear in this video). Put it in place and rolled over it with a small roller, applied some black dye to it, fluffed it up with a small brush and it's a really good repair.
I’ve seen some DIY videos on how to patch a rip on you car seat I’d say this one tops them all. Perfect attention to details and that loop view is for pros only 🧐🤓😉Great job my man
1st time viewer, and after watching this video... I am now a subscriber. I've never seen this done before and this video was real clear on how to get good results. Thanks for the education session man!
All your videos are amazing, informative and I learned so much from em. Sincere thanks and greetings from Cologne, Germany and: keep up the good work or as we say in German: weiter so!!
great video, i like it and now i learned something new, glad i found your channel, i like messing with cars to, and you right sometimes people don't have that kind of money to buy new so it helps knowing some tricks to save you money by repairing it yourself, by the way the repair looks amazing, would never think its possible to repair that, now if i can only find a video on how to do leather seats or venal seat cracking fix, thanks for the video i will check out more of your videos

Hello Squizzy your last comment did not come through correctly on that ceramic product but I can tell you we have not tried it and would be willing to do so. we will see what we can do for you on that.
Hey, I am a huge fan of your videos. I've been watching youtube videos for a long time, and you are the first channel I've subscribed to. :) Do you have any tips for repair a hole in a leather seat?
kyle you are very welcome here and thank you...leather is a totally different animal, you need a repair kit for that you can get those on ebay...we will try and put one video together for you. :)
He told you... look under seat. Many times the factory leaves a nice chunk of the fabric overhanging under or inside the back of the seat. Just measure sparingly and cut what u need.
My Friends **** WE HAVE STARTED USING A NEW ADHESIVE THAT WORKS EVEN BETTER SEE IT in the "SHOW MORE" of the video description :)
what adhesive? the link in the description is for "H.D. Leather and Vinyl Repair Filler Compound" ... is that good for fabrics??

A tip for glue longevity is to refrigerate it. We keep crazy type glue, activator and plastigauge in the frig. Takes up less room than beer too.
LOL mtwseneca, that was a good one and thank you very much for the awesome tip :)
Wonder if this would work on a sofa tear?! I’m impressed!

How could I fix a small little puncture in a leather seat?
Blessed.2.Teach.4.God here is the kit we use for leather amzn.to/2Bybffi it works very well can very easy to use :)
Thank you so much!
Would love to borrow your expertise for just a moment and ask your thoughts, opinions, insights, advice, and/or recommendations re: a 2000 Lincoln Town Car (114k) ...Would mean alot coming from you.
P.s. Suspension already converted.
Blessed.2.Teach.4.God well not much to say really on that lincoln other than they are very dependable and if it has the 4.6l in it you can't get a better motor...if you take care of it with high quality full synthetic fluids it will last you for years and years if you live in a no rust area of the country then you are all set if you do then you need to keep it rust proofed thanks mike
wow great job ..money saver for us here at the shop ..thanks.
Thank You very much Outlaw
To my mind this is the ultimate fix because the seat is still original. There is so many things that can be done to tidy an old car. Best of all you still have your money that you would otherwise spend on a newer car.
Andrew you nailed it....could not have said it better Thank you very much glad to have you with us )
