One video of Diana's, in my sight, is a total masterpiece the like of which I don't remember ever seeing before in my long life. It's a must see for anyone that loves singing with unending emotion. The background of the song is essential to know. The title of the song is "Ornery (or "Fastidious" or "Finicky") Horses". The song has nothing to do with horses in reality - the horses are being used as a metaphor for life. The stress of her names is on the middle syllables, AH and DEE. If you pronounce her last name as Uncle-DEEno-vuh, that's close enough for practical purposes.

Почти все мои комментарии были удалены (но почему-то не все). Через несколько дней они начали снова появляться в прежнем виде ( но тоже почему-то не все). Надо всё-таки понимать, что это не наша платформа - и они в любой момент смогут сделать всё, что захотят. Имеют полное право. Скорее всего, этой площадки для общения не станет уже к концу года: информированные авторы телеграм-каналов говорят о приезде в Россию большой группы китайских специалистов по блокировке интернет-ресурсов, в том числе, и VPN-сервисов.

This was a tribute was released on Jan 25th this year to celebrate what would have been the author's 85th birthday if he had lived. Diana and Brandon Stone carefully revamped this old song by Vladimir Vysotsky and brought it right into the present day. The really sad thing is, the lyrics are as relevant today as they were after the great wars so long ago. Such a beautifully sad song! Great reaction guys!

The background of the song is essential to know. The title of the song is "Ornery (or "Fastidious" or "Finicky") Horses". The song has nothing to do with horses in reality - the horses are being used as a metaphor for life. This is not atypical of Diana. She has sung several songs akin to this - "Кони привередливые" (Ornery Horses), "Журавли" (Cranes) and "Так не бывает " (It Can't Happen) are examples. If a song warrants that she use her full range and power, she'll use it. If a song doesn't require this, she'll adhere to the song's mood. As they say, "sometimes less is more".

It was the first Vysotsky song she had performed. Subtitles are a MUST for this, before and after the song has ended. This is just an emotional masterpiece, a metaphorical song of a life ending too soon. A must watch.
