I pray that you and baby are safe and healthy through the rest of pregnancy, delivery, and recovery! As a first time mom myself who gave birth 3 months ago, I just want to say that I hope you can give yourself grace during the next coming months. Being a mother is the most amazing thing I've done in life but it has most definitely been the most challenging at the same time. If your birth doesn't go as you plan, you are 100% allowed to grieve over that and over time you can hopefully accept that everything went exactly as it was supposed to for your baby to be born. I had an unplanned c-section after hoping for an unmedicated vaginal birth. I also want to say that "baby blues" and postpartum depression are very real and something that in my case, no one warned me about in the slightest. Please research this if you have the time and prepare yourself mentally for the extreme hormonal shift that is on it's way after birth. Again, you have to have grace for yourself. Things will seem so hard and overwhelming at times and you may even feel regret at your lowest moments. But I promise it is all temporary. Hopefully you have an incredibly joyful postpartum experience, but just know that you aren't alone if you find yourself struggling. All the "negatives" aside, I will say that I'm beyond excited to do it all again and bring another beautiful soul into our family one day. Congratulations mama and I wish you and your family the absolute best. ❤

Oh, this video was sooo healing for me. My first 24 hours with my baby girl were nothing like that. It was stressful, painful and lonely, as my baby was taken away from me for the first night. And my way back home from the hospital was so much different, it was full of fear and pain. Your video brought tears to my eyes, but in good way, in a way it gave me hope that after a traumatic experience there is always a chance for a healing one. I’m so sorry. My first born birth went perfectly natural, When it came to my second born, it was very traumatic, I had him natural to, I was shocked when I had to leave my baby behind for 10 days!! I also had sever PPD!! When it came to having my 3rd I was so afraid, I switched Dr.s I talked to him about my fears, he followed through with my concerns, I had wonderful natural delivery with no fears or trauma. Give yourself some grace and know that every birth experience can be different. Good luck with your journey 😊

I’m so glad you got this amazing birth. I think the hardest part of a VBAC is the thoughts ‘can I do this’ and you totally smashed it. I had a Vbac last year and despite having blood loss I didn’t even notice it because I was soooo proud of myself for my Vbac! Enjoy every second, you don’t need reminding how fast it goes ❤️

I'm 35 weeks pregnant and soooo excited for this moment. Right now baby is frank breech but he's been moving quite a bit the last few days so hoping he is finally moving into the head down position. I'm more so scared how my almost 4 year old will react becoming a big brother, hopefully better than me who was not a fan of having a sibling. He loves babies in general, even tried to snatch a friend's two month old from my arms when I held her. Welcome to the world Anna Beth!
What a lovely big hospital room you had. Honestly the one I was in was hardly any bigger and there were five mums and five babies in there! I hardly got any sleep because of other people’s crying babies and midwives talking to other mothers in the middle of the night. Luckily my next baby arrived super fast at home so we were straight into my own comfy big bed.

I'm more so scared how my almost 4 year old will react becoming a big brother, hopefully better than me who was not a fan of having a sibling. What a lovely big hospital room you had. Honestly the one I was in was hardly any bigger and there were five mums and five babies in there! I hardly got any sleep because of other people’s crying babies and midwives talking to other mothers in the middle of the night. Luckily my next baby arrived super fast at home so we were straight into my own comfy big bed.
My daughter was born last week and I just love watching your videos while snuggling my newborn feels like we are doing this together🥰

My first born is a few months younger than William and was born with no preparation at 32 weeks. I am pregnant now with our second and am so hopeful that I as well get to experience the beauty and joy of the days after birth with the next one. Unknowingly your vlogs of your nicu experience we’re a small window into what I was months away from experiencing… the confusion heartache and longing included.
I hope this time is a window into all the grace and joy I will get to experience in a few months
