I know this is almost a year old, but thank you so much for these Sky Factory 4 tutorials. I haven't been in modding for several years, but suddenly got the itch for modded Skyblock and went for it. I was so lost with all this new stuff until I came across your tutorials.

For people who have issues with the recipes not showing up in JEI. Then open to LAN and enable cheats. Then copy in this command:
/function triumph:non_pacifist
That should fix it
Wow, this mod looks awesome. I've always loved mods that allow you to craft the random loot drops by just killing enough of the mobs, but this is going a step further than that. This will make a lot of the mob grinding so much simpler. Loving this whole modpack in general!
These tutorials have litterally been my life line
The recipes of the data models look like they have changed over the different versions. The recipes also dont show up in JEI anymore. You can look them up on the guide and can still craft them, but they wont even show up as a craftable thing on a table. But you can click in the crafting grid to get the crafted item out and it will (probably) pop up. Just an FYI for other people having the issues. Came here from rooster teeth.
if that still does not work for you try the stone craftingtable and klik in and out

dude! I was looking for ages on how to start getting inferium essence, and had no idea how. Saw this and thought "hey that looks pretty cool" and BAM there it is! Thank you so much! I'm new to SkyFactory so these tutorials are a godsend! :D
Ay you can just straight up kill mobs to get it, also you can't really do inferium stuff until you get prosperity saplings

The Mob Masher counts things as player kills. Does that mean that I can speed level the Data Models?
Unfortunately not. They only level in your inventory.

this was a huge help! there was one problem though, when crafting the simulation chamber nothing happened, i had all the items it just wouldnt pop up

i tried crafting zombie data but it didnt work, so i checked JEI and it didn't show me anything, only data models i could craft were android and dragon. now i cannot get glitch infused armor. :(

I wrote everything down, checked it 4 times... still not getting the Simulation Chamber...

i'm having trouble with the Simulation chamber..... the item is in JEI but nothing happens with I click on it. I tried the recipe from the video and it won't make the item. Kinda at a lose here. The only Data Module that has a recipe is the Enderdragon as well.
Solution Found: have to type in /function triumph:non_pacifist and it fixes the problem

The same thing happened to me. If it still happens to you and you did not find the solution, I will tell you here: in the game, with the active cheats (otherwise you can open them on LAN by activating the cheats) and put the following text in the chat:
/function triumph:non_pacifist

Step 2: Set "allow cheats" to "ON": i.gyazo.com/58feab5694be411cb46176800dfa52d8.png
Step 3: Press "start LAN world": i.gyazo.com/9e06b1265c5a4f5806c904dfe9f7edb3.png
Now you opened your world in LAN with cheats allowed.
Step 4: Open chat window and copypaste "/function triumph:non_pacifist" without quotes.
Step 5: Enjoy.
If you want leave from LAN to singleplayer again, "save and quit" in the game menu, and rejoin your world.

i cant craft data models for a specific mob, i do the same exact thing but it doesnt work (spider data model)

It’s possible it may be locked behind Prestige points if you are playing Prestige.
@@OnlydravenGaming I'm not brave enough for prestige mode. Your vids are the only reason I've gotten as far as I have.

When i use sinple generator, it always says "Cant begin simulation". How can i fix that
Your Channel has been a huge help for my first skyfactory play through!, I have a question about the generator. Right now it doesn't output enough energy to keep the deep mob farm going, i'm using the upgradable gen + 4 speed modifiers but it's still not enough? what do you recommend to use to make enough power?
I really recommend moving into solar as soon as possible. The upgraded solar panels can produce a lot of power. The best thing is a Fission reactor but solar can sometimes be a great step until you have the resources for the reactor. Connecting the solar to batteries will also allow you to build up extra power throughout the day.

How do I get the ender pearls?
Nvm, first you throw a diamond block off the edge, second you do /gamemode creative and lastly grab 8 ender pearls
this video has helped a bit but for my sky factory it doesn't let me craft the simulation chamber or most of the mob data model
is it cheating if i start a game in creative to catch up to where my survival world was and then just keep it in survival mode? it would mainly be for building my structures.
There is no cheating in solo Minecraft. As long as you’re having fun then you are fine! 😊

I know it's been out for awhile but for some reason most of the recipes are disabled, i can only make like 5 of the recipes. I don't know if know what the problem is or not, but if do what do I do.

They do not. Since the data model must be held in inventory to receive do and there’s no way to connect them to the spikes.

It’s a glitch sadly but there is a way to fix it. I posted a tutorial a couple weeks ago showing how. I’d post a link but sadly I’m not home right now.

When I open up the Deep Learner UI I can't put the blank data modules in it. Is this a bug or something?
WhatNOTtoDo Blank modules won’t work. You have to make the specific mob modules first.
I'm playing Sky Odyssey and my data models aren't leveling up. I have them in my hotbar and i'm using a diamond sword to kill the zombies and skeletons (i have a data model for each). Do they need to be aggro'd to count or something?

How do you make a self aware keystone though.
You need to have your data model leveled up to self aware and have it on you when syncing your key to a mob.

Early game your best bet is a mob farm. Once you have a few you can make ender seeds.
Take a shot every time he says "soot covered red stone"

You actually don't put a mob in the key. You just have to kill the mob while having a key in your inventory that hasn't already been attuned to a different mob.
Yes i know but when i kill an android it says it cant be attuned to it
@@hauptsacheclash787 Not all mobs can be attuned for keys. Either Androids aren't part of that, or the key is already attuned. I think androids aren't able to though.

@@burnttoast1821 I'm sorry this is so late, but anyone in the future who's struggling with this, run this command: "/function triumph:non_pacifist". Fixed it for me just now.
If the recipe in the JEI doesn't show up for the simulation chamber run the command /function triumph:non_pacifist it should make the recipe useable again!

This mod pack is 4 years old now and I am just dipping a toe in. A lot of the problems that were mentioned in other comments must have been patched. Having said that it is still not very intuitive and if it wasn't for you very clear videos I wouldn't have made it very far. Thanks ❤

For some reason, when I try to craft the Sim Chamber, it outputs 64 diamonds. (I know the recipe was changed). Wondering if I am missing a prerequisite.

I’m trying to get a tritanium spine and it says to use a loot fabricator with pristine android matter and I did that but a spine isn’t showing up in the loot fabricator... anyone got any ideas?
In the Loot fabricator there is an arrow at the bottom. Pressing that will show you more options, including the spine.
Anyone else having issues where the model won't come out of the deep mob learner? I have three self-aware models that I can't remove to put in the simulator..
