Tynemouth - Storm Babet damage to Tyne lighthouses - October 2023

On the 20th of October, Storm Babet hammered the North East coast of England. This storm was unusual as the the winds were coming from the east, rather than the usual west, the two Tyne lighthouses took the full brunt of the huge waves it created.
