    excellent drone footage of both piers hell of a lot of damage to the pier and light house and tynemouth pier take some time to repair all that damage

    Saddening to be honest, something most of the town holds close to their heart. I really hope it gets restored back to its former glory.
    Hope you can get some closer footage once the sea calms 👍🏻 brilliant video

    Some great footage. I'm always a bit weary about flying my drone over water, more so when coupled with wind. What drone are you using here? I did a Tynemouth video myself back in August. Thanks for sharing.

      Bullshit that pier has tested the most adverse conditions, but like everything, time catches up. The brickwork around the pier proves it. Sadly, things aren't built like that, I mean, the way they are today!!

    That is unbelievable av walked down that pier a hundred times and the beatings it’s had over the years and this storm broke it 🤦‍♂️🤦‍♂️🤦‍♂️

      Not anytime soon. A full structural assessment will have to be done, including below the waterline to see how much damage has been done.

    mibor damage pointless restoring it its not worth it unless they build a dock for migrants in the dingies
