Amazing that you added more detail than most main stream you tubers! Freaking awesome lol I'm having to rebuild my 03 accord 6 speed trans due to some issues but this video was a great explanation into how to go through and through everything. There's not a lot of info out there on these v6 6speed accords. So I'm having to figure a lot of it out, and talk to a bunch of enthusiasts who are probably the first to ever try most of these things. I really dig what you got going on with your channel and keep em coming! haha I'm gonna be building my accord and my VR4 on my channel, ill make sure to shot out your channel when I'm making my rebuild video. =D

A base LS 5 speed Honda would really benefit with that. Nice suspension with a LSD and a turbo on a non VTEC engine would be good enough for me. Handata too. Especially if you built the engine and transmission w/good aftermarket gears.

Thx very much for your videos, subscribing. Gives me the confidence to do my '08 Fit LSD install. Some hints that my help others:
1) Take lots of photos of the disassembly process to help in the reassembly.
2) Might as well remove gears, etc. from the shafts and take look at synchronizers and bearings. If you are working from the floor like me having to go back in would be very discouraging.
3) Use wood dowels to keep the gears, etc. in order. Just reverse the dowel for reassembly.
One more mention, the '08 Fit engine/trans is in my autocrosser '01 Insight. Love it!

What's the likelihood they come off undamaged and are the bearings on both side of the diff the same?

Good afternoon my friend grate video. I have a question if I have a ctr trans then went turbo can I take out my ctr lsd and install in to a ls transmission? Since you said they where the same?
I'm fairly certain they are the same.
I know for certain the b16a2 has the same size diff
What could happen if you don’t put those watchers over that bearing? B4 setting down the gears
The washers have to be on there, otherwise the gearset will have play in it and lead to pre-mature failure
Ok, hold up. Remove the lock clip before removing any case bolts. I have never had to beat on my S4C b16 hydro or any other b series trans transmission to separate the case??
I normally don't have to use a hammer either. I don't remember exactly why I had to in this instance.
Will any OEM lsd diff fit in a b16 transmission or type r transmission? Are all OEM diff the same ? I know final drive are different.
No the diffs are not all the same size.

I got question, current my B16A SIR-II gearbox do not have LSD.. I’m in the midst of swapping it with the S80 LSD Gearbox.. Can my current transmission axles from a non LSD gearbox be carried over and fit onto the S80 LSD Gearbox?

What part number on the lsd just checking I got the right one for a ls trans
The LS shares the same differential size as the B16A2 (99-00 Civic SI). Just make sure its that one if you have the LS!

I think you have to use a crv specific LSD

Mfactory makes one. It would be same as b16 I believe
so many are victim with that M factory LSD carrier , if you want it , you have to buy with the ring gear and pinion drive as well... so much fun M factory wasting time and efforts ...
What is the “speed ring” called? I looked everywhere on eBay and google and couldn’t find it. I throw away my old dif like an idiot
