There is something i just realize about paul.. i watched his interviews about slipknot about his life but when he play guitar i see him smiling. man this dude i respect him so much.. why you have to leave this world so early. its just sad to see paul smile while playing music. watch him at 1:58

We miss you Paul !!!!! If you noticed after he passed they rarely play the songs he loved to play like surfacing they rarely play or snuff... And when they do play snuff it's a tribute to Paul... I can honestly say when Paul died the band went with him.. We miss you Paul R.I.P.
Bullshit! They played surfacing a lot and but snuff was not a popular song to play as a vermillion pt 2 too etc, so don't fool yourself
RJ Gonzalez surfacing is basically in every Slipknot encore. They literally say “Now for your national anthem”. And Snuff (whilst being an amazing song) would make a concert incredibly boring and kill any energy a Slipknot concert would bring
Gay Series I love the song but it would 100% ruin any pace or momentum of a concert. You couldn’t put any Iowa or Self-titled next to it at all, would be completely out of place
they end practically every show with surfacing...

@@Heisterz Slipknot have their own views for chosing Jay over Roy..but for me I prefer this dude (Roy) as he killed all Joey's best parts of any Slipknot's drumming, including the double bass.Well,it's up to Slipknot's choice to decide.

I remember when i was a little kid this was the first slipknot song i heard, and from then on i fell in love with the band. I was inspired by paul to play bass, and many of my best friends are maggots.

what i love about drummers like roy is that they hit the drums with so much energy and you can see the power in their face :D or taylor hawkins who has that big grin in his face everytime he plays.

It's great to see Paul smiling the most of the Time when he plays. I watched the Lesson for "Duality" and played it on Bass. Now I will start to play "Surfacing" and in the 2 Parts Paul can explain it so fuckin' good.
He was one of the Guy's who said "You wanna play the Song? I'll show you and then you kick some Ass!"
RIP Paul Gray and thank you for all the Inspiration over the Years.
At first I was angry that he died and I'll never see my hero. But then, I realised that it is an honour and a privilege to have Paul as an influence and a hero in music. I feel that my duty is to take further what he did. Even if it is 1%.

Roy pulled it off excellent!he obviously is not Joey but who is!!!He gets mad props for being sick enough to pull that off. I think Paul was even suprised by the look on his face how good Roy did.
