According to our ancient families in Papua New Guinea. All Papua new Guineans common ancestors are the aborigines and original people of the Philippines and its 7000 plus islands. This information is taught in the education system of Papua New Guinea even the President of the Philippines 🇵🇭 knows this history. When he visited PNG a few years ago he loved it that much that he said in his speech he will be retiring in PNG. GOODNIGHT MY PHILIPPINES BROTHERS FROM THE ORIGINAL PEOPLE OF THE PHILIPPINES

I am amased by the mass amounts of history of the Filipino people's dating to 70.000 years ago. While I do not hold any heritage or wield any friendships in the area, the vast landmass and cultures appear inviting for an unforgettable Tropical getaway. Specifically, the historical origins and geographic migration of peoples and how their genetic admixture results in the introduction of new genetic lineages. I’ll be checking out some of your other videos post haste. Cheers from Canada! 😊🇨🇦🇮🇹

It was inhabited by Negritos, the ancestors of the Manobo, Austroasiatic-like people (ancestors of the Sama), and Austronesians (or Cordillerans) in the ancient times. Today, it is where Islam really took root and today a major religion and strangely enough, the place where a Spanish creole language thrived the most even though Mindanao wasn't completely conquered by the Spanish.

In Mindanao is from the tribes of sumaria. When the ancestors arrived in the land of Philippines they are in different tribes now. Take a look the culture and food Mindanao shares almost the same especially the kinilaw. Mindanao became Moro from the arrival of sultan when the war broke during the ottoman empire. That's the reason when there is war between kastila and Filipinos there's no back from Spain as their land is at war also by the ottoman empire and there are more empires came in their land.

It is a great short presentation of the theory of the first people that inhabited the Philippine peninsula. Note that the diverse people and many islands were not yet formed into one nation.
However, who can tell the truth how the diversity of ethnic people of the Philippines originated? The narrative that all the people originated from Africa is a speculation.
As in ancient times, our life and the world is full of mysteries, but at times we amuse ourselves with stories.
A bit of contribution to mythology...
Multiple Gods or gods make more stable and happy supreme divine beings than a single God or god alone. Multiple Gods or gods acknowledge themselves as divine beings more than one, and there are no feelings of insecurity and jealousy.
From history, we should note that the Israelites before becoming monotheists were previously polytheists.
For those who like myths we may speculate one. The word creator when referred to the universe is a human defined concept. Many people also attrubute this creator to God which is also defined by humans.
No actual manifestation or substantial proof have yet been found of God or gods. However, let us dive a bit into speculation of how religious beliefs may have been formed.
Let us speculate a hypothesis of how certain civilizations prefer polytheistic religions over monotheistic religions. “What is the advantage of having many gods over a single god?”
Fundamentally, having many gods increases the chances of survival of the first humans and other living things. Supposing a god is not eternal and is not the creator of living things, but a planter of living things, woudn’t it make more sense to have more gods than a single god put the first living things on earth and let these living things survive and thrive?
How Life and Diversity of Humans Started
Since each god had not brought exactly the same type of essence of life (or seeds as analogy) then some diversity in physical features and culture would have been expected. Thus, we have dark skin humans, brown skin humans, short humans, tall humans, black hair humans, blond hair humans, etc.
The narrated myth suitably addresses some concerns about why diversities exist in the physical traits and religions of human beings.

We have that story in the Philippines that we kids amused...God was so lonely that He molded a clay and created a Man. The first man he made was raw, pale. Then he molded another clay put it in the grill but he overcooked it and became black. Learning from all these the last clay He molded and created a Man not too raw and not too dark and came out a Brown Man. 👨 Not to offend but all colors can be found in these islands due to these years of migrations.

Interesting history. I wonder, do all Filipinos consider all Filipinos as indigenous people of the Philippines or just some groups?
I live in the United States of America and although I’m not Filipino ancestry, a few of my cousins are mixed with Filipino ancestry. We live in southern Louisiana and the Filipino ancestry my cousins are mixed with is derived from the oldest Filipino settlement in the USA called St. Malo in St. Bernard Parish, Louisiana (founded in the 1760’s when Louisiana was a colony of Spain and filipinos aboard spanish galleon ships arrived in Louisiana before the creation of the USA.)

Technically, the vast majority speak Indigenous tongues. And the whole country was under former U.S. borders. Which means they're all or mostly entirely culturally Indigenous, who were formerly under American borders. So even if they have different clans among them which are more or less of an Indigenous heritage than the other, culturally, they almost all speak Indigenous tongues, and the whole region was under American borders. So in regards to their relationship to Americans, they're all Indigenous. Much like how the Diné have many clans of different origins. Some have more Indigenous blood than the other but they were all culturally Indigenous.

You're right. It is possible because when the Negritoes migrated to Northern Luzon from Indonesia via Palawan and Mindoro 50k years ago, they encountered "few" people there (Larena, et als). The 2021 Genetic Study by Maximillian Larena, et als, is the latest study so far and is accepted by most linguists and researchers today, although some do not agree. I think, this video, as narrated by Phet Production, is based on Larena's, et als, 2021 Genetic Study.

I’ve only ever met Filipinos who are vaguely aware of the negritos in Asia. Other Asians deny the fact. I think the name negrito was also coined by a white Jewish man. They were called Ati people in the Philippines. Maniq people in Thailand, Semang people in Malaysia, Jomon people in Japan. All with Afro hair.
And all this migration, maybe we’re meant to migrate like that. Instead today we all mostly dwell in one place, and the only “migration” that’s happening is more mongrelisation.

Any theory that relies on "waves" is doomed to failure...
Human migration is far more complex than such a simple model.
Yes there will periods of population surges and heightened rates of migration, but the flow of populations both into and out of any region is a continuous process with constant mixing... Ironically entropic dispersion models from physics do a much better job modeling actual human migration patterns.

    • @karu6111

And how would they determine "waves" anyway. They have to prove that something had motivated each particular migration "wave" in order to confirm that it's a "wave." It such a copout theory, maybe just lazy wording.

  • @paiwanhan
    @paiwanhan ปีที่แล้ว +5

The timeline of the "Cordillerans" doesn't match the genetic or archeological evidence. The land bridge between Taiwan and China was separated around 10,000 years ago at the beginning of the Holocene. Austronesian expansion didn't begin until till 6,000 years ago at the earliest, and most would say the initial out of Taiwan wave happened between 5,000 to 4,000 years ago. Based on linguistic evidence, Laurent Sagart suggests The very first out of Taiwan wave actually was towards the west, back to Asia mainland, and became the ancestors of the Kra-Dai speaking peoples, before subsequent waves moved south into present day Philippines. Sagart's linguistic evidence is based on the fact that innovations that took place in Taiwan, such as replacing the original word for 5 *RaCep with the word for hand lima, and the fossilization of *RaCep in numbers such as 7 *RaCepituSa (5+2) > pitu, 8 *RaCepat(e)lu (5+3) > walu, and 9 *RaCepiSepat (5+4) > siwa, as well as replacing 10 with *sa-puluq (one, set aside), can be observed in all Austronesian related languages outside of Taiwan, at least historically. With in Taiwan, several languages kept snapshots of the progression of these innovations. Languages like the Saisiyat and Kaxabu kept *RaCep, as haseb and xasep, and didn't share any of the other innovations in numerals, instead going with things like xasepbidusa (*RaCepituSa) for 7. Thao-Atayalic languages only replaced 5, which Sagart dubbed Limaish. Subsequent innovations progression can be seen in Pituish such as Paiwan replacing 7 with pitu, Walu-Siwaish such as Bunun and Rukai-Tsouic replacing 8 and 9, Puluqish such as Pangcah and Pinuyumayan replacing 10, and Southern Austronesian with additional lexical innovations such as *baqbaq ‘mouth’, *qa-sáuŋ ‘canine tooth’, *qi(d)zúR ‘saliva’, *píntu ‘door’, *-ŋel ‘deaf’, and so on. Both Kra-Dai and Malayo-Polynesian descended from the Southern Austronesian branch between 6,000 to 4,000 years ago.
In many Indigenous Taiwanese legends, the first man and woman were also created from a bamboo, such as the Pangcah (Amis) legend of sea goddess Donge creating the first man and woman by injecting life into a bamboo and a rock, as well as legends of the Pinuyumayan, Paiwan and Tao peoples.

It's the same as today. People migrate to Europe by boats from Africa, the Middle East, central Asia. Europe to America, North America to South America, South America to North America. People migrate due to various reasons. Famine, Wars, Economy, Jobs as for our very first migrants the Aetas they end up in Philippine islands to hunt. I still saw them gather in groups hunting for some wild deer and pigs in the 70's. They don't stay in one place. The more reason that these other migrants took over their land and if you have a corrupted lawyer or ninong in politics they just point the land then make a fake map and name it to yourself. The Philippines has now a law to protect these Indigenous people and gave them their rightful ownership of some of these communities.
