This should also be included on main stream media! These people, the Aetas are and always have been a part of our country and should not be excluded from the rest of society. Their way of life and culture should be preserved by everyone.

@anjorbalderrama767 Your understanding of the word "Preserved" in what I've said is too little. Try broadening your understanding of it first before commenting, it might help you in the future.

When she said, "Nag aral ka man o hindi wag mong bastusin wag mong apakan ang kapwa mo Aeta," really hits home! For me, di lang sa kapwa Aeta na naapply, but it applies to all of us! With or without education, dapat same respect anf love ang pinapakita natin walang pinipili!

This by far is one of my favorite episode. The original inhabitants who have been marginalized by colonialism and conventional society, and sadly looked down upon for their ancestry and way of life. This is a story worthy of greater telling, exploration and expansion especially in today’s world in need of greater respect for the environment. Kudos for doing this story.

Grew up always seeing aetas in the streets. Missed opportunity talaga para sa'kin yung di sila nakausap kasi I was given a wrong impression when I was a kid. I regret it now, but I'm glad na mas nakikita ko na sila ngayon sa'min na nagtitinda ng sarili nilang ani - without the middle man - and hindi nanghihingi ng pera or pagkain. Nung high school ako, they would usually visit the school and remind us na "Wag niyo kaming bibigyan pag nanghihingi, para hindi maging tamad yung mga kasama namin."

Binebenta nila yung mga ani nila sa kabayanan at ang nakakatuwa is nauubos mga paninda nila talaga. Hindi sila yung mamamalimos lang sa daan kahit kaya naman maghanap buhay. The land grabbing issue is very much true for other Aeta tribes. These people have been here are one of the first settlers of the country and do not abide by the contemporary norms of land ownership. Their best legal defence on paper is the Indigenous People's Rights Act where ancestral domains and ancestral lands are recognized as theirs... on paper. Politics and capitalism always finds a way to weasel in these lands for their gain. IPs are met with systemic hindrances (education and economics) so we as Filipinos have a moral obligation to give voice to these people. We need to demand a stronger implementation of the IPRA.
    Well-made video Featr. Kudos!

They have a healthy way of cooking. It looked so simple and delicious. That's what I call REAL food (coming from a professional Western nutritionist). We don't need MSG or any other ingredients to make it palatable. It masks the real taste of the food. Over time it changes the taste buds giving the illusion that we need other ingredients. Aetas have clean unadulterated taste buds.👏👏👏

Grabe to! Naiyak ako sa dulong part. Nakakatuwa si nanay, sobrang generous, kwela, at talagang may sense ang mga sinasabi. Nawa ay mapreserba pa ang ganitong kultura kasama ang kaliksan na kanilang tirahan.

I'm miss you so much.... My mom is from Pampanga and I was bless to go home with here back in 1991. The trip to my grandmothers village was far but an amazing and scary experience. Bamboo Houses, wild chickens and pigs, a huge river we have to cross to get to the village... Pumping water and Pooping in a hole in the ground was humbling but nothing socking since I grew up in Hawaii since the early 80's which wasn't that ahead of the PI in some areas especially the farms.

A branch of our government must take responsibility for to protect, help and preserve these special original inhabitants of our country. Talagang dapat protectshan sila sa mga mangaagaw ng Lupa ng mga Aeta saan man sila nammuhay ng matagal. Bigyan sila talaga ng papeles at right to own a he land where they live. Gaya ng mga Aeta sa Borakay!( any na Kaya ang lagay nila roon ng madevelop na ang Boracay- ikinatatakot ko baka misplaced sila at tinaboy sa kanilang lupain! Please report on his too!

In a way, these people are actually eating much healthier than the rest of the Austronesian middle class Filipinos whose diet consist of mostly prcessed food. I admire these native people's tenacity and self-sufficience. They must officially acknowledge by the government to protect their heritage.

This was done so well. Kudos to you guys for presenting the aetas and their culinary culture so respectfully (unlike some youtuber recently).
If I were to nitpick, please do something about the white font baked into your video. Maybe add a black outline for them because they are very hard to read (paragraph and the lady's name) especially on a big screen (tv).
