Just got one of these donated to me by my local shop for a project. A quick google search brought me here. Great review of this little guy, super excited to play with it, even if they said it sometimes auto rewinds or advances haha
Hey! I've found the autofocus to be pretty quick and accurate. It's only one autofocus point so there's not a lot of guessing for the camera to do. It's pretty on par for most point and shoot film cameras
I got the predecessor of this (FF-3 AF) cause I didn’t know that there’s a better unit for it until I saw your video. I’m thinking of selling it or just spend another for this (it’s also a great one, difference is just FF-3 AF has an f/3.2 lens)
That's so cool! Have you shot with the FF-3 yet? In my experience, I have enjoyed point and shoots with the slower lenses (around f3.5) as they tend to be sharper overall
@@eguanzon17 i havent shot it yet but as far as I have seen samples, the camera is sharp as hell (5 elements in 5 groups too like this one). maybe we could trade? haha jk
just got mine, today! super stoked about it. quick question for you, does your display remain on even when the camera is off? mine still shows that i'm on exposure 1 and has all the iso settings and exposure information.
Yup! Your results may vary, but when I tried it I used gaff tape to cover the DX code on the canister and I had issues with getting back cover to close properly. I think the tape was slightly too thick. So maybe try using a thinner tape like masking or painters tape
Just found one in a trash can in the street and I'm so happy your photos are so cool, I'm gonna try it quickly :p
Looking at the Ricoh as an Olympus alternative, thanks for making this video and sharing your results with it!
Of course! It's definitely worth looking into :)
Thanks for sharing, it made me decide to buy this one! i also really liked ythe pictures you took with it. good luck with building up the channel
Thanks for stopping by and the encouragement Victor! Glad you enjoyed my photos and have a fun time with your new camera :)
Great review! It looks like a camera even I might be able to handle. Love the photos too, especially the subway and woman in the Jacket .

Awesome! Welcome to the channel :) thanks for watching. It's a great lil cam. I think I've only had it auto-rewind when I covered up the DX code
ooooh, I kinda wanna give it a try!!! the photos you took look super dope too! :)
You totally should give it a try :)
Nice review, can you turn off the flash?
Hi! Can you share you experience about how accurate the autofocus is and how quick it focus? Thanks!

Oh sweet! Congrats on the pickup! And yeah my display is always on
To anybody that owns the camera,is it normal that the lcd stays on when there is film inside?
Yeah it’s totally normal

Can you override the dx code? Thank you! :)

@@eguanzon17 thank you! :)
People always say they found it for a low price. I then go on eBay and it’s expensive😭
Great stuff mate. We got to link and make a video together!
Thanks Kyler! I'm down! Let's work 💪
Are you Pinoy? guanzon is a filipino surname
Sure am :)
