Always loved that grapple sequence. Matching spin rates instead of tractor beams.

That's basically the OG No time for caution scene

In reality, Delen's next job would have involved cleaning bathrooms on Minbar.

I don't get it! Babylon 5 establishes that dying is the end (sure: The Minbari are convinced otherwise because Sinclair is Valen and wasn't sent to the past yet, when they encountered him and exposed him to a triluminary, which detected who he was!), so why not have yourself preserved for all eternity? Frankly I'd want to be stashed into one of those spheres they use!

Not me. If conscious it will get boring quickly.

No Babylon 5 is semi hard scifi or realistic scifi , it is realistic in that it has and afterlife and allows for an afterlife, or afterlives to exist, throughout the show it is clearly an afterlife is where the dead of many species go, in fact season 5's day of the dead episode, clearly had the spirits of dead characters coming back to Babylon 5 .

Thirdspace established the Vorlons believed souls came
From somewhere. A species so advanced they became pure energy. It would be interesting to ask the First Ones what they thought happened after death.
