Kara: "We made it!.....That's the Ocean!!" LOL. The sheer joy and innocence of these two (especially as she is hugging Nate) is refreshing!! Go rock and glad you enjoyed the downtime under the sun and basking in the warmth!!!
YES!!!!!! I do too!!! I was literally looking in the comments to see if anyone else noticed for fear my brain was tricking me because of how enjoyable all those first videos were! 😍😍😍 Excellent little easter egg. 👏👏
Earthroamer...but would ensure it is STOCKED with a year's worth of my favorite coffees!!! ☕️ I'd prefer a year of off-grid adventures and experiences, while also having the flexibility to resort and rest for as long as needed in the Earthroamer along the way.
If it’s only one year, then I select a resort, but its each year on repeat, then id go Earthroamer and just drive resort to resort and stay year to year lol
So happy to see you both finally visit my island Jamaica. I’ve been a fan for many years now and even more excited that you enjoyed the Jamaican cuisine the best, because Jamaicans are really proud of the food we make and offer to the world. Please visit again and explore more of the island 🇯🇲.
We appreciate an honest queen! There is nothing better than having a full review, especially with travelling. Some people just want to hear the good things, but that’s not real life. I’m so happy to have two channels to watch your amazing adventures!
You realize that the content on this channel is like a masterclass, for travel hacking, right? Nate unlocks the travel hacking down to 4 easy steps to follow, while Kara gives us a tour of the entire resort. ❤ I have used their travel hacking tips for my travel with my familyl. Thank you Nate for breaking it all down for me. Between Mike's writing and your videos, it helps clarify the confusing and complicated steps. Happy travels!
not a masterclass when he leaves out so many details of travel hacking and doesn't mention the word "churning" once. nor does he do the math behind the math that is REQUIRED to earn points.
@@MyChannelVideosz He actually does go over the math, on one of his earlier videos from the original channel. It was after watching that video, that I got my first miles and points. I have been following along, and since I watched Nate's earlier videos, I am able to follow along. It is a Masterclass to me. But perhaps not in the true sense. In Masterclasses, you have to pay to get access to the content, and everything on Kara and Nate's channel is available to their followers, and the information they share is based on what they have done during their travels.
@@valarya Also the fact that the points don't come the instant you get the card, only after the spend requirements are completed. So Nate's step one needs to be done months in advance before accumulating those points.
Just booked this trip for next April! I was only able to get two nights for free because they were 35,000 points a night. I went ahead and paid for two additional nights. Got free Southwest flights with points. We can't wait! Thanks so much!!
You have no idea how it makes me feel when I hear the music from your first videos oh so quietly in the background. Brings back memories from your first year. I still love going back to watch those adventures!
Kara & Nate-It is simply amazing you two have found your calling. Or in other words, use your natural talents and abilities to connect to all of us and provide that same happiness you both beautifully posses for others. Love you guys! ❤😊🎉
I wanted to thank y’all so much. I never even turned on you tube till I was laid off during vivid. Y’all were my first people I adored, y’all introduced me to Eamon and Bec and afterwards kingin it. Thank you 💕
Would love to see a video that goes more in-depth about how you analyse which credit cards to sign up for and when, and how you manage and keep track of your miles and points on a day to day basis.
You guys are so beautifully silly! This was a great video! Thank for sharing your tips, Nate! Kara I’m so impressed with how comfortable you are as a presenter. You have come so far from the early days. I love watching you doing these tours! You always seem so genuine and enthusiastic ❤ Love you guys!!! Xx
Just booked a few nights at an all-inclusive Hyatt property in Akumal, Mexico, for my honeymoon thanks to this video clueing me into what good deals there are out there! I've always focused on using points for flights, but as I've gotten older having nice, comfortable accommodation has gotten more important! 😅 I spent about a half hour today just browsing different Hyatt properties, getting inspiration for the future.
As someone living in the Caribbean customer service is something you would think we are super good at. I'm glad you guys had a lovely time and that the few experiences with people that didn't care didn't phase your entire trip. There are a lot of cultural behaviors that can come off rude but half the time they don't even think much about it.
Love seeing Kara so happy and she should be a guest food judge on the Travel Channel! Thanks for the simple explanation Nate, will pay closer attention to my Daily Drops!
If you were there March 26-30, we had the exact checkin/checkout dates. We did the same thing transferring Chase points to Hyatt, it's the best redemption, at least worth 2 cents per point. We also used a suite upgrade certificate for being a globalist to get upgraded to the Junior Ocean Front Suite. All activities were included free, we did a sail boat ride day, sip and painting another night. The last night was a Bob Marley tribute band playing on the Zilara side. The only expenses we had was an excursion to Dunns river, shuttle to/from airport, sunset couples massage (20% Globalist discount), and tips to the bartenders if you want the top shelf alcohol
Perfect timing, I'm about to stay here in a few weeks! Excellent explanation of the Chase points transfer to Hyatt points to book because that's exactly what I did as well. Great video!
What a hack! I’ve been sitting on my Chase points thinking I had to bank millions of points for something like this. That 1:1 is a score! Honeymoon is paid for before the engagement happens 😂 (Ryan if you see this I’m waiting…)
Just used hyatt points to book 4 nights a Ziva cancun in turquise tower, and 3 nights at Zoetry Villa rolandi. Ziva cancun in Turquise Tower is one of the greatest hospitality experiences ive ever had! Hyatts points are truly incredible!
Relaxing with my midday coffee in New Orleans, waiting for the rain to roll in, and soaking up travel inspo from K&N and the Daily Drop!!! Thank you for the inspiration and education!!! ☕️
You guys are in an AMAZING position to take over the miles and points content on TH-cam. Majority of them teach you how to play the game and even go as far as booking their travels on video. Very few can provide that CC points and miles game breakdown AND have a TH-cam channel with 3.5M subscribers of you actually doing it. More specifically your first or 2 year on the channel.
I am ecstatic that we have a second video this weekend from you guys … I don’t know about all these points and miles, I have the Chase and Venture credit cards and only managed to buy two plane tickets with points , but seeing giddy Kara at the beach is gold ❤
So happy to see that you made it to Jamaica. Jamaica has my heart as well as my whole family. We go there every year sometimes 2or 3 times. We love the people, culture and the sun. We have never stayed in MoBay We go to Negril all the time. I love all of your videos.
It's unfortunate I can't use the tips mentioned in your videos as I am not from the US, but these videos are still amazing and I am happy to get more content actually focusing more on the places you are staying at!
Yes, the gym is the best I've ever seen in a resort. It absolutely sold my dad who's a trainer and avid traveler. He's excited about the wedding next month lol
Kira. I’m going to Nusa Dua Bali in June (work Midwifery conference) and I have a ground floor room that you walk out to the pool. Luxury plus I’m going on my own no hubby and no kids. I’m sure I will miss them, but I have never had time away from them. First overseas holiday in 25 years. Plus a friend is meeting me up with me for the last few days. Plus thousands of Midwives from around the world meeting up, discussing women’s health, birth, babies and midwifery. So excited ❤
My wife and I stayed on the adults only side of that hotel for our babymoon - and it was awesome! It was also just as things were coming back from the pandemic, so not not crowded at all!
omg, Kara is so happy !! this trip was totally worth it :) this make me smile so much. Thanks for all the infos about miles and points, it help a lot to understand how this work!
1:10 I love that we have now gone full circle with the infamous Kevin Macleod "travel day theme": Using it in the very first Tokyo travel sequence, continuing to reuse it so much that we got sick of it, openly shading it until it became a meme, ironically using it as a joke, and now legitimately using it for travel sequences again 😂
You are opening doors for people to unite and explore. You explain the point systems well. Kara, your work is excellent too. This is Fabulous channel content. Thank you! I giggled at Nate picking up the straw at the coffee shop, then thinking, “Oops, Straws Are Bad” and putting it back down...heehee 👏. 🤟guys!
Nate, Nate, Nate...I fly Southwest all the time and love it--have the companion pass. Getting a good seat is easy: just pay $25 for early bird check in. Also, I'm 100% with Kara--Beach>Pool!!!
Love the videos. I have a suggestion- i love the newsletters that come from Mike/daily drop. Could you insert a video of Mike giving a 30sec blurb about some upcoming items in the newsletter or helpful hack within your videos. Maybe putting a face with the newsletters will increase subscribers. His humor within the email is so funny. I don't know if he would be game but thought I would share my thoughts. I love both the new/old videos & emails. Super informative and helpful. Keep up the good work and continue on your fun adventures. ❤
The buffet at resorts is usually always so good and fresh! They have the best fruit and veggies! so fresh! Especially for breakfast it’s always so good
I've been watching your main channel for years and traveling through you guys. But I always wondered why you guys never made it to Jamaica. But seeing you guys in MoBay makes me so happy. Hope you guys enjoyed our country 🇯🇲
Nate you’re doing such a great job with this channel explaining the travel hacks. It’s been very easy to follow and your instructions are great! Keep up the great work and thank you both for starting this channel and all the amazing stuff you guys always do.
Hey guys! love your OG channel and have watched a lot of your older videos where Nate explained the points stuff. I kinda missed the detailed explanations bc I love traveling and hate spending money (I'm also a teenager so it's good to know these things before I have to worry about it.) so I'm so glad y'all started this channel so I can get the points deets and a bonus video every Saturday :)
Having 3 kids I'd prefer the all exclusive trip! But... Luckily they like traveling and always want to go somewhere! I think we could get away with the Earthroamer. They like big cool vehicles, being a firefighter they are used to it. We are doing more adventures this year to get them out and enjoying the US. Today we went to a nature park, played at the HUGE park and walked tons on the trails to see nature and the wildlife. I wish I could do more for them and go around the US and world.
Nate we have a two of your recommended travel credit cards because of you! Thank you for the hacking tips, we flew from US to Europe round trip AND around Europe on our miles. We also travel throughout the US using our points! Thank you! ~Cara ❤ We are subscribed to channel & the newsletter 😊
NATE!! Please do a video that talks about tipping when you are in these different situations like all inclusive resorts, or Japan, or cruises, or any room service, or drinks poolside. I'm American and used to tipping but I don't know what is appropriate many times, even in America. I had to tip in Egypt just to get toilet paper in the airport, that was not in any guidebook!!
Just celebrated my 40th birthday there last month, what an incredible resort…was really hard leaving this magical place. I’ll definitely be back sometime in the near future.
What a fantastic video. This is one of the resorts my wife and I are considering for our 25th anniversary. Very detailed overview of the resort. Much appreciated! You are such a cute couple!
You two are so freaking lovable! My husband and I love watching your videos! I’m convinced Kara is the cutest human ever! Thanks for spreading great travel advice guys!!
Loved this video! I have a travel card already and while I've used my points before, this seems like a smarter way to utilize them. Looking forward to more tips like this! Also - dying at Nate being sung happy Birthday to. I'm sure he loved that 😂
Kara this totally tracks, I’ve never had a good meal at the Italian place at a Caribbean all inclusive. Not even once. Asian & local cuisine spots always rock!
I used to enjoy these videos but now they are so commercialized that they literally get everything handed to them for free - a bit jaded now. There is no struggling or suffering.
Nice! We were cheering since we just applied for our first Hyatt card a few days ago. It’s the best one for using points to stay in Hawaii, which we are planning this October. Everything said here makes so much sense. I’m glad Kara got some beach time. The beach is my favorite place.
If y’all were booking in spring break, I may or may not have been competing with y’all for the standard availability😂😅. I needed a room for 3 and it never opened up in Jamaica so we eneded up going to punta cana. Sometimes I feel bad for speculatively booking but honestly for these high demand places it’s the only way to make the dream possible.
One of our favorite travel credit cards just increased it's sign-up bonus to 80,000 points. So just by signing up for this card and meeting the minimum spend you could earn enough points for three free nights at this resort! Click the link to learn more - s.dailydrop.com/ytd_csp-deep-dive

I have a good question..I think. How long , starting from scratch, would it take to earn a trip like this?
Nevermind....I just read the comment I'm commenting on lol
Grammar Nazi here. "it's" should be "its"
@Wally Kramer Doesn't the Apostrophe claim possession?
@Wally Kramer The sign up bonus belongs to the favorite travel credit card. Like Mike's dog? I guess I could be wrong.
Kara: "We made it!.....That's the Ocean!!" LOL. The sheer joy and innocence of these two (especially as she is hugging Nate) is refreshing!! Go rock and glad you enjoyed the downtime under the sun and basking in the warmth!!!
You guys should balance out your extreme adventure trips with more of these. Kara looks so relaxed and no fear in her eyes! Lol.
I love the musical tribute to early Kara and Nate videos!
YES!!!!!! I do too!!! I was literally looking in the comments to see if anyone else noticed for fear my brain was tricking me because of how enjoyable all those first videos were! 😍😍😍 Excellent little easter egg. 👏👏
Haha I came here to say this 😂
only the real ones know! 😎
hahahhaa i heard it and scrolled down to see if anyone else noticed that's awesome
Came here to see if anyone else noticed it too! haha loved the throwback!
What can possibly be better than 2 Kara and Nate videos in one day. Oh, yeah, getting the tips from Nate on cheap to free travel 😊
You must have a pretty shallow life, asking the above question.
#facepalm
If you had to choose between living in an Earthroamer or living at the all-inclusive resort for a year, which would you choose?
Probably an earth Romer but that’s a really tough decision!
Earthroamer...but would ensure it is STOCKED with a year's worth of my favorite coffees!!! ☕️ I'd prefer a year of off-grid adventures and experiences, while also having the flexibility to resort and rest for as long as needed in the Earthroamer along the way.
Earthroamer would be really fun and interesting! ❤
If it’s only one year, then I select a resort, but its each year on repeat, then id go Earthroamer and just drive resort to resort and stay year to year lol
earth Romer. Just because I feel I would get to see more because I can take an Earthroamer wherever. An all-inclusive resort doesn't go anywhere
Is there anything better than double K&N episodes
🎉❤
No
I had actually just finished rewatching the 100th country documentary when the earthroamer video dropped, then got this as an added bonus.
Really needed the double vid today made my day
No there isn’t 😁

Man, I got goosebumps when I hear the famous intro music 1:11. Good old times!
The swimup rooms are the best there! I had one last year for wedding planning and it totally made our stay perfect!!
It’s the OG travel day music mix during the plane watching and map overview for me. 💯

Just got back from a very similar vacation in the Dominican Republic using Hyatt points, stayed 4 nights for free at Secrets Cap Cana and was amazing!

Loved this video! I have a travel card already and while I've used my points before, this seems like a smarter way to utilize them. Looking forward to more tips like this! Also - dying at Nate being sung happy Birthday to. I'm sure he loved that 😂
WELCOME TO JAMAICA SO HAPPY MY FAVORITE TH-camRS ARE HERE ❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤ ENJOY YOURSELVES
There is no struggling or suffering.
i love both channels!!! i wish there was someone doing the miles and points for someone in Canada!
One of my favorite hotels. Glad to see you go to Jamaica - hope you enjoyed your time!
Love the classic old video music incorporated in here!
Jamaica has been our best vacation EVER
