Hey that’s something I would want to know about right before I buy it. That’s casetify’s biggest problem. I don’t want a case that breaks down in a year. My velvet caviar cases have never broken down on me. I really don’t get why casetify has the gall to make their cases so high if they only break down a year.
It's a marketing tactic (planned obsolescence) to keep you buying more of their products. If it lasts long and stays in good shape you're less likely to buy new ones.

Went to their first physical store in the US, ordered a case, and it was ready within an hour! They also gave a phone charm for each order during opening week!
beads on a string phone charm is $52!? the crazy part is, once your phone carrier drops an upgraded phone & your phone case no longer fits with the design, you’re buying multiple cases all over again. the only thing that stood out to me was the retail space & being able to design your own case & getting it in a half hour is impressive. custom designs typically take a week turnaround time if ordering online
I had my casetify case for three, going four years before changing my device and while the edges did yellow it served it’s purpose perfectly. I work as an engineer. Dropped my phone quite a few times and not once did it scratch or break. Highly recommend these cases (albeit it sucks they heightened their pricetag, mine was round 40 bucks). Idk what people are doing to their devices that they so easily break their cases in a few weeks/months tbh.

$72($61 w/ discount) for Z Fold 5, I hate to spend that much on a phone case but I used Casetify for my s22+ and dropped it a lot from different heights and different impact levels, facing up or down and my phone has no damage! So I would say it's worth it. $72 is still a lot cheaper than a new phone or monthly phone insurance or new screen replacement.
I had my Spigen case for 3 years now on my cheap plastic phone and have dropped it countless times, sometimes accidentally thrown at the ground and it costed 15 dollars. Casetify isn't the only company making robust phone cases, but they do seem to be the only one stealing case designs from other companies.

My phone fell like last week and didn't crack the screen, fell face down but the case took the impact and removed a part of the case. Emailed Casetify the picture and they sent me a new one fairly quickly. They have the 6month insurance thing, and depending on the "level" you are in, gold tier gets 1yr.
I bought a customized case from castify with a pic of my gf. It’s very customizable and can’t wait till it shows up. I also just found it for its drop protection not even by a celebrity
There are many many online retailers with huge customer trust; Farfetch, Ssense, Yoox, Matches, End Clothing...People hate having to shop in person. Even fast fashion like Asos & Boohooman & Zara are doing really well in lower price points with much lower quality. People do NOT want to go to stores & feel pressured to buy & have more errands than they already have; they want convenience & quality at home & many retailers are delivering that.
Casetify does not stand behind their product. When it falls apart they refuse to replace, leaving you with expensive trash. I will never buy another Casetify case again. You shouldn't either.
Tbh hes right, phones cases had no personality back then, there was a tme when customizing your phone was an extension on yourself hence funny and unique wallpaper and ringtones...although over saturated now, people werent so comfortable/obsessive buying thing online and lackmmof internet culture in early 2011, in fact many household didnt have a smart phone
I want to get one for my phone because I always crack my screens even when it has a case and a screen protector. So for me this will be a 1 time investment piece. I will only buy 1 case per new phone I get, I will not buy more than 2 or 10 cases for my phone.

For every product in existence, there is a range of prices for the same functionality. I can't understand why anyone would spend double and triple or 20 times more than I would spend on a car that is supposed to bring you safely from A to B. Yet it happens all day every day.
