- We finally started building our Crown Vic...or should we say "Crown VIP". That's right, we're doing a VIP build on a Crown Victoria and we cannot wait. Here we install the Airlift 3P air suspension, the Work VSKFs, and Vercelli Strada II tires-which is just the start to this crazy build. Wait until the end to see the final result!

I like how they realized that there is little aftermarket support for these. After they bought it like most cv owners (including me) do.
Yeah but lot of Mustang stuff bolts on. You've got ADTR, you have an 8.8 rear end with a mod motor. There's tons of ways to make it work.

I've enjoyed driving my Grand Marquis for 9 years. It doesn't need a thing to be a great car. I started adding some ADTR love because I want to, not because it needs it. BTW, Chris is great to work with. Next will be control arms, sway bars and a Watts link.

Definitely gonna be sick seeing someone build a crown Vic that actually has the means of all aftermarket modifications in their inventory! I’ve been doin mine for ish a year now and I diehard love the car it’s been a pain in the rear a few times but once it’s worked out the car is amazing they drive phenomenal and they are mutli purpose cars for looks or for fun they aren’t fast but still 🤷🏼♂️🤣

That setup looks absolutely phenomenal! If I'm not mistaken all the JDM guys worship them wheels. Wish I had some wheels for my Chaser but I'm super broke. Like on the negative side 😂😂😂😢😢😢.

Really out there suggestion, but why not come up with rear bag mount plates that interface the stock spring pockets like stock Grand Marquis/Town Car plastic air springs instead of cutting using universal plates and mounts? Engineer a true bolt in/minor cutting no weld 4 corner Panther kit. You'd have the market cornered long enough to get Oprah rich 😂

This is what I dont understand, Instead of removing the spring perch, which is what I dont want to do just in case I want to do coilovers, why dont people just make a bracket that utilizes the OE spring perch? Wouldnt that have been easier?
Why didn't you guys just use the bags out of the Lincoln town car? Stock bags, aired out sit damn low, Outcast autoworks sells some drop brackets for the front that lower the front another 1.5-2" while aired up. Find a way to drop the rear another 2" and you could have had an easy bolt on airbag kit that uses an aftermarket tank and controller.
Planning to do the same thing with my navigator, pull the coilovers out, toss the bags back in, get drop spindles for the front and make drop arms for the rear, a compressor/tank combo and a controller and have my truck bagged for like $800 tops.

The crown Vic literally has factory rear air bags as an option. They are $100 each 😅 holy fuck.

I have a 2010 Ford Crown Vic police interceptor i’ve been wanting to do air ride on it for a while. I just now looked at the kit and how much it was. I don’t know about that anymore. That’s insane $3000 i’ve seen other kids for like $600 but the $600 ones don’t fit my car
Personally I would've went with some FR500s or 20in staggered AMRs like I own

I really miss my mom's cvpi she owned that thing for 4 years going into the 5th year a dump truck ended up switching 3 lanes over crashing right into the car draging it down the street luckily my mom was fine. Insurance deemed the car a total loss. Crazy thing about it the insurance did not even give her enough to buy a new one. I believe that the car was fixable because the car is a body on fame and the frame was not damaged so far from what I saw. It very sad and unfortunate.
Put giant subs in it I just don't know where to put them with the generator in the trunk
My car is lower than that thing when it’s fully bagged out, it would be sweet if you could have it planted on the floor when you air it out!

I would have preferred an old school 302W or 351W. My '87 Cougar never got less than 28 on the highway...
And could be bored/stroked to a 347 or 363 if I had wanted to. The 4?6 is nice, but limited.
And for those worried about the stickers on the tires don't, a few burnouts and they will be gone.

I'm planning a Similar build for my 63 Bel air, "Cherry VIP" was my grandma Cherry's car, but I got it as a graduation present, I'd restore it but that's not my style and anyone who'd actually care isn't Alive anymore so I'm gonna build what I want, which I want a VIP car but don't wanna spend current JDM big body money (I want a 13B Lucé so bad it's not even fucking funny) so I'll do some sick shit to this and use it as my old timer pleaser
