Its because you invested during the down turn and stocks behave that way. When you invest long term you dont check it everyday and it will work wonders for you! besides its just a paper loss
@Ronaldo Garrosu - I bought 105 stocks and held at a time. More the number of stocks you buy, more the loss I made. When stocks are 95% and over loss from companies (sivb, sklz, curi, sfix, rdfn, pton ) they recommend you realize its a fraud company. No point waiting for 5 years. By the way 5 years is a time to make sure they are not held accountable. Most of the employees working for motley would have joined another firm.
I took their advice and invested heavy into Drone Delivery Canada when the stock was worth $2 and Motley said it was going to the moon. If I would have left my money where it was I could be retired now. Oh, well. Guess I'm the fool.
This video is 1 year old. The top 4 stock picks I'm seeing on this screen are massively up YoY as of today(CRWD, Amazon, Mastercard, ABNB). Not saying this validates all their picks, but still, had you listened to their recommendation on at least the top 4 last year, you would've been massively up. I'm not a subscriber (yet), but I'm considering it based on this.
Totally agree, there's another video, the review is without any link to sign up, for me it was more honest, and it says this is not really a good tool to be used, some people look more for a commission, they're not even expert in trading.
Making money should be a routine A weak dollar can signal an economic downturn, making me to ponder on what are the best possible ways to hedge against inflation, and I've overheard people say inflation is a money-eater thus worried about my savings around $200k
As with an my big financial decision, it’s important to keep your guard’s up for economic risks. However, smart planning, time management and seeking advise from a financial adviser can help keep you and your money safe.
financial security through diligent saving and investing should be on top of everyone's priority ASAP. I really need some guidance can this Fin coach guide me in this unstable times and why do you trust them much?
The presenter seems sincere and honest. but its not a good look having a promo link for motely.. Even if you're pointing out the pros and cons. Full disclplosure none of their stock picks worked and in fact crashed. One can blame in on a general market crash but i dont see how these will ever come back even of you hold forvfive years
Nvidia in this video was at a $140 and that was before it first to over a thousand and did a stock split. Even AirBnb which is considered now a struggling stock is up slightly since the video was published. Investing is a long term game that also requires diversification. My only knock on this service is that I get a lot of these same stocks recommended to me via free alternatives.
Lol, it's not a review, it's just pushing to buy their service. Not a single review or comparison of any ETF with their picks. AND pinned comment is, BUY THEIR SERVICE. LOL
Stock market is a gamble. You never know which stocks shoots up in a week or so or even in long term. It depends on many factors. DON’T fall for any investor scam.
Thanks for sharing that. You are correct that the stock market can be volatile and there are many factors that can impact the performance of individual stocks. However, it is important to note that the Motley Fool Stock Advisor is not a "scam," but rather a subscription-based service that provides stock recommendations and investment advice. It is always a good idea to do your own research and due diligence before making any investment decisions. It is also important to diversify your portfolio and not to rely on any single investment. It is never a good idea to "fall for" any investment "scam," and it is always a good idea to be cautious when it comes to your financial decisions.
@@TheModestWallet The reason I said is my friend used to subscribe to Motley Fool but no more. On those days he gave one stock motley recommends and I googled if that stock is good. Then I saw motleys fool saying there are five stocks better than that. But I have that stock which they recommend from my friend but just to lure you to subscribe they say that. That’s what I meant by scam.
2 types of advisors, either they don't know anything, or they don't know that they don't know. Do the work yourself. It is a job. It takes 100-300 hours a month. Learn geopolitics first, then macro. Finally micro, annual reports, financial statements, compare multi year metrics. Without knowing value, price is a floating abstraction. If I didn't get ripped off by FOOL I would never have acquired the skills I have today. THANK YOU.
just another fake review. He gets a commission based on the amount of people who sign up for the service using the code/link. He has no interest at all whatsoever in the service himself and 99.99% likely does not use it himself. Reported!
motley fool is number 1 worst liars I have been following them from past 20 years one time i was their subscriber with 0% benefit.when any stocks go up all their advisors starts praising them when they go down they all start bashing them. All their tech analysis is peace of big "S". Never follow them

Felt really sad to see an endorsement for Motley fool. They destroyed my wealth, nearly all recommendations making a loss of 80% or more.
We pointed out the pros and CONS of the Motley Fool at the end of the video. Sorry to hear you’ve had a bad experience.

Your situation is the same for many investors. Including me. Hold on if you can.

Appreciate you sharing the at and updating us on that!
Soon as the video starts there’s a link to sign up. This is a commercial more than a review
Thanks for the feedback. Pros and cons of the service are towards the end of the video.
@@TheModestWallet One CON, what is the last 5 years performance, try investigating it, do you still recommend them and promote this video ?

I'm watching this video a year later. Has this been updated?

We tried our best to share what we could and give pros and cons. Let us know if you have any specific questions.
@@TheModestWalletNo thanks, I got questions answered by some other videos.
How many times can you say “um”?

Lossed a lot of money on the stocks that were a part of Motley Fool's "Rule Breakers" portfolio. Not looking to buy their services again.
Sorry to hear that. The market as a hole has been down the last couple weeks

Renaming the title doesn't make the review from 2024 when it was originally published in 2022.
Appreciate your feedback

@ronaldogarrosu2999it’s a gamble. Good profitable stocks dive down by negative news. Fundamentals and charts DO NOT ONLY PLAY TO PICK STOCKS.
