Protecting your capital is much more important than making money. Basically because if you lose your capital, making money is much harder. ''Missing the train'' vs. ''losing your money''. There are a lot of trains, but if your money is gone, it's over.

I like investing in close-end funds that pay monthly dividends. The trick is to hold long term and reinvest the monthly dividends plus buy more shares on a monthly basis or when ever you can afford to. This can be easily done because close-end funds are bought and sold on the stock market just like regular stock. That’d be enough to create a portfolio that would pay you between $50k to $70k in dividend income
Just because there are opportunities in the market doesn’t mean you should go in blindly. To understand the potential factors that contribute to your financial growth, I'll advise you to seek the help of a professional
I completely agree; I am 50 years old, recently retired, and have approximately $1,250,000 in external retirement funds. I am debt free and have very little money in retirement funds compared to the total value of my portfolio over the past three years. To be honest, having a portfolio-advisor for investing is genius!

Theconversationaround "reverse" market crash (real estate and stock market) basically argues that we are nowhere near done with inflation and that we might actually experience "hyperinflation" in the near future combined with accelerating poverty levels across the nation or going thru a historical economic depression...those are the extreme conditions that have produced the reverse market crashes in most examples I've seen. I personally don't see anything that extreme coming, but who knows.

Dividends from the stock market encouraged me to begin investing. What matters, in my opinion, is that if you invest and make additional money in addition to dividends, you will be able to live off of dividends without selling. It implies that you can provide that benefit for your children, giving them a head start in life. I've invested more than $600K in dividend stocks throughout the years; I'm currently buying more today and will continue to do so until the price falls even further.
I agree that many people are considering NVDA as the "Stock of the year." However, I'm curious about which stocks could potentially become the next META in terms of growth over the next decade. I've allocated $200k for investment, looking for companies to make additions to boost performance
Look for stocks that have paid steady, increasing dividends for years (or decades), and have not cut their dividends even during recessions. Alternatively speaking to a certified market strategist can help with pointers on equities to acquire

It's always inspiring to hear from a veteran investor who has weathered the storm and come out on top. When your portfolio turns from green to red, it might be unsettling, but if you have invested in great companies, you should just keep adding to them and stick with your plan.
I wholeheartedly concur, which is why I appreciate giving an investment coach the power of decision-making. Given their specialized expertise and education, as well as the fact that each and every one of their skills is centered on harnessing risk for its asymmetrical potential and controlling it as a buffer against certain unfavorable developments, it is practically impossible for them to underperform. It's recommended to save at least 20% of your income in a 401k. You can use online calculators to estimate how much you should save based on your age and income. Saving at least 20% of your income in a 401(k) can help ensure that you have enough money to retire comfortably. By saving this much, you can take advantage of compound interest and potentially grow your retirement savings over time.

1) keep as cash on balance sheet (provides security for bad year, flexibility for future) 2) disburse the money as dividends to investors : investors love dividends and are more-willing to invest in companies that give dividends, thus increasing action in the market. 3) buy-back their own stocks (regain higher percentage ownership of own company, reducing amount paid out when a dividend is disbursed) 4) reinvest in itself or purchase / merge with another company, expand into new market or produce new products 5) hookers and blow

@@JanetAFL Rich parents? Dividends are not guaranteed -- they can be reduced or eliminated. But with the companies he has chosen, I think the probability of that is low. Remember, too, that dividends are taxable while unrealized capital gains are not. These companies tend to produce lower capital gains than a more "growth oriented" portfolio. Tax-deferred growth works miracles because you can invest the money you would have otherwise paid in taxes. Don't put all your eggs in one basket.
Well that would be impossible to do considering I'm in my late 50s and I'm more interested in investments that could set me up for retirement in my 60s, my goal is atleast $2million

Glad you mentioned dividend traps. The most important factor is the overall financial health of the company. Not just a high dividend that could have been invested into future growth.
So if you are generating $1,780 A MONTH from your dividend stocks, then your portfolio value is already $1 million dollars? That's very impressive at such a young age!
I think the stock market will do well in 2024, so I'm thinking of putting $220,000 into stocks for my retirement. Any advice on doing this safely? Also, any important tips for the current financial situation?
Investing in the stock market is the best option to make a passive income. Virtually all the markets are crazy, most people pay more attention to the shiniest position on the graph, I’m keeping a diversified portfolio.
The decision to invest is an acknowledgment that it comes with certain risks. Not all investments will do well and some may lose money. However, without risk, there would be no opportunity to potentially earn the higher returns that can help you grow your wealth.
Remember, diversification is an approach to help manage investment risk. It does not eliminate the risk of loss if security prices decline. Because investing can be complicated, consider working with a financial professional to help guide you on your wealth-building journey.
crash and bullish market provides equal high-yield potential, it's all about information and strategy application, I've seen folks make huge 7figure profit in a crashing market and pull it off as easily in a bull market , Unequivocally the crash/recession is getting somebody somewhere rich
having the requisite strategy to pull off profit in this market is one thing and having access to the exclusive market information is that isn't disclosed to the public is another, that's why the pros are killing it this period.
The uncertainties accompanying this present market is more reasons I have my daily investment decisions guided by a portfolio-coach seeing that their entire skillset is built around going long and short at the same time, both employing profit-oriented strategy and laying off risk as a hedge against the inevitable downtrends, coupled with the exclusive information/analysis, it's quite impossible not to outperform. Netted over $1.5m in return on investment, since using a coach for about 2years.

Not to offend, but what he’s leaving out is the $400,000-$500,000 investment to get to this point. That would be roughly 34 or more years before the investment pays itself back (never mind the time to accrue the initial money). That’s 1/3 or more of your lifespan, GONE.
Okay, on a $225,000 portfolio I clear about $25k a year I still own all of the stocks, that money isn’t gone, it isn’t spent so your ROI is higher than just keeping that money in a savings account. If you’re waiting to get rich off of a $50k investment you’re going to waste your time. Long term investing in dividends is what I do to cover my expenses of life so that what I earn is all mine. My investments pay my bills, so my money is working for me to have a better life and more time. Stocks paid for my house (no mortgage) and my cars and more and I’m still earning and have money in savings. Done right you make your money work for you so you don’t waste a third of your lifespan waiting to be “rich”.
Again, you’re another person that is ready to dump money numbers and bragging without conferring the time or the form of acquisition for your initial investment. Go on, tell us your salary and life situation. I’m sure the normal people who make $30,000 or less would LOVE to know how you came into that money. Did daddy give it to you? Or are you 55 with a high salary that most people will never have? Nobody needs or wants your input. Go enjoy your entitlement elsewhere and send us the postcard
With the very expensive stocks you mention and low dividend, you need about million dollars to do this which most young people don't have. I would prefer stocks or funds under $50. and dividend over 5% which are possible.

My advice is always to keep the majority in ETFs that cover multiple sectors. Then have a couple stocks, as a small percentage, picked out that you feel personally attached to or interested in. That way you can mitigate a lot of the risk but also have a personal touch to your portfolio. I feel this mitigates some of the emotional downsides or disinterest people have with investing. Hi Nate, Good video and explanation of dividends. Just curious as to the overall investment to generate that $1,800/month dividend? I put some basic numbers together and at a roughly 3% dividend across those stocks you mention, you'd need ~$720,000 invested to generate that monthly dividend income of $1,800 or annual dividend income of $21,600.

2) disburse the money as dividends to investors : investors love dividends and are more-willing to invest in companies that give dividends, thus increasing action in the market.
3) buy-back their own stocks (regain higher percentage ownership of own company, reducing amount paid out when a dividend is disbursed)
4) reinvest in itself or purchase / merge with another company, expand into new market or produce new products
5) hookers and blow

Virtually all the markets are crazy, most people pay more attention to the shiniest position on the graph, I’m keeping a diversified portfolio.
The decision to invest is an acknowledgment that it comes with certain risks. Not all investments will do well and some may lose money. However, without risk, there would be no opportunity to potentially earn the higher returns that can help you grow your wealth.
Remember, diversification is an approach to help manage investment risk. It does not eliminate the risk of loss if security prices decline. Because investing can be complicated, consider working with a financial professional to help guide you on your wealth-building journey.

Exactly 😂😂 dividends are a joke
With the very expensive stocks you mention and low dividend, you need about million dollars to do this which most young people don't have. I would prefer stocks or funds under $50. and dividend over 5% which are possible.

Besides the stock choices , how much is invested in total to realize $2K a month in dividends. Most people need to know that to get a baseline in their head.
Atleast 150,000$
at $4.00 dividend a share and $100.00 share price that would be $500k worth of stock needed.
@@applesuly6283 lol.. at least half a million..
His stocks average about 3% in dividends. If one interested $700,000 equally in the seven stocks it would yield $1,750 per month.
truth is, it’s much easier to build a dividend portfolio when you have a high paid job

This kid has approximately $700-800k invested with these presented stocks based on a 2.7-3.4% return. This video is completely unrealistic for a vast majority of people watching this video. Not to mention, having this amount of money invested at this age is extreme privilege.
How could a guy so young yet so knowledgeable about investing and so generous of what he learned! A God given son, indeed.

Great to see impressive Comments about Patrice..God bless her.
AT&T is a good dividend play with high yield, few competition, position well for 5G and still room for growth.
T is cutting their div in half soon
jet D At&T bought to many companies, and are in debt. Look into Verizon, VZ, they are on a steady course, and pay an annual dividend of 4.99 %, and I think they raise their dividend quite often.
Believe this at your own peril. Most of these people say things like this to swing the market which in turn translates to their personal gains. This is a zero sum game and you could lose all. Make more thorough researches before investing or better still, get a fin. advisor. Made my first million earlier this year through one after losing a fortune to TH-cam inspired "trial and error" investing advices. Goodluck!
Now you have my attention sir... I have been into all of these for sometime and though I won't say I have lost a fortune, I have squandered quite a lot... Who was/is the knight in shinning armour? I anticipate your response.. How did you do this? I am slowly giving up on all of these...

Also helps with the urge to constantly buy/sell with fluxes in the market. Grateful i have an adviser at this point. major Thanks to Rita Wildrin Mora.
any recommendations ?
as for me I have personal stake in either using their products or lots of people in my circle who do. APPL, TSLA, NVDA. Along with ABBV and KO when I focused on dividends
impressive. also I did read about Rita Wildrin Mora on the web and left a mail after going through her certifications. I'm willing to make consultations to improve my portfolio..
i'm happy there are lots of people doing so well...Love this channel for the transparency

Hello, I don't know anything about investing and I'm looking to invest, any help? As well who can I reach out to?

So the more you put in, the more u get. How to get monthly??? Do i choose or what ???
Interesting list of stocks. I was surprised that most of your DIV YLD was below 3 percent, which is significantly lower than inflation in "normal" years. Duke Energy, General Mills and Toyota are all above 3 and are best in breed companies. Excellent explanation for those that are new to investing.
Inflation has been around 2-2.5% in normal years, the average over the last 20 years has been in that range. Where are you getting that his div yield has been significantly lower than inflation?

@@inevitable8078 I guess "significant" was to aggressive of a word choice. Since 1914 the average rate is 3.26%. All I am really saying is that if you want to invest for income(dividends) the stocks presented in this clip are pretty weak.
Air products is the main supplier for MRI cryogens. Liquid nitrogen to cool and liquid helium fill. The other supplier is airliquide but they are not nearly as reliable. First time hearing info about the stock. I’m definitely in
Yes stocks are pretty unstable at the moment, but if you do the right math, you should be just fine. Bloomberg and other finance media have been recording cases of folks gaining over 250k just in a matter of weeks/couple months, so I think there are alot of wealth transfer in this downtime if you know where to look.
Since the crash, I've been in the red. I’m playing the long term game, so I'm not too worried but Jim Cramer mentioned there are still a lot of great opportunities, though stocks has been down a lot. I also heard news of a guy that made $250k from about $110k since the crash and I would really look to know how to go about this.
There are actually a lot of ways to make high yields in a crisis, but such trades are best done under the supervision of Financial advisor.
@Dan Brooks Impressive can you share more info?
@Dan Brooks She appears to be well-educated and well-read. I just ran a Google search for her name and came across her website; thank you for sharing.
but how much do you have to invest to get that $1800 dividend?
You forgot to mention that you need some hundreds of thousands in those stocks to get 1-2k in just dividends per month
Definitely not something that can be built overnight. Takes years
Hey I had a dividend video pointing out exactly that problem!
🤣 Yep
You have to start with a little and stay in for the long haul and keep feeding it. People get discouraged and cash out when their $2000.00 stock buy doesn’t make them rich in a year. It’s a marathon not a sprint.
How much do you have in each stock?
I love how you know the industry of each of these stocks and how they impact the community.
@Tesla cannon
How much does one need to get that two grand a month in dividend s
2.5% yielding $1800/month requires an initial investment of $864,000.
Yes my thought exactly.
Buying a stock is easy, but buying the right stock without a time-tested strategy is incredibly hard. Hence what are the best stocks to buy now or put on a watchlist? I’ve been trying to grow my portfolio of $260K for sometime now, my major challenge is not knowing the best entry and exit strategies.
Dude this video was incredibly informative, crazy how you made it so easy to follow!

@@NateOBrien Oh my goodness! Nate, I always learn so much from you. Especially this one. What I love is how you explain by giving very simple examples about that you should pay close attention to the overall health of the company and that your portfolio should be diversified with different industries. Thank YOU so much!
Hey Nate, what do you think of defense stocks? Sin stocks? Too unethical for your tastes?
Refreshing to see someone with good logic and fundamental based stock picks.
Nate I appreciate the info, however it doesn't appear you tell us how many shares of each stock you that is providing you the monthly dividend amount. How can we generate the same amount in dividends with out knowing the amount of shares to own?
Railroads!!! UNP! Some call them old economy... I call them hidden gems with good dividend! Good that I just talked about railroads on my channel. Nice video, Nate.
And they just increased their dividend payouts too!
how long have you invested into these to be getting that return?
When you started your dividend investing journey did you START like the rest of us with $0 or $100 bucks or did you have help from someone or something ?
So between $700 - $800k invested in those stocks to make £1800 a month ?
Hi Nate, Good content. Wa wondering how many stocks does one need to have to earn USd1,800 per month? 100 stocks of each?
When using Webull ans what not, do you still get dividends?
If you owned PPL, then your dividend yield should be higher than the current yield you mentioned. Your personal yield is based in your initial cost and the current dividend. I am assuming the stock price increased over the last 10 years, and I’m assuming the dividend increased over the past 10? years.
Y’all be on the lookout with NVIDIA. I have a verrryyyy good feeling about them. We are getting more and more involved with A.I. and NVD provides those excellent chipsets and are leading in so many different ways and I forecast that their stocks will shoot up long term. A.I. isn’t going away.
That's nice, but why you don't you tell us that this monthly income requires roughly $1.2 Million invested !!
Yup, that’s what I wanted to know
so how much do you have invested to make 1800 month?
There might be an economical turmoil but there is no doubt that this is still the best time to invest.
Best time to invest? thats funny though because in the last four months I have lost more than $47,900 in stock market which is the biggest I have loss since I ventured into stock investment.

I don't mean to be negative here. But come on man. You're trying to get people to think they are gonna make 1800 a month by investing in these stocks. Which is not true. How much capital are you putting up in order to get that 1800/month? 200k 300, 500?
On a positive note, the info about each of these dividend stocks are great!
Is this a valid assessment?
