The importance of diversifying your investments and always putting your money to work is one thing I've learned from millionaires. Now the election is over, I expect to make a return on the about $100K that I plan to invest in equities.

Indeed, you are correct. Investing in a variety of asset types, such as bonds, real estate, and foreign equities, can help spread out your money and lessen the impact of a market catastrophe. This is, in my opinion, the greatest strategy.

That is logical. I have a six-figure diversified stock portfolio and have been using a financial market specialist for the past two years. However, this year I want to diversify even more.

Keep in mind, you cannot contribute to a Roth IRA if your income is >139k or combined married income is >206k. In these instances you can create a backdoor IRA which means you fund a Traditional IRA and convert it to a Roth IRA.

As someone who's young, you should 100% be spending your time now GAINING HIGH LEVERAGE SKILLS and racking them up. When the time is ripe, you will be able to use those skills and make a much higher salary than most people. Good luck on the journey

My biggest irk with ETFs is the lack of optimization;changes in any given stock in the ETF can drag your portfolio down. While dividends can provide immediate income, the true power lies in the compounding effect over many years. But in general, I think the stock market isn't showing any sign of slowdown and I'm still looking for companies to make additions to my $350K portfolio, to boost performance. Here for ideas...

Successful investing is hard work because it means disciplining your mind to do the opposite of human nature. Buying during a panic, selling during euphoria, and holding on when you are bored and just craving a little action. Investing is 5% intellect and 95% temperament.

Government policy has thrown the future under the bus for decades. The day of judgment is near. I predict an 80% drop in the stock market. Investors will abandon stocks in favor of real estate. There will be no money in banks... You must devise a strategy for survival.

I disagree slightly with the last tip about paying off debt before starting to invest. It can be beneficial to invest even the thinnest amount to build the habit sooner. Paying off debt is not always a linear process and can take several years, I think investing even 20$ a month can make a huge difference in motivating people and building momentum to actually take control of their finances

The point is to eliminate debt and have an emergency fund so you never need to withdraw your invest to cover debt, small amounts are better used towards paying off consumer debt vs investments as the returns are so minimal

    • @rosiesol1985
      @rosiesol1985 ปีที่แล้ว +15

Always aim to pay off debt first since the interest on debt will always be higher than your return on your investment. No point on investing if you're loosing money paying off your debt and investing at the same time. Dave Ramsey breaks it down in baby steps. Stick to the baby steps and get rid of your debt!

It's kinda irresponsible to ignore the fact that each ETF launch so far has caused a major dump at the peaks of BTC. We were already on shaky footing with historically low volume and almost pure whale pumps, narrowly avoiding a long-term bear market. More emphasis should be put into day trading as it is less affected by the unpredictable nature of the market. I have made over 27 btc from Blcktken300 insights and charts, its been one step ahead of other analysis….

    Great video.
Last week I increased the amount going into my 401K to the max amount 50+ provision most of this is a ROTH 401K except for the amount I needed for the company match which is the pre-tax 401K. I'm investing in a managed fund that has a fairly low expense ratio and is heavy in bonds and the bulk of my money goes into a S&P500 index fund.
This week I opened up a taxable brokerage account to start investing in an international stock index fund ETF that will give me international exposure in my portfolio. Good times.

Thank you Rose, very informative content and easy to understand! How often should we rebalance our portfolio? Are there any brokerages that include this function? Please make a step by step, video covering this topic.

I've come to realize that money is a tool. I’ve worked so hard over the years to realize that if you don’t make money work for you, you can’t experience true freedom. fully retired with over $3.5million, my dividends is supplementing my retirement at the moment. started saving and investing in 2010 in growth, No regrets and financially free

This is an enlightening perspective. Newcomers should always bear in mind that short-term movements in financial markets can be highly unpredictable and often irrational. Being prepared for unexpected fluctuations is essential because randomness plays a significant role in the market. Due to these inherent risks, I tend to lean towards long-term investment strategies, which provide a more stable and measured approach to wealth accumulation.

I agree , I assumed I had a hang of the market at first, I gained $50k one year and I was super elated, not until I stumbled upon a portfolio-adviser whose been guiding me since the market's been sham after the pandemic, to my utmost surprise I netted a whooping $280K during this dip, that made it clear there's more to the market that we just don't know

Yes, the key is : Patience. It easy to sell fear and get everybody panic mode. Next is long term educating yourself finanically and reading good books not just book on finance, there are also plenty of good youtube videos. Another factor is lifestyle, most ppl who are able to achieve FIRE, FINANCIALINDEPENDENCE RETIRE EARLY, have very simple lifestyle, it does not mean they stinge on many things, it just that they see through all the marketing tactics and tricks to entice ppl to part with their money, many ppl inflate their image by spending money and following idols and buying a house way beyond their means. I spend money on reading especially good books, it that one particular book can teach me to be wiser and a better person or made better choice, I will buy that book. There is a confucious saying, if one has 1 year, plant rice, if 10 years plant trees that bear good fruits and if one has the potential to live 100 years then educate yourself. Be humble and learn from everyone or everybody including idiots so we don't end up like one. Patience, due diligience and be giving to your society in the right way and in the right doses earn one more merits and have a greater postive impact overall . Never copycat wholesale.

My objective is to endure inflation by diversifying my $470k portfolio across various markets. Are you able to assist me?

That's why I've entrusted a fiduciary with my investment decisions. Many underestimate advisors until emotions lead to losses. My advsor crafted a tailored strategy aligning with my long-term goals, guiding entry and exit points for the equities I focus on. This has grown my portfolio to $780k, generating sufficient dividends for my household's needs.
