Hey, Josh! Love the videos, thanks for your dedication despite your hard schedule! I'm a future member of the Yale Class of 2022, and I'm excited to see what's in store! I had a question regarding AP classes and how we would go about using those as credits once we start selecting courses and all that jazz. How does Yale approach taking AP as college credit? I know that they don't take all of the AP tests, and the scores must be more or less 5 or higher to actually be considered for college credit. Thanks!

I am taking both ap chem and pap physics this year. What test would you recommend sat subject test for chem or physics. I will be teaching myself for almost evrything for both because my teachers weren't really teaching this year. Which one is easier in your opinion?
I'd honestly just take whichever one comes easier to you. Unless you specifically want to one of those subjects it shouldn't matter.
I’m taking Physics 1 now and I’m planning on taking the Physics Subject Test at the end of the school year. That class doesn’t cover electricity and magnetism until after the AP Test when we learn basics that’ll prepare us for Physics 2 next year. Do u think from that I’ll know the material for the subject test or will I have to teach myself anything additional?
Lexi Gould from what I know there is a specific class towards e and m. Physics C. Just take the test after you take Physics C or self study the info on your own
You're gonna have to self study, but luckily I have a video on the physics subject test

Do you think it would have been harder at Stanford ? My daughter has to choose between H, S and Y. I have a feeling Y has the best support system. But S has the best weather ! (I don't think I like the quarter system though).

Alice/Jinyang Zhang he might have taken geometry earlier. My school does the same things by having an accelerated class

I made low A's and had an 89 for biology in Freshman year but I took all Pre-AP. Would my 89 affect my Yale application in any way?

I'm pretty sure Yale won't care about an 89 in biology. Don't stress out about that. Just continue to make good grades and do things you love. Simple

Lynn Nguyen also you said you were getting low A’s. If these A’s turn into B’s, then it is probably best to take less pre-AP classes
+michael berrigan Low A's for me is when it's below 95. Last semester I had a few 94s and 93s but that's mainly because I procrastinated which isn't a very good thing lol
