ALWAYS go get help when you need it. Don't wait until you are overwhelmed. Even for writing essays, if you have writer's block, get some feedback from your professor. They have years of experience working with students in the same situations over and over. Something that seems major to you could take only a few minutes for a professor to help you straighten out.

As a college student myself, the point about office hours and TA's is incredibly accurate. The TA office hours are an invaluable resource that more people should utilize. You'll also find people there asking the same questions you are and I always end up studying or collaborating with those people as the semester/quarter goes on.

Great video, Josh. I think the CALENDAR tip is a critical one. And I can also see where taking advantage of 'office hours' is a smart thing. Students should use that resource -- and like you said: not only to get help from professors and/or TAs; but to find other students who might be struggling so you can perhaps work together in the future.
