Coming off of the growing comments of people reportedly struggling to beat a From Software game DLC.. shock; I am going to go through every remembrance boss and see if a higher level is going to make the process easier. To start with I will not be using any Scadutree fragments so that I can see how far I'll get but I may use some later in the video..

true gigachad, cause he already has max stats and is playing with the debuff from it too, it makes your focus lower and red flasks heal less
It also makes him have reduced healing and resistances
@@SlickDangler10 nah you keep your resistances, it’s your focus that gets lowered, as far as I know focus only affects sleep and madness buildup

@@jawesome548no the game is still hard with them, radahn with all fragments was the hardest fromsoft boss I’ve ever fought, the fragments are basically what gear and gear levels are in the base game
@@jawesome548 I think he meant to say that they created the new progression mechanic to allow them to make the bosses much stronger to prevent steamroll, unless you go and farm the fragments.
I had to respec 12 times just to get the right levels to last against Radahn. I had 33 larval tears, and figured fuck it, lets redo our stats a bit. Endurance was really low before I changed it, and it helped a lot. Since NG+3, I've been running a bleed build, scrictly due to the fact that Malenia is very weak to bleed, so I used that to my advantage, and set arcane up to 80 long before my fight with Radahn. I'll tell you this much: you can be the most powerful player of all in this game, you will still struggle with the bosses if you're not careful and mindful of what you're using in the fight. I've cursed Miyazaki and fromsoft so much for this dlc, and now that I've beaten it, I honestly take it all back.
Literally my build but I used str arc bleed double collosal hammers. I was chunking final boss and it took me 2 hours

I could be misunderstanding, but anything over 60 arc is overkill since it does next to no extra damage. Might help to pit 20 points into something else.

Beating the dlc with no scadutree fragments normally is not that bad, its only when you reach NG+7 i feel like its almost near impossible with no fragments, the first mini boss two shots you with max level
I gotta be doing something seriously wrong then, came in with the most optimized build lvl 170 that breezed through main game bosses and expected to encounter quite a challenge but the dancing lion already made me feel like Im lvl 10 in consecrated snowfield

I had so much more eof a difficult time with ds3
And sekiro was my first souls game I spent almost a week on some bosses
Genichiro in the tower took me 3-4 days
Guardian ape almost made me give up the game even after googling the spear Strat for second phase
@@paulgilles8518 I tried using spirit ashes on my no scadu fragment run. Doesn't help much but it buys you time when you need it most.
Well the difference in your power from say lvl 150 which is ng to max level character isn't really that big, considering stat diminishing returns anyways

@@TJRochethere are 2 sides of Miquella. The kind and gentle side (St.Trina) and the evil genius manipulator (Miquella the Unalloyed).
In the dlc Miquella gets rid and seperates Sr Trina from his body, similar to Marika and Radagon, but Miquella only becomes truly evil and insane after that point.

I also did the DLC with a max level character. For people wondering what that's like, I'd say you're afforded around 2-3 extra mistakes compared to a regular levelled character, but you're still nowhere near to being a god. As you can see in the Rellana fight, she still takes half of your HP, BUT they don't one-shot you. Maybe 2 shot, but not one-shot. Then a big advantage is you don't need a build, you're all the builds and you don't need to respec. If a situation requires you to switch gear/weapons, you're good to go and even heavier loads should only get you to medium load, so fat rolling is unlikely. This being said, I beat Rellana and the Lion on my first tries, Messmer on probably my 3rd or 4th. The toughest bosses were Blackgaol Knight (because I was using swords, but going in big bonk - 2 maxed Anvil Hammers on my second go through the DLC, I destroyed him in a few seconds). Bayle took me less than 10 attempts, but I got lucky. Now, Radahn was still hard, even at max level. Out of all the bosses, base game + DLC he was legit hard, even at max level and took me probably... 20-30 attempts.

Radhan with full scad is easier than melania, I'd say, and messmer was a lot easier than i thought hed be i beat him on my second try bc i fucked up on my first and didn't realize what i was doing wrong till after. I consider his fight still only a 1st try myself bc once i realized what i was accidentally doing it was a 1 sided fight. For context too what i was doing i kept drinking my healing flask and couldn't figure out why my character was. Wrong button being pressed

Bro, what a funny and amazing video! I really didnt know just how much damage im missing out on without those Scadutree blessings…i think im at level 15 I believe, and im hard stuck on Consort Radahn. I still think ill get bodied at level 20, but every little bit seems to help.

That Commander Gaius is the truth I rank him as one of the top three difficult bosses in the entire game along with the final boss in the DLC

I was 520, ng+3 and didnt use the scadus. Most bosses were easy but gaius, scadutree and bayle gave me some struggle and radahn was very difficult. So i used all scadus i collected ( +16 ) and second try i finally did him. I used all the bossfights a rotten great axe scales on frostbite.
Bro I was level 252 when I was on ng+8, they were still easy except rellana and radahn for me🙂.
The bosses are easy, even more if you use ashes and all kind of buffs.
I will be joining you soon BRO, my 713 level ( 150 level my as# ) is almost completed one 99 stat left. I have already beat the DLC with EASE twice ng+4 and ng+5. Sorry Mr. Miyazaki try again

I used Morgotts Great Rune to get through the final fight tbh. The massive health boost let me make more mistakes throughout the fight so I could learn the patterns better. Twice I got my heart stolen on the last 10% lmao.

mmm, are you sure ? From what I know, the DLC Bosses's difficulty scale a lot more than the base game according to your NG+ and Level, so it's hard to believe you kill bosses at 1st or second attempt. Forgive me, but it's what I really think.

@@fabriziomanni6890 I mean its my first time playing through a souls game and I also got through all bosses so far on first try except Bayle and Mesmer took 2 and 4 times (haven't tried radahn yet).
Not ashamed to say im using Blashemous Blade with summons, and my scadu blessing is 12 rn. So it's definitely possible since im a complete nub to these games.
@@fabriziomanni6890it’s pretty common knowledge. At game 1 max level the only real challenge is radahn, but that’s with fragments. Not sure without them. Otherwise max level means nothing in the dlc
@@fabriziomanni6890 yeah no problem. Yeah they don’t really scale to your level but more to the scadutree blessing level as you know. But that being said, I don’t know if your level doesn’t play any factor. But truthfully, the those were the only bosses that took more than one attempt. Their attack patterns and Bayle’s aoe attacks were wild. Messmer however, almost roasted me. I got lucky on that one.
I'm gonna need a thorough breakdown by someone of the actual damage comparison of 0 fragments vs each level of blessing because i still don't believe they do anything
They definitely do, even if it helps reduce the damage you receive but I know what you mean
I have no idea how you would get to max level in new game except just farming mohgs albimaurics for years or cheating. Those claws absolutely melt enemies at level 713
It’s probably a save file u just take it and put in your game files
I did it by farming red albinaurics. It takes probably 200 hours (I wasn't counting), but I did it on and off for something like 1 hour per day for a few months, up to a year, after finishing the game.

it is actually crazy how much they bumped up the difficulty for the dlc and i love it. A hard souls game is a good souls game. not only are most of the bosses harder than the vanilla game bosses but the ai of the dlc bosses are input based. Which makes for quite interesting boss fights. thank you miyazaki. 🙏

He spawned in runes, as you can see he has 3 hours of gameplay and lvl 713
How many hits can you resist with your character at that level? Would you like to see him with the heaviest armor and all defensive? Would you die within 10 hits at most?
Without any scadutree fragments, you still can be killed in like 2-3 hits unfortunately😂😂 I can dish out MUCH more damage but for me to tank I’d have to get the 20 levels with scadutree frags😂😂
I did Radahn with my main character around level 230 on ng+1 with scadutree at level 12 it was a pain but after around 5h i got him

You could be doing a lot more damage on those jump attacks with the jumping talisman
Yep, I have it equipped! If there is a fight where I didn’t it’s probably because I was constantly switching to kindred of rot for my venomous fangs and sometimes I would forget to switch but otherwise, you are absolutely right, jumping talisman is clutch!!
Do ansbach and freya quest before killing messmer and they tell you what they did with moghs body

Thank you for the support! I just downloaded a save file that had max runes at level 1 at the beginning of the game and from there proceeded to go through the game at max level in another video. Then simply carried on in this video!
This shows that people just need to learn how to play the DLC correctly that way their bills are able to help them get through the game I did something similar with two of my main files were they're both at 3:00 something pretty high almost close to 400 tell where I've been able to get through most of the bosses with both the tree fragments in the DLC and taking down the bosses so in all honesty yeah it all depends on how well you get to know the DLC to decrease the difficulty so and honesty I feel like people are bitching for nothing
Im lvl 270 with 6 scadutree , reached raddahn , phase 2 twice then i just stopped,went back collecting scadutree
In less than 5 hours, you reached the max level dude...

does anyone know if you activate your scadutree fragments and have to travel to the base game for some reason, do you lose the fragments or their effects when you go back to the DLC?
From what I understand the fragments are a permanent upgrade to your character, but they only take effect in the DLC area, they are useless in the main game
