mate, i waited 10 years with no prospect of it ever getting a proper port im just happy the emulation is already so far along and that we are seeing such concrete results, as far as i am concerned the devs can take as much time as they need
"Bloodborne PC plays so well I forget I'm emulating it" That's fromsoftserve from 3 weeks ago, so it seems like you have dabbled in the bait yourself. Which is fine, you are doing great work, the emulator is coming along amazingly, a bit of hype won't hurt. People who care enough to emulate understand that there is a road ahead.
It's okay for them to be excited, especially because of how new it felt at the time. Having played it myself for a moment, there were moments where I forgot that I wasn't on my PS4. It makes sense, at least to some degree Hyperbole can be okay, especially when you wring discourse back in and correct your own mistakes
In his defense, normally its taken years for an emulator to look remotely good. I loaded it up, and I clearly know its emulated, but I even said wow, this is nearly ready. Only because of the comparison ive seen past cases, which dont mean itll be a 1:1.
The engagement bait I’ve seen about Bloodborne and so many other things online are insane. Social media is getting unusable because the only thing people want are attention, likes, views, clicks, etc. People leave reason, common sense and logic at the door when they go online and it’s so sad to see.
@@bb-sw6uryeah we should blame something we can’t do anything about instead of actually trying to self reflect Gamers are so lost man. Bunch of lemmings.
@Jupa he's not wrong though, corporations are clearly taking advantage of something in our monkey brain to hold your attention on nothing. You just happen to be able to recognize it. Many cant
@@Jupa My man, reflection is good, but yes we are lemmings. Humans are social creatures. Everything about who you are and how you think, was absorbed from a society made by other humans. You would be a totally different person growing up in a vacuum. One who doesn't call others lemmings, which you also learned from other people and repeated the face-value connotation of. The specific combination of pieces make you an individual, as we all have a unique experience. But those pieces and all of the things that shape our experiences are external and you often don't even get to decide what they are or mean in any impactful sense. Half the time, we are blind to those things that shape us... especially the most defining influences. Very little of what's in any of our minds is original to us. It's shared, and because of that, there are no boogey men, no groups of individuals responsible, we are all the problem, for the world we shape and how it shapes us. The evil in you neighbor is the evil in you. Even if it wasn't, you saw it and stared back into you. You are of this world like anybody else. And we have choices to make, but we make them all with extremely limited information, from relative ignorance. It's honestly amazing how much we can get away with not actually knowing and still survive. Simple people only see individuals, never the reality that we live in machines made out of people. It's much easier to blame a few repeatedly failing cogs than look at the machine for other design issues that might make those failures inevitable. In your mind, brakes locking up on your car in spite of multiple drains and caliper/pad swaps, is because you need better brakes. You have to do a lot more problem solving when the answer is anything beyond a basic moral judgement of "Those cogs just need to work better and everything will be fine." When maybe the cogs are in the wrong place and that's why they don't perform well. By your rationale, you can never know. If we are talking about problems that involve millions of people, across different freakin boarders and demographics, the time to make it about individual character is long gone. Human beings are like water downhill. When the water flows disadvantageously, you don't smack some sense into the water. It conforms to your hand and keeps going. You go to the hill and start digging a new channel for the water to flow down. The more people you have grouped together, the more they influence each other, and are influenced by circumstances around them. Who are gamers, anyway? Dyou know how many different people encompasses? Are you suggesting we get every gamer in a convention to make them sit and think? To change the world? Or at least, change a giant amorphous multidemographic blob made out of nearly every kind of person? Are you a cultist by chance? Groupthink and all of that stuff is down to biases you can't control or perceive in yourself. You have plenty of them too, don't think you're different. You, like anybody else, don't even remember the majority of decisions you make every day because your monkey brain autopilot handles it - other people see some of those decisions and conclude you are as dumb as you think they are. Self reflection is good, but you've lost the plot if you think that's enough, or you ever thought that human beings were rational actors. We can be, sometimes, when we work really hard. But by default, we are lemmings. Our minds do the best they can to not think, because we need quick decisions and consistency is more favorable to survival. It also leads us to fall into weird ruts in how we perceive reality, especially more abstract things. Our minds basically just try to make their best guesses at what follows any particular piece of information... and once it gets good enough to pull it off, you don't register any of it consciously. This works for the general spread of circumstances because it all works on probability, and then we help each other out by sharing social constructs. But it also makes you blind to certain outlying variables, where you can no longer see outside of the frame of context you already have - your mind would rather fit the bum pieces into that one than ever start over. That includes you, me, even Einstein. You can ask people to reflect all day, but getting actual results from that is blood from a stone. Everyone will fall into normative ruts, where they presume truth and do not reflect on it. Reflection is always rare, that it feels like you're always thinking is a trick of memory. You can believe you have reflected, actually done it, and still you really don't know anything, and your behavior might not even change that much - though you might see it different internally, because it's a cleaner narrative, and our minds love those. All it really means is that you thought it over, and found context that took out some inconsistencies. Doesn't mean your model is more accurate to reality, just more internally stable. The lemmings thing is actually fun, too. Even lemmings aren't actually "lemmings" as people think they mean when they use that insult. Lemmings don't actually just run off of cliffs like that, you know? That came from an old documentary that faked the footage - they forced it to happen by creating an artificial situation where they would behave that way, for the shot and the story. Everyone else has carried the false info since then, including you. It's not that anybody thinks we can't do something about it. People who HAVE relfected on this a lot have gradually inched up to the coclusion that the problem is bigger than anyone person, and started looking around and seeing a lot of external things that causually correlate with the behavior. You are the one being myopic, seeing only the puzzle piece you have and assuming the counterpoint is "nothing can be done" because people reject these bootstraps arguments about individual morals when the truth we're hitting on is more like, "individuals can't solve a societal problem." People will develop values and attitudes that match what they're fed. We're saying the whole food supply is bad. Very big problem, but unfixable? Debatable. Harder than self-reflection, absolutely. Much more context dependent, with lots of disparate info to link. It's hard to keep the frame for that bigger picture. It gets easier the more that we share it not just in our thoughts, but our experiences. And the latter takes time. Until then, nothing will happen. But that doesn't mean nothing will ever change. We can never hope to solve these problems if we make them smaller so that they feel more solvable.
@@differentbutsimilar7893 I…. actually didn’t know lemmings were a real thing. I was just thinking of the game ‘Lemmings’ those little green things. I guess I am uncultured ;( But that was magnificent otherwise, very allegorical.
People don't realize, these improvements come exponentially slower as you progress to a more finished product. I hope they are able to fix vertex explosions soon, it's the biggest one for me.
@@SuperTCTproductions last build I played (a couple days after this comment), it was way more stable and actually didn't get any explosions for the 15 minutes I played, which was a record. How are things looking now?
If they really port bloodborne pc with only epic games exclusive, i didnt pre-order any game and didnt buy any game on epic games BUT i will pre-order day 1. In addition if they decide to port that way after this emulator polished and run bloodborne start to finish like no issues... thats another story.
Strongly agree with you, when i saw the imporovements i couldn't believe and comprehend the amount of work the emulation devs did for it to be possible And to fix all the remained problems must be the work of another level of difficulty, which cannot be fixed easily, so yeah, bloodborne is playable, but still has lots of problems And we must be patient and supportive to devs, at least if we want to represent the decency of Bloodborne comunity to its full
Ancient developer proverb: "Once you have completed the first 90% of your project, then you must complete the *other* 90%." As an indie dev, I can confirm this to be true.
Dont worry brother even of its already little playeble, most of us know that you modders more time for improvements so do it step by step and dont rush it we all here for your and others success
There's not much they can do with mods. it's just makeup for an emulator on baby steps of development. It's growing fast sure, but major problems are not solved with mods or patches.
@@thiagofacundo2979I got 16 gigs and i still get the memory allocation error. At the character creation screen the ram spikes over 16gigs somehow and it crashes
The two great damages done to many emulators, mods, and projects, are assumed misinformation and unhealthy expectations. This reminds me a lot of when the UEVR mod was approaching release. We not only had a lot of youtubers and influencers building a premise and story of quality and features that did not exist, but also demonstrations of the program without showing the work and knowledge needed on a user to do the very same thing setting-wise on their own end. When it finally released, I was disheartened watching a collective of youtubers talk about how bad it was, or how the discord servers were filled with complaints based on user-error and mistakes for a little. Programmers and skilled individuals who all collectively help make thing happen are always sacrificing something to make this work whether that's time or peace of mind. You know this, Fromsoftserve, with all the impressive modding and fixes you've provided to a host of FromSoftware's titles. It may seem innocent excitedly yelling out to others "This is going to be the best thing ever, and it's coming soon!" but this is...unhealthy and lofty expectations. Even worse is when we begin to feel entitled to WHEN it will meet those expectations. At the end of the day, we as the audience and watchers are not putting in the hours and hard work. For us? It's a matter of just....waiting. And I hope that we will show both the patience and respect these individuals deserve when it comes to what they are giving us. Give it time. We've waited on Sony for entire people's childhoods, we can wait and appreciate where we're going with this.
This is going on with Baldur's Gate 3 mods right now. Tons of videos about "new campaign and story mods in BG3 are insane!" when it's just possible to make them now. It's still going to take a ton of time and work by a lot of people to actually make a custom campaign but there are videos talking about it as if you can go play a new campaign or BG4 right now and that's just not true.
As someone who has already finished the game on emulator from start to finish twice, there is still a lot of work to be done. I still had a phenomenal experience (helps that it's one of the best games of all time), but there's work to be done especially with the sfx stuff and the memory leak. We will get there. I also played it on 720p with the 720p patch which gave me 60fps most of the time on a 3070 laptop with 32 GB of Ram with an i7 12700hq, it's a mid range system, but most people don't even have that much. Incrasing the resolution to even 900p, affects the performance quite a bit, an at 1080p and 1440p it's not really that good of an experience unless you're happy with 30fps with occasional drops below. Also am using the sfx intel/amd fix. That modder is doing God's work which allows me to fight all bosses properly with their magical attacks and other stuff rendering without crashes. This was also my first time through the game. The dream is definitely real, and i cannot believe that I can say that I have 100% played Bloodborne on PC.
People just don't have any patience anymore in a society centered around instant gratification. I hope the developers take their time to make sure that the code is built correctly and reliably. I DO want to play this game at 4K/120, but I am WELL aware that it is going to take time to get there. BUT! It will all be worth it. I'm thankful that there are talented people taking on this task, because I am not technically inclined to contribute to it myself.
all of this is why I use this channel as a way to keep up, some of the videos can seem long winded, but there is an honesty that comes with, both in your work and the current state of the emulator.
That airplane analogy is pretty funny really, You quite literally have the option to have a new perspective of the world when you're at such an elevation- and people just have the shits that It's not convenient enough and they have to share it with other people. It really is funny how quickly something that was extraordinary becomes mundane.
Yeah, I took my first flight five years ago and thought the experience of flying was amazing. Everything around it was so routine. I still marvel at the engineering behind it but I might as well be on a 500mph bus.
18:40 major reason why they being sued successfully is paywalling access to latest builds, it's pretty much considered as business which parasites on Nintendo intellectual property
Yep, and btw none of the other stuff is true, people were banned in their Discord for talking about piracy, and they weren't distributing anything they couldn't
You say you are not part of the development team but you actually seem like a great guy to reach out to when it comes to emulation. I hope the actual development team also communicate like you do. And I think you are also contributing alot~
I hope someone comes out w a video documenting the development. I know literally nothing about any of this programming/modding/emulating nonsense, but would love to see how those big breakthroughs occurred and what they looked like. Find it very interesting.
I downloaded a version a few days ago. Yharnam loaded up, but good god it was like playing a slide show. I still lauhed and just smiled at what little I could get. I have aRayven 7 cpu, RTX3050 ti with 16ram, but only 4vram..... It can still run Doom Eternal and 2077 really well with proper settings. Bloodborn has a long way to go to be stable on most hardware
I'm SO glad that we never got an actual Bloodborne port. I sincerely doubt that we would have ever gotten a PS4 emulator if Bloodborne had gotten ported.
I hate that it's needed, but thank you for uploading a reality check of sorts. I especially appreciate how you mentioned the lack of context in short form content (tweets, etc), as it seems to further confuse people new to emulation. May the good information flow and the actual progress be celebrated! After sharing the early ShadPS4 progress with friends, saying how we might actually be able to see Bloodborne being playable through an emulator before Sony finds it in them to release it on PC themselves, a few of them fell onto the sort of clickbait hypetrain and then they returned to me, frustrated by me having made them think they could play the game on their laptop first thing tomorrow morning. So please keep up the good work, and I love seeing crashes and graphical issues actually be included in the videos. I'm sure all of us want to see this game functioning perfectly, with glorious upscaled textures, improved lighting and all that "magic", but it's sad how the cherrypicked halftruths sometimes overshadow the reality of the situation. Then again, the progress that has already been done is actually INSANE and I CAN'T BELIEVE HOW FAST THE BLOODBORNE EMULATION IS PROGRESSING
I understand the sentiment you're sharing and I agree with it but Bloodborne is a very very special case especially for people who don't follow emulation, to see a game go from unplayable to where it is now in 2 months is going to naturally cause a ton of artificial hype and a lot of expectation that the game's just gonna be ready anytime now. We got to have a little patience in situations like these and understand why a lot of people come in thinking what they do.
22:41 it's not because market small, it's pretty much relates to their twisted understanding of market as a whole, they believe that it's for them to decide what people want and they didn't even close to realization that it's not the case, otherwise they wouldn't make Horizon ZD remake which hardly distinguishable with original game instead of reintroduced highly anticipated series which people are crying to get refresh.
Never had a PS4 or PS5, but I bought this game a few times (collector's edition sitting in my closet, bought it digitally on the Playstation store). Ultimately my only playthroughs were on PC via PSNow streaming, but that doesn't include the DLC. I've been tinkering with it on Shadps4, love the progress! If the PS5 wasn't so gigantic I'd buy one just for this game (and shadow of the colossus, ico). But for me, the emulation is a great way to play without a PSNow subscription.
we got bloodborne running on pc before GTA6??? Jokes aside, I've been waiting for this for years and the fact that the team has gotten this far is insane. Thank you to all of you
Yeah the memory leaks haven't been fixed in Bloodborne yet. I have a 48 GB ram and it still crashes. I'll say this though, it does take longer for it to crash and I get at least two hours and a half before doing it. Devs are still doing great work and I appreciate what they've done for the community overall. Shout out to them and the mods that made this game better!
Yep, I followed Wii U and Switch emulation from the very start Often you get these big leaps in short periods followed by slowing, plus bugs being fixed seemingly completely to the untrained eye, but they either regress or still cause issues down the line etc. Regardless, this PS4 emulator is progressing at an insane rate considering where it started before the big progress rush. I'm interested to see if that momentum keeps up in the way that Cemu or Yuzu did once they got going, the progress on both of those was impressive too, but much further along not from the start like ShadPS4 has been.
I don't blame people for being excited. I mean, it wasn't that long ago this was entirely impossible. Yeah, there's no reason to expect any of this to happen on specific timelines, but the fact we are even here at all is so amazing!
I've been telling people "It'll probably be fully playable how you'd want by around this time next year." because I understand that there will be a lot of little random bugs, crashes and memory leaks to sort out. Hell, before all the rapid improvements and we just had the game booting I said 2 years from now. People have wild expectations.
flying is cool and all, however, i swear they intentionally crank up the air conditioning so the cabin feels like a fridge, and then they try to charge you $30 to rent a thin blanket
Its really important to not rush it and take as much time as needed to deliver the perfect product. You are succeding where Sony unfortunatly failed, and you are a hero for it (I got nothing against Sony though)
I waited years for Sony to release bloodborne on pc without any progress on it to suggest that and I don't mind waiting couple more years for modders to do that So I suppose that waiting isn't an issue for many of us
people are very hasty because they have been waiting for nearly 10 years for this moment for the a way to play the game on pc in any way so i don't blame them this is part of the hype.
I agree with you on an official release. Even when this project gets to a point where it can run with very little to zero flaws, if we get an official PC port, I will SUPPORT and buy the shit out of it. I feel like if anyone calls themself a true fan of the game, they would buy it. Buying the official release does good for the devs, and let's the company as a whole know that THIS is what people and fans want!
You nailed a lot of points about how people are very pushy/etc when there's a barrier to entry for something they want. Too many people these days are living in the instant gratification mindset instead of sitting down and taking some time to learn the ins and outs of what's being done on even the most basic of levels to get what they want. Tonnes of bravos to the shadPS4 team and affiliates for everything done; it's a huge leap to get an emulator running and working enough to see things and mostly be able to play the game.
On the Yuzu topic, I think you are spreading misinformation: the ONLY ground Nintendo had was the fact that TOTK got leaked and downloaded 1M times before release, and Yuzu was profiting on the situation with their Early Access build behind Patreon. None of the other accusation is true: they were not distributing games, they were not patching the emulator to make games work before release, they were not using Nintendo code, people talking about piracy on their Discord got immediately banned as they should.
I don’t know if my comments will get lost in the sea of comments and if it is so be it I personally think a lot of people are really excited about the possibility of Bloodborne finally coming to pc even if it’s just a Emulator have a nice day I am stoked myself been years since I’ve played it first game I ever platinumed for vanilla and dlc I miss it and I have since moved to pc
Theres no way I will play this game on the ps4 at 30fps or buy a jailbroken ps4 to play it at 60fps so the pc emulation is my only option to play this game for the first time
im happy that your doing this, ive want to play this game so much but i cant buy a playstation, because its expensive in my country, so ill wait patiently
Please make video updates on whats working and what needs fixing for bloodborne pc emulation. Nearly every video on youtube just shows how “perfect” emulation is.
After hearing about BB emulation I purposely went out and bought a ps4 just to play bloodborne, knowing that the emulation wouldn’t be what I wanted for a first time experience playing the game. There has never been a game more deserving of a remaster, that being said it should also put into perspective of how large a task even getting this game to run remotely stable on another system is, the game doesn’t run well on its native hardware… so to get it stable on pc is a mind boggling task. Even if it takes years, it’s better than anything Sony will do with the franchise.
Excellent video, clear and informative, no dumb hype. Thank you for being one of the main voices of reason and sanity when it comes to ShadPS4. Keep popping the misinformed hype bubbles of the irresponsible clickbaiters and please continue with your very useful videos.
Appreciate the vid and your explanations. Tbh my expectations have been rather low for a well running BB on PC. I'm good w/ waiting for as long as it needs to take just like any game in dev. Even if the dev goes past a year we now have access to a new jailbreak for the PS5 so we can always play BB at 60fps there until the PC version is finished.
As a scientist in medical and pharmaceutical field, I can say that we have to be very careful in how we communicate our findings. The media always spin the story by creating dramatic headlines without tempering expectations at all. Bloodborne also has so many huge fans, that I think they're being too optimistic on these timelines. I look at Hollow Knight: Silksong, and how the reveal for that game was so long ago that the hype train has derailed for a lot of people. Example I have spent years researching the cause, treatment and prognosis of Parkinson's and Schizophrenia pathology. We found a few promising targets in the brain for future testing (and eventually testing and targeting with a drug), This research is in the preliminary stages, we haven't proven we can produce a drug to selectively target the sites we have to test, We don't know if it is even going to been proven to be effective, it hasn't been approved for animal testing or the 4 stages of human testing (if it even gets to this stage). IF (bif if) this research does prove to be useful, it will still be 8-10 years out before a product is produced that doctors could subscribe.
I have said I see Bloodborne being in a near perfect state soon but with the astricts of WITH MODS, and by perfect I mainly mean perfect to play, I do think it will be awhile till the game is 1 to 1, but something very similar to PS4 Bloodborne I feel is soon, the process in less then 60 days has gone from not running at all, to where we are now Also while I agree with most of what you said, the PS4 is not a complex system at all to emulate compared to bassicly any other console, it's only taken so long to get an emulator as good as shadPS4 for 2 main reasons 1. Lack of a lot of true PS4 exclusives, most are on PC now, so unlike say, a Nintendo console where you have A LOT of exclusives motivating people to get them playing on PC, PS4 has, Bloodborne, Infamous 2nd son, amd a couple more niche games I hadn't heard of until I searched for PS4 exclusives And the 2nd reason is that it's not a challenge in comparison to say, wiiU, Switch, or 3DS emulation So up till now, no devs had motivation to make a PS4 emulator, it wouldn't lead to a lot of games becoming playable on PC, and doing it to challenge yourself wouldn't really work since compared to any other console, the challenge is a lot smaller
You raise some good points, I understand we need to chill on the hype some, but I don't forsee all the problems with the current bloodborne build being any harder to fix than getting the game to run in the first place. There's motivation, hopefully money to be made (these people have to have a patreon somewhere) and alot of time and effort already sunk into the emulation.
The only other games that need to be playable on emulator is The Last of Us 2, Gravity Rush 1&2, Infamous Second Son & First Light, Shadow of The Colossus, and The Last Guardian. Then the PS4 would be completely obsolete.
it costs like 100 bucks used, it will not be obsolete for a long time.... any broke bum living in mommas basement and cannot afford gaming PC can buy it and play all of them og games bruv

I guess I am uncultured ;(

NEW LEAK: BLOODBORNE PC IS COMING OUT OCTOBER 35TH
But only on epic games store
Bro that's old news, I already have bloodborne with me✓✓✓✓!
If they really port bloodborne pc with only epic games exclusive, i didnt pre-order any game and didnt buy any game on epic games BUT i will pre-order day 1. In addition if they decide to port that way after this emulator polished and run bloodborne start to finish like no issues... thats another story.

Strongly agree with you, when i saw the imporovements i couldn't believe and comprehend the amount of work the emulation devs did for it to be possible
And to fix all the remained problems must be the work of another level of difficulty, which cannot be fixed easily, so yeah, bloodborne is playable, but still has lots of problems
And we must be patient and supportive to devs, at least if we want to represent the decency of Bloodborne comunity to its full
Ancient developer proverb: "Once you have completed the first 90% of your project, then you must complete the *other* 90%."
As an indie dev, I can confirm this to be true.
thank you bloodborne emulator youtube man
Dont worry brother even of its already little playeble, most of us know that you modders more time for improvements so do it step by step and dont rush it we all here for your and others success
There's not much they can do with mods. it's just makeup for an emulator on baby steps of development. It's growing fast sure, but major problems are not solved with mods or patches.
Bloodborne situation is crazy
Last time I came this early I got Kos pregnant
I think it's very natural to have strong expectations when an emulator goes from booting into the main menu to very playable in just 2 months
Can my memory leak be fixed? I’m kinda stupid.
For users with 16GB of ram yes, it is fixed. But for people who have 8 GB of RAM, the game crashes a lot.

Bloodborne runs ultrawide with 144fps? Excellent, when a ps5 emulator and demon's souls remake?
Next week or the one after that.
just put the ps5 disc in your pc's disc drive? pretty simple stuff
Tomorrow
The dream is definitely real, and i cannot believe that I can say that I have 100% played Bloodborne on PC.
in simple words - LET. THEM. COOK.
For real tho, we've waited a long time for this. Might as well wait a little longer and NOT RUSH ANYTHING.
i’m ready to wait another year or two to get the best experience
and btw i can play the game if i turn off the light effects, it’s playable. but i don’t wanna rush it
The rcps3 setting recommendation on the wiki are a lifesaver. I hope given enough time shad will have something similar.

Bloodborn has a long way to go to be stable on most hardware
I'm just happy it's possible.
Edit: Honestly an inspirational video in a lot of ways.
I'm SO glad that we never got an actual Bloodborne port. I sincerely doubt that we would have ever gotten a PS4 emulator if Bloodborne had gotten ported.
you know, I read the title and expected exactly this type of video, so I guess you're doing it right ☀
I hate that it's needed, but thank you for uploading a reality check of sorts.
Thank you for creating and updating this emulator, you're doing a great job
Never had a PS4 or PS5, but I bought this game a few times (collector's edition sitting in my closet, bought it digitally on the Playstation store). Ultimately my only playthroughs were on PC via PSNow streaming, but that doesn't include the DLC. I've been tinkering with it on Shadps4, love the progress! If the PS5 wasn't so gigantic I'd buy one just for this game (and shadow of the colossus, ico). But for me, the emulation is a great way to play without a PSNow subscription.

Much needed wisdom around the emulator's progress. Thank you!
The progress made in recent weeks is still REMARKABLE
Fantastic video, man.
Yep, I followed Wii U and Switch emulation from the very start
Often you get these big leaps in short periods followed by slowing, plus bugs being fixed seemingly completely to the untrained eye, but they either regress or still cause issues down the line etc.
Truth is in short supply in this influencer age
I've been telling people "It'll probably be fully playable how you'd want by around this time next year." because I understand that there will be a lot of little random bugs, crashes and memory leaks to sort out. Hell, before all the rapid improvements and we just had the game booting I said 2 years from now. People have wild expectations.

The fact that there's now a chance that Bloodborne will be playable on PC in my lifetime is enough for me.
My expectations are that it will look like it does on PS4 and run 60fps on 4060 by the end of the year
You nailed a lot of points about how people are very pushy/etc when there's a barrier to entry for something they want.
I know one thing for sure, bloodborne will be on PC before I die and am not in the insane mind to assume it will be finished anytime soon
Thank You! I'm sick of seeing these people spreading misinformation & giving the shadps4 devs a hard time.
I just hope it’s comparable to the original and completely playable by the end of the year.

Please make video updates on whats working and what needs fixing for bloodborne pc emulation. Nearly every video on youtube just shows how “perfect” emulation is.
I’ve been waiting to play Bloodbourne for years. Will you make a video when you think the game is a solid experience from start to finish?
After hearing about BB emulation I purposely went out and bought a ps4 just to play bloodborne, knowing that the emulation wouldn’t be what I wanted for a first time experience playing the game. There has never been a game more deserving of a remaster, that being said it should also put into perspective of how large a task even getting this game to run remotely stable on another system is, the game doesn’t run well on its native hardware… so to get it stable on pc is a mind boggling task. Even if it takes years, it’s better than anything Sony will do with the franchise.
for a moment I thought you were going to talk about the closed doors PC port that is being held hostage.

Appreciate all the work you've done, have a quick question though. Do you think ultrawide support will come anytime soon? Cheers
Nuance is a lost art, especially on social media.
I have said I see Bloodborne being in a near perfect state soon but with the astricts of WITH MODS, and by perfect I mainly mean perfect to play, I do think it will be awhile till the game is 1 to 1, but something very similar to PS4 Bloodborne I feel is soon, the process in less then 60 days has gone from not running at all, to where we are now
Also while I agree with most of what you said, the PS4 is not a complex system at all to emulate compared to bassicly any other console, it's only taken so long to get an emulator as good as shadPS4 for 2 main reasons
1. Lack of a lot of true PS4 exclusives, most are on PC now, so unlike say, a Nintendo console where you have A LOT of exclusives motivating people to get them playing on PC, PS4 has, Bloodborne, Infamous 2nd son, amd a couple more niche games I hadn't heard of until I searched for PS4 exclusives
And the 2nd reason is that it's not a challenge in comparison to say, wiiU, Switch, or 3DS emulation
So up till now, no devs had motivation to make a PS4 emulator, it wouldn't lead to a lot of games becoming playable on PC, and doing it to challenge yourself wouldn't really work since compared to any other console, the challenge is a lot smaller
Just beat Bloodborne 2 on my Garmin
The only other games that need to be playable on emulator is The Last of Us 2, Gravity Rush 1&2, Infamous Second Son & First Light, Shadow of The Colossus, and The Last Guardian. Then the PS4 would be completely obsolete.

I mean, the emulation devs DO indeed know if something is fixed, at least in terms of how accurate something is handled in the emulator.
