    Thank you. This brought back many holiday fishing times at Bembridge in the '70s when I was a teenager on holiday with my parents. We stayed at the Rendezvous Cafe self contained apartments right by the lifeboat station pier (is it still there I wonder). One time there has been a king tide that washed up heaps of seaweed to the right of the lifeboat pier and the seaweed was full of maggots. The next king tide washed them out and the mullet and bass were having a field day. My brother and I also had a field day and were releasing most of what we caught. It was great fun.

    That whole area is so fishy mate, i run down from kent to fish the iow regularly,and spent many hours exactly where you were. Theres some lovely ground just a little further out the harbour mouth,perfect for lure fishing in the waders 😉

    What a great session you both had ..lovely to watch as always Tom.
    At the same time 3 of us relied on your normal standard of ragworm on Friday for a trip to West Bexington.
    Conditions weren't right there but when we compared all our rag baits ..we all agreed that many were dead and the rest lifeless.
    On the same session we had already discussed how we'd all travel to your shop as it focuses on sea fishing.
    One of us sourced rag from the moordown tackle shop ... They were very lively.
    To be fair he didn't out fish us ..but I'm sure you get my point.
    Quality control surely ?

    Quality bit of bassing gents, lovely looking venue it looks very similar to Mudeford.
    Do you ever use soft back crabs for your bassing, Tom?

    • @christchurchanglingcentre5428
      @christchurchanglingcentre5428  4 หลายเดือนก่อน +1

      Yes, I actually love a softie, or a crinkly! One of those baits that lots of people put down, but for no reason. Fish love them!

    • @robertknight4539
      @robertknight4539 4 หลายเดือนก่อน +1

    Fantastic cinematography and gentle music. Quite reminiscent of the early go fishing films, just a lot more "modern". IE You'd never have found the copious gay energy this provides on 80's TV.
