I am a real world Airbus pilot with thousands of hours flying the real aircraft and thought it would be fun to have a look at the new detailed simulation of the longest baby 'bus by Toliss as well as the new MSFS a320 NEO. Hopefully you find this useful and it brings another perspective to your simulation. Any thoughts or comments are welcome!

@@themetalicious7195 Well If that's true they need to step up. Their 737 is not on the level of fidelity as the Fenix A320 just like their products in P3D was not on the level of FS Labs.

For another detail on realism, take a look at the EFB. When the window is closed it has the cable attached to it. Notice that the battery level of the tablet is at 82%. When you unlock the window, the cable is detached and you can move the window. When you close it again, the cable is attached again. Notice @5:32 the battery level dropping 1%. When the battery of the aircraft comes on then is charging again the EFB and the battery level goes up! Just perfect, just speechless...
WOW, there is a phenomenal level of detail here. Fenix has surpassed my already very high expectations, I can already tell this will feel like a living, breathing Airbus within our sims. And you've done a phenomenal job showcasing her, thanks for all you do.
Just an insane level of detail! Fenix have done an incredible job by the looks of it. I heard that even the orange cones outside appear in slightly different locations each time! And that the standby compass deflects when the engine ignition fires up. Just incredible!
This project appears to be to be the very definition of a labour of love. Details included not because they add much to the day to day user experience, but simply because they exist. Incredible.
On a personal note, I don’t know if you’re part of your operators training department, but you seem well suited to it regardless! I’m trying to get myself into the A320 as a type that I might find myself on should airlines ever start recruiting again, even if it’s just for the sim assessment! I’ve subbed enthusiastically and look forward to some tutorials!
Recruitments will start sooner or later. It's just a matter of time. :-) The Fe ix Bus for sure should help gibe a good feel for the sim part of any assesment.
Just.. wow! At 6mins I wondered if the brake fan would actually rotate..... lo & behold 2 minutes later, it did! Just brilliant!! 😁 Can't wait to fly this! 🛫
Hi Captain - as a long-time viewer who has learnt pretty much everything I know about Airbus from you, firstly thank you for everything you have done for the community. If you can find the time at some point, it would be great to have a video showing the differences between the CEO & NEO versions of the 320 that we need to be aware of.
I am out of words! I have been a flight simmer since the 90s and this is the stuff I have been waiting for. I'm shaking from pure excitement!

On the flap buffet clip the engines create heat haze as well.
Gavin at EZYsimpilot said if you have the standby compass down and start the APU the compass will spin due to electrical interference from the APU starters

Actually in the very beginning I alr know Fenix will offer a better product than the PMDG. The C/Bs actually work on the Fenix. at 2/3 the price of the PMDG

Don’t know if you’ve seen this, but the magnetic compass actually moves during APU start due to the electromagnetic interference.

This virtual depiction of the plane is one of the most incredible things I've ever seen
Fantastic simulation all round. The newly raised quality standard for MSFS airliner add-ons. One tiny concern, and that is the lack of wing flex. Although beautifully modelled and drawn, the wings seem to be made of concrete! They remained pretty rigid throughout the flight!
Was going to get the PMDG 737.... not anymore.. this beauty is next level what a plane!
I bought the dam thing and then this got announced. Slightly gutted as once this comes out I’ll never really use it again haha.

Luckily I’m part of the beta team and I only can say it’s a labour of love for the Fenix team to build such an amazing product. You can’t do that kind of quality without passion and love. It’s not all about making money it’s also a question of personal aspiration.
I have a funny feeling they will be making a lot of money! lol - looks amazing and will even drag a few die-hard Boeing lovers kicking and screaming into the A320 I reckon!

Excellent video 320 SimPilot , I use the FBW aircraft .. Being a novice to Flight Simulation i love MSFS . Everytime i watch your video content i learn so much more about how to pilot this plane .. i would love to go back in time and choose being a pilot as a career path . Thank you

Wow, just wow!!! A am flying the A32NX by FlyByWire and wondered why I would be bothered with another A320 model but Fenix certainly has added some incredible details that make me seriously wonder now. And what to say about SimPilot? Your fantastic knowledge of the aircraft and amazing videos are the best one can wish for when discovering MSFS 2020. A huge thanks on my behalf.

Can't wait for the release. BTW, how are you getting that external replay landing shot where the camera just sits by the runway? I use Sky Dolly for the replays, is it done with that?
This aircraft is so detailed, a real a320 pilot is finding out things about the aircraft that even he didn't know about
lmao this can't be more detailed than the real plane. It's a sim.
@@chendavid9582 Great obversvation bud. The real plane doesn't have fucking creative mode where the pilot can fly around the plane and zoom in on every nook and cranny.
@@tothemax9850 You'd be high if you thought a $50 plane models every detail of a real multimillion dollar commercial jet..
@@chendavid9582 The point is, its a 50$ plane that is modeled so well, that while exploring the craft in external view someone very familiar with the real plane can still observe or learn something new. Remarkable feat and all given at a low price. Why the passive aggression ?
Looking forward to adding this to my hangar! I just hope my PC can run it reasonably well!
Just to mention another level of detail is that if you zoom in on ANY sign externally you can read every word perfectly...just outstanding in every aspect...I'd buy it as is! seems perfect now!

FENIX has already convinced me with this A320 and now my only question is whether this plane is light on MSFS. PMDG's 737-700 is very light on MSFS. So I would like to know if this A320 is too?

Absolute incredible. And I am still hoping for a cargo version :) But now I am curious: Is that brake fan really spinning inside that small fan housing when switching it on in the cockpit? This amount of detail even animating such tiny things not visible when using the normal camera would not only be incredible insane amount of realism! Oh - 7:53 haha this is absolute CRAZY awesomeness they have animated the brake fan!! Thiy Airbus is beyond. It´s probably the original model the Matrix uses for real flights converted for Flight Sim 20.
But.... can you fly with that camera through the APU air inlet and see the APU inside? ;)

The level of detail is just insane. Regarding liveries wouldn’t be great if we can get grime built up the more the plane is flown, starting with a brand new shining livery straight out of the paint shop.

Very nice indeed. Now I'm not the world's biggest Airbus fan (I find them boring to fly in the sim, akin to babysitting) but I can certainly appreciate the complexity and attention to detail here, it's absolutely unparalleled in it's execution.
The detail whereby the NotAniPad draining battery when cold and dark is mind blowing.

Thank you for another great vid! I did notice the hydraulic systems are not on the ECAM in the order you mentioned them (Green Yellow Blue) (timestamp 10:48). Was that just a small error or are they modeled incorrectly?
Great video & super showcase a most realistic study level commercial jet. Love it. Do the sun shades move up & down in passenger cabin windows? because I did see some partially closed and opened in your external view at landing her. Do the windscreen wipers move the rain away?
I’ve heard the wipers do in fact shift the rain.
You should really get FSrealistic, it offers camera shakes upon touchdown both with the main and front gear. Great for immersion!
5:20. There is an ECAM warning. Cabin pressure above 10,000ft. Then you realise you may have left the window unlocked 😂
I imagine it would get a bit windy on takeoff if that were the case lol. Had several takeoffs in P-3 where the overhead hatch just came loose a bit and popped up slightly, the sound was quite noticeable...and alarming lol. We were like fck what was that...do we stop - keep going?
Hi Captain. Have been a subscriber of yours since I started flying the Toliss 321 in XP11 and learnt a heck of alot from your tutorials. Seeing now that you have been on the Fenix Alpha/Beta team has been exciting to hear and then see with your subsequent tutorials.
I can tell by the excitement in your voice, that you truly believe this to be the most realistic simulation of the real aircraft.
I would love to hear your thoughts on the flight dynamics compared to the real aircraft given the Asobo limitations on ground effect and how the aircraft appears to float somewhat on landing, even with the fbw A32nx.
Also I'd be curious to know if the seats can be moved forward and backwards and up/ down to adjust to your liking at all?

Wow! This is really a great module. MSFS is so realistic, they modeled the guys out front correctly, just standing there talking, lol.
Just a note: an accumulator is usually a cylinder with half of it containing a membrane/bladder like a balloon that is filled with nitrogen then it is filled with hydraulic fluid compressing the nitrogen filled bag to a certain pressure then closed. When needed you can then open the accumulator and pressurize the system with the pressure stored in it. Just to clarify for whoever wanted to know. This is one type of accumulator not sure if it's what Air planes use but it is on life boat launch systems that I work on. Cheers!
another small detail: when starting the apu if the standby compass is out you can see the compass swing around from the apu starter magnetic field.
It looks so amazing! The only feature I wish they’ll add is state saving, so you load in the way you last left it
I would understand that in a GA aircraft with you often being the only pilot, but with airliners you extremely rarely get back to a plane you were the last to fly right?
@@matteochewie4373 true, but it will make the shutdown (and pre-startup) more important. Loading the plane with switches in random (but reasonable) states would also be great (like the C310 rental state)
@@Ronald9540 flying an airliner you'd hope the previous crew always carried out the shutdown checklist so the switches should remain where you expect them to be.

28:25 I love how you can see that the nose is starting to go up but it takes like a second or two for the plane to start climbing and you can tell the alpha angle is high

Hi! Which mods do you use to have such a realistic lightning and HDR? The shots inside the cockpit with the exposed bright sun lighting outside are amazing! My MSFS doesn't have this kind of realistic lighting, when I am inside the cockpit I can see the outside without any difference of lighting. Without this pupil aperture effect that yours have. How can I achieve the same effect on my simulator? Thank you in advance for the attention and congratulations for the video! Amazing work and review of the plane!

i would be interested to know what are the points that are not accurate to the real aircraft. From 1 to 100% how would you rate this product
when compared to the real stuff? i have the feeling this is almost accurate to the real airbus!
I hope that if it is modeled that well, it also has a proper rain drop simulation on the windscreens and not the wipers running for nothing
One of my pet peeves is the inner wheels being chocked haha. Irl it bugs me and it bugs me they chocked em on the fenix 😂😂😂
PMDG have some catching up to do when it comes to sounds and modelling but I'm sure they will
