Great video, thanks for the effort that was put into it. Just a thought and tip: 3min can be MUCH too short of a curing time for many waxes out there. For those two, 3min seems to be ok as Turtle Wax recommends 2-5min and JaxWax recommends the application panel-wise, but it seems that this was pure luck on your end. ;) Also, slickness is actually completely independent from hydrophobic properties. There are slick products with good hydrophobics, as there are slick products with bad hydrophobics - as much as with sticky, non-slick products. Sonax BSD is known to create a rough finish to the touch but is one of the most hydrophobic products out there.
I don't know what you did different but my 3 vehicles use Jaxwax and water doesn't even stick like it did in the video.

I have used a lot of jax wax products and usually am happy with them but i can agree the jaxwax graphene wax is a huge let down
So if it last 2 to 3 months! It is fine! Especially in winter! It is fine to re apply that 4 to 6 times through the year! Not a big issue!
McKees 37 Graphene vs TurtleWax would be a a good one to do.
Jax wax graphene paste wax: let cure 10-15 minutes before wipe off
IM A TURTLE WAX MAN FOR LIFE!
