    Thank you for the demo! I was also worried about the base not being powerful enough to blend twice as much smoothie, so this was exactly what I wanted to see! It seems like it has exactly the same struggles as the smaller one, which is no biggie.

      It is a benefit to us to be able to make a bigger smoothie.

    The blade jamming--while making frozen Margaritas--is why I got the XL (32-oz.) jar... and tend to tilt it.😉

      I have experienced the blade jamming with smoothies. I have even titled it to the side. Yet, the finished product is soooo good!

    Be aware of that the instructions on taking care of the Blendjet specify not to use MCT oil because it can deteriorate the plastic. We all love our Blendjets so much we don't want to ruin them.

      @kitten375 ปีที่แล้ว +4

      Yes! I just read that too. Here it is from the user guide - DO NOT put MCT oil (or powder) in your BlendJet; over time, this can damage the blender. 😬

      @reliableandrew 7 หลายเดือนก่อน +1

      Well!...that's quite annoying if this 'highly falutin', fancy Blendjet 2 can't handle a little bitty amount of MCT oil!...really should make us all wonder if it has issues with ANY other oil in that case...like the coconut oil from which MCT oil is derived from, almond butter or other soaked nuts and seeds.

    I wish I could like this video more than once, lol. You ladies are lovely and I enjoyed watching you. I have the Blendjet and debated about getting the bigger container. Now I'm seriously considering it.

    Ahhh.. 32oz... 4 cups explains the "2x capacity". Over kill for a personal blender, so not for me personally, 2 cup smoothie is perfect. Base/battery will obviously have to work twice as hard. I almost bought the xl. Cause of course bigger the better. Thank you for the video, saved me $30.
    Can't decide on color/print tho. 🤪

    • @APickyVegan
      @APickyVegan  2 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      @Richard Ransier - That is fantastic you were able to choose the one that works for you. I have often found myself saying, I wish I had more smoothie. This once has kept me from saying That. When it comes to choosing color/print... they keep adding so many choices it does make it a challenge. Share your choice once you get it.

      This is a great point, Richard.
      Like a number of other users across the globe, my Blendjet 2 jar's base threading has literally crumbled off. *Terrible.* I'm here to see if it's worth buying the XL jar upgrade, but your comment reminds me that it might actually be detrimental to me, as I have become more mindful and prudent about serving size.
      I'm glad I first scrolled comments, receiving this confirmation to just get an altogether better unit from a different brand. I appreciate this.

    I saw this video and while looking for it I saw you can get a "replacement" base for half the price of the whole blend jet, and I was like you and thought I probs would only use the bigger one. So that was a bonus thankyou for this video :)

      This has been one of the best moves we made going with the larger size. Let us know when you make your first smoothie!🙂

      @@APickyVegan my mums one, that I ordered for her the day after I ordered mine (because i knew either her or my little brother would try to steal mine lol) came today.
      But I got to make a frozen Berry shake with it.
      And omg I love it! I already brought another one, one of the rainbow ones. 🌈
      Can't wait till I get mine.

      @@araeoftravel - You should take a pic of them all and share with me. This is fantastic. We keep ours on the charger since we use it like every other day. I have been making smoothies with fresh watermelon in them lately. I will be doing a new video soon with that.

      @@APickyVegan oo yum! I looked at getting watermelon but it was a bit too expencive in Aus because we're in winter but I'm looking forward to summer so I can get some to make smoothies.
      I liked you on Facebook so will send photos through when I can 😊

    Just ordered mine and received it but I was wondering, can I just buy a new base to use for the 16oz cup? Bought the 32oz cup for my wife.

    I couldn't see me carrying the XL jar around. At home I can use electric blender for large quantities.
    If I was making a smoothie for a few people out somewhere with either my 14 or 20 oz jar I'd just have all the ingredients to hand and make them individually.

    Riddle me this? What’s the difference between blend jet,popbabies,magic bullet,nutri bullet,blentec and vitamix blenders? Answer both The Vitamix Blender and The Blendtec Blender are both American Created,Assembled,Built, Invented and Made, but how many people knows that The Vitamix Blender goes way back to the 1920’s & 1930’s that’s when The Vitamix Blender was Created,Assembled,Built,invented and Manufactured with in this country. The other blenders were assembled, built and manufactured in China. Kitchenaide and Oster followed some years later and they to were assembled, built,created,invented and manufactured in this country as well also. Procter and Gamble followed along as well. Just to name a few. Sincerely Yours Truly Ivan I J

      I have a Blendtech and love it at home but the Blendjet is perfect for traveling, day trips, taking to work or a mobile home, or just a quick one person smoothie.

      I will have to see if it still fits in the console of my car because the base stayed the same.
